Delilah Magic was born to Muggle parents, and her magical abilities began to show themselves before anyone had discovered the reason for her powers. In her home, magic remained an unknown force which created strange occurrences that people found hard to comprehend. The room experienced automatic object movement, unexplained light disturbances, and two dangerous accidents which required immediate attention. Her parents argued often because they blamed Delilah for their problems. Delilah maintained her belief that she caused all the bad things which happened to her.

Before she turned five, home became an uncomfortable space for her. A sudden tragedy took her parentsโ€™ lives, leaving Delilah alone in a world that had never fully understood her. She stood outside one night when she had no destination to reach yet she held onto the delicate belief that things should not conclude in this manner.

She soon found company with another person. Magical adults discovered her presence that night and quickly recognized her magical identity and her tragic loss. The organization asked her only a small number of questions while they provided her with protection. They established her entry into the wizarding world while they ensured her future enrollment at Hogwarts.

Entering that world felt like a dream. New rules, spells, and expectations caused life to change its course. Delilah approached it cautiously, always waiting for something to fall apart. The excitement of magic required multiple attempts before she achieved a secure feeling about it.

School developed into a system which brought her organization. Magic transformed her understanding of what had once terrified her. She retained her past experiences yet they stopped controlling her life. Delilah developed into her authentic self which brought her both stability and magical wonder.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Delilah's first use of accidental magic was at the age of 4, they were with their muggle parents and they were talking about magic. Delilah was saying that they believed in magic. Delilah's muggle parents disagreed and started yelling. Delilah was glaring at their father and they lifted their father into the air. They giggled and their father threw a flip-flop at them. But they ducked in time so they didn't get hit.

Hi Delilah! Here are a few edits to make before I can review your application again:
1) History
- Currently, the history that is present in this application and the one that is in your encyclopedia is not the same. Please edit them to make them the same word for word.
- Please clarify on the backstory of your character: when you say that your character was taken in by the wizarding world, are you referring to getting accepted into Hogwarts?
2) Age
- The birthdays that are listed on your profile and on your encyclopedia do not match, and in both cases Delilah would not be 11 years old when starting school as a first year.
STATUS: Pending -- Elena, 10th February
- Your backstory seem to imply your character was abandoned and lost on the street at a young age, and immediately adopted by the first family walking by. This is a huge no, as we for one part do not allow child abuse. Please edit this part!
STATUS: Pending -- Elena, 26th February
- Please tell us more about the "two dangerous accidents" and the "sudden tragedy" your backstory mentions!
Status: Closed - Lear April 3.
- It has been over 1 month since the last edit to this application. Please reapply.

Epona lived between two different worlds. Before her mother's tragic accident, she lived in a small bungalow between fields, stables, and a stream. On weekends, she loved to frolic and roll in the green grass of her neighborhood, and in winter, she spent her afternoons dancing, having sleepovers at her friends' houses, and sometimes taking care of the horses with her father when her mother was competing.
From the time of her mother's fall, everything changed. She decided to set up a stud farm and no longer had time to take care of Epona. So, she decided to send her to live with her aunt, Rita. At the age of 17, Epona hardly ever saw her father except in August and at Easter. This saddened her a little, but Rita knew exactly how to take care of her and did it wonderfully.
Rita took her everywhere; during the July holidays, she went to Paris. Epona loved seeing the Eiffel Tower, its other famous monuments, and eating chocolatines (or pain au chocolat ๐Ÿ˜‰). Epona attended a small school and was top of her class; she excelled in all subjects, which greatly impressed her teachers!
Rita gave her this quote that she found very useful: "Make your life a dream, and a dream a reality." Epona did exactly this when she entered the castle; she dreamed of becoming a witch. Epona had a very, very great friend, Allia. Allia was an idol to Epona, always there to listen when she was feeling down, always offering good advice, always kind, and always ready to fight for Epona. Allia will be greatly missed at the castle, like her aunt.

The moment that marked her the most was obviously her mother's death. She avoids thinking about it for too long, for fear of sinking into sadness. Her friends see her as courageous, but behind her smiles, she hides a fragile heart.

The first sign of magic: one day, when she was about seven years old, someone accidentally broke her favorite jewelry box. Furious, Epona saw her mother's vase rise into the air before falling back down and shattering into a thousand pieces. Her father, far from getting angry, simply kissed her and whispered discreetly, "I knew you were a witch."

A shape changing wizard, or Metamorphmagus, is a rare gene that some wizards and witches are born with. This rare gene allows the person to change physical aspects of their body at will, without the requirement of potions or a wand. Sometimes these changes are not at will, but instead a reaction from the wizard's emotions. The gene is known to skip multiple generations, which is the case for Olivia.

Silas Longspocket, a Half-blood Wizard that once attended Hogwarts was known as a Metamorphmagus. To the amusement of his housemates he could frequently be found sitting in the Gryffindor Tower practicing his innate ability to change his form. Sometimes they would find him with donkey ears, other times his eyes looked like those of a feline. He ended up marrying another half-blood wizard, Margaret Jameson, and while they had magical children, he never heard of another Metamorphmagus in his lifetime.

Generations later, Olivia Evans is born. There had not been a wizard in her family for generations, and a metamorphmagus had not been seen for even longer, ever since Silas Longspocket. As far as Amelia and John, Olivia's parents, knew there was no such thing as wizards outside of those one would see on a stage, doing tricks and illusions to make people for a couple of hours believe magic was real.

While in most Metamorphmagi the gene usually reveals itself when the wizard or witch is an infant, that was not the case for Olivia. One can only theorize that due to the amount of time that had passed since the last magic-capable person on either side of Olivia's family, the gene revealed itself much later only first showing itself when Olivia was a toddler.

One night when playtime was over John was putting Olivia to bed. After a while she eventually fell asleep and the house was quiet. But then Olivia woke up from something and started crying. Amelia went to check on the girl, only for John to come running into the room after Amelia screamed in shock. In the bed laid the crying Olivia, her blue eyes now a bright red. John and Amelia were scrambling for reasons. Maybe it was due to the lighting in the room, or maybe she was very sore in her eyes and that was why she was crying.

They managed to calm Olivia down and she eventually fell asleep again and in the morning they brought her to the pediatrician to have her eyes checked out, only to find that by the time they woke up her eyes were blue like normal. The doctor had no explanation as to what had happened, and tried to reason that they might have seen the wrong thing due to the lighting and it being late at night and them being tired.

As the years passed, these incidents kept occurring. Unexplainable changes from her eyes and hair changing colors, small patches of fur appearing on the back of her hands and similar. At first Amelia and John tried to reason and make up excuses. Fearful of what might happen and be done to their daughter, they decided to keep her at home and for Amelia to homeschool her as she already was staying at home due to her illness.

Olivia herself never knew why these changes kept happening to her, or how to control it. Realizing that these changes were happening primarily due to emotional reactions, she tried to bury her emotions but to little use as the changes ended up lasting longer and being much more noticeable. However as she got older she started to learn a little bit of control and being able to cause these changes at will every now and then.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
Born and raised in London, Olivia's family lives a simple life where everyone helps around the house. When Oli was younger she and her parents used to spend their summers together with another family; the Goodwins. Amelia and John, Olivia's parents, knew the Goodwins from a younger age, and through the summer vacations Olivia became best friends with the Goodwins daughter Josephine. Eventually the Goodwins moved to Russia, leaving Oli feeling lonely during the summers and most of her childhood. Due to her metamorphmagus-gene, she was kept home and homeschooled due to her parents fear of what could be done to her should she accidentally change her appearance when in school.

Her family consists of just herself and her parents and they live in a small house in London. Her dad works as a veterinarian and her mom is a stay at home mom due to an illness making it hard for her to work. Her parents has always been supportive of Olivia, which has built up confidence in Oli over the years, though due to her homeschooling and never really getting to meet other children she ended up becoming very shy.

While unknown to her and her family, their family are descended from wizards. Although there has been many generations since there last was a Wizard, magic runs in her family's blood. A mystery to perhaps be uncovered in the future as Oli grows into the Wizarding World and all of its history and mysteries, with answers to who and what she is.

When Olivia was told she is to be admitted to Hogwarts she was very excited. She realized that she is not an outcast, but instead she was living in a world not meant for her. She would get to meet kids that experienced weird and fantastic things in their childhoods, and maybe finally learn how to control her shapeshifting capabilities.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Olivia's first instance of magic happened when she was a toddler. One night she woke up crying and screaming, and to the shock and worry of her parents, her normally blue eyes had changed into a bright red! These kind of changes kept happening over the years, but the first other instance where it was not relating to her physical appearance changing was when she was on a stroll one day at the age of 8. She was walking past some bins when a rat that was feasting came out of a fallen over bin. It scared Olivia and as she started running, the bin suddenly rolled around, facing the direction opposite of Oliva. She at first thought it was the wind, but only the bin with the rat moved, as if it was shielding her from the rat within!

Character Backstory: Jamie was a very kind boy and always wanted to play with everyone. He wanted to go to Hogwarts so that he could play and learn many new things. He was so excited when he had received his letter, really, it was beyond his expectation. His schooling was pretty much normal, just that he went to a school where nothing ever happened. He had quite a few friends who liked him but everyone kept changing schools so he did not have any definite group of friends or anything like that and had to be lonely. For example, his last best friend was there for only 2 years, like that.
He did well in most subjects but he never really thought it was fun. His family is him, mother, and father. He had a lot of other friends who loved him and he loved them back. He always helped his mother at home and took his father seriously. He thought that this is a great opportunity for him to shine and grow. The moment his parents understood he was following in their footsteps, they immediately told him to take work at school seriously. They gave him a lot of help in packing and all. When he did not know that he was a wizard, he just went to the school that mum and dad sent him to. Summer holidays would mean that he had to learn a lot and study at home. Only for good behavior was he allowed to go and play with friends.
First Instance of Magic: This should have already been written to pass validations. We just want a copy written in this application so we have a record of this.

First instance of accidental magic: Jamie was playing Quidditch and he had just lost 10 matches in a row. He felt a bit furious when others were jeering at him and suddenly the Quaffle in mid-air flung itself straight at the ones laughing at him.
He was shocked about this and ran home immediately to inform his parents. He was 7 years old. But they explained that this was fine and actually he should be really proud about himself.

Character Backstory: He grew up in a pretty normal home, even if you count the fact of having a muggle father, a witch mother, and a muggle/squib (not sure which) older sister. He was raised in the coastal town of Barrow in Furness, a pretty sleepy town all things considered. There wasn't much to do in the town, but that did not stop his extrovert friends from dragging him around. Even though he was a half-blood, all of his close friends were all muggles. This mostly had to do with the fact they were barely any wizarding families in Barrow at all. Regardless, he was content in his life, although he truly did wish that there was more things to do in the town, rather than simply go out for meals and wander the town for the umpteenth time.

Throughout his childhood, as he grew up, is mother told him about Hogwarts and how, when he turned 11, he'd get to go too, telling him all sorts of stories from her own school days (that he admits he can't really remember, he was always sleepy when she told them). His sister, despite what he would have thought, didn't seem to care about not having magic. She was happy to proceed with her own goals in life, saying she was happy he got to experience the magic world.

First Instance of Magic: When he was about 6 years old, he was playing in the park with some of his friends. They got into an argument and Lysander stormed off. Away from the others, he simply grabbed whatever he could (small daisies) and threw them away. His mother quickly came and calmed him down, which worked rather quickly. After they stood up, his mother looked down at him, only to see the flowers he had plucked and thrown away had grown back again in an instance. What's more, there were more there than there was seconds ago.

Character Personality: Harmony Grace was always a sweet girl. She has a brown-blond swishy hair. Her eyes are green, just like both her parents. She is tall and very beautiful.
She keeps a smile on her face while talking to anyone. She knows she has a very beautiful name and always lives up to it. Most of her time, she spends in gardens and amidst flowers as she admits they help to give her a mood boost. Her nature is sweet, kind and she doesn't have a bad temper. She enjoys dancing around her lilies and tulips with her mother and father.
But she always hadn't been that way. When she watched her mother change something or move something with just a flick of her wand, she used to wonder how it was possible, but it didn't really work. She always had a knack for doing everything perfect, though. Many kids did not want to be with her because she did everything focused and she did not like gossiping and backbiting about muggles.
The few friends she had were also disliked by the others and in the end she ended up having almost nobody for 6 long years.
Her parents frequently tried to cheer her up but all in vain. But things changed as she began to grow towards being 11. And when she received her owl, she and her nature changed totally.

First Instance of Magic: It happened as she was dancing with her mother again. Harmony was 7. As they danced around and around the garden, suddenly they noticed every tulip and rose flying towards them and showering on top of them. Her mother's eyes shone with pleasure while Harmony knew, she could now do what she had seen her mother do before! It was a great pleasure for her.

Your backstory in your encyclopedia and the one you posted here aren't the same, they need to match in order to be reviewed and approved. So you need to either paste this one within your ency, or post the one in your ency here. Lastly, the backstory you posted here needs to be more about her childhood and upbringing rather than her personality and how she looks (^^) !

Please owl me when you have made the changes!

Elowin was born to a Mrs and Mr Pankhurst who were expecting a boy. They got over it but were still saddened. Before me they had my 14 year old sister Cora but she deeply shamed them by being a squib. She grew up in a household of rules which were often broken by me but I had an ok childhood

I was put in Ravenclaw following my fatherโ€™s footsteps ( my mother was in Slytherin) ๐Ÿƒ
I am a loyal vegetarian and my mothers attempts to make me eat meatโ€ฆwell letโ€™s just say I wonโ€ฆ

My house was easily recognisable by the lurid curtains of my roomโ€ฆ The insanely fancy gardenโ€ฆ The ginger cat walking about like he owned the place ( which he kinda did).
Recently I have had a letter from home telling me I am to be a big sister!
My sister feels left out in a magical family and sometimes is a bit jealous of me. I love my little family but sometimes they are too much for me to handle so I go and read a good book in my garden. We got our cat from the streets when I was young because he was thin and abandoned. Friends were scarce in her early life.

First Instance of Magic: My first accident of Magic was when I was six. My mum and dad had a big fight and I was really scared. I hid in my room but I could still hear the shouting. I burrowed under my duvet but a few seconds later I heard nothing ! I went downstairs and my mum and dadโ€™s mouths were swollen so they couldnโ€™t talk or argue! That was my first instance of Magic. My mum and dad were disbelieving that I had made their lips swell. I was very sad that they didnโ€™t believe me.

Fawkes was born on the 11th of January 2014 in a small village on the outskirts of London. Her mother worked at the ministry of magic as an auror. Her father on the other hand inherited a family business that was passed on from his father upon his retirement. The business had existed for multiple generations, going through the Chaos line as many ancestors were Alchemists, Potioneers and Medics. Throughout their research they developed numerous potions and medicines which are still used today. Her father oversaw all operations insuring that the business continues to strive. Due to this the Chaos family had generational wealth and while it was not as much as people would expect, they had enough to live comfortably as part of the upper middle class.

A few months before she turned 3 her mother gave birth to two twin boys. Fawkes adored her younger brothers and assured them that she would keep them safe no matter what. Despite the fact her mother worked long hours she was still close to her. Her mother had grown up partially in the muggle world and had picked up numerous hobbies which she passed onto Fawkes. She taught her how to use muggle writing tools and showed her various muggle technology as well. Fawkes found her love for the creative arts through her. She would draw and write poetry to her heart's content. While she was closer to her mother that didn't mean she wasn't to her father. When she was young her father would show her the stars and constellations through his telescope. She grew fascinated with Astronomy and would constantly go out after dark to see the stars. Her father would also play the piano. After relentlessly asking her father he would sign her up for lessons.

She would grow up close to the other children in her village and everyone knew each other since it was a small village. Though not everyone in the village was part of the magical world most were and they would talk for hours on end about going to Hogwarts. She would wonder what house she would end up getting. Her father was a Gryffindor while her mother had attended Mahoutokoro in Asia. Her brothers would also wonder about it and they would argue about which was the best house constantly. They were excited when she received her letter to go to Hogwarts and while she was nervous as well she knew that the journey ahead was going to be a fun one for sure.

She was with her family at a camping sight when she was 3 years old. She had always been fascinated with stars and astronomy so she loved seeing them in the open fields. She reached out for the stars and her magic caused there to be pockets of unnatural light shinning and twinkling around her almost like stars. Her parents were confused as to where the light was coming from. When they saw it around her they realised this was her first instance of magic. They were ecstatic that their daughter had shown her affinity for magic at such a young age.

Part Veela Application

Dating back to early 20th century Romania, Gretas grandmother allured a innocent german wizard to do her deed, who likely did not survive that interaction. Little is known about what happened to Gretas motherโ€™s (Isolde) parents, but one could guess that she was left to fend for herself at a young age. Greta, on the other hand, was lead through her ability with great care from her father, although he is a muggle. Isolde was not in the right mentality to prepare her children with the curse and gift that came with her blood. She was traumatized due to that very topic, and refused to reconcile herself or others on the matter. (see more in History.)

Gretas father, Michael, was a man of moral and pounded the ethics of her and her brotherโ€™s magical abilities into their development. Greta was well aware of what harm she could bring to her community and rarely brought it up, but those who knew of her ancestry were wary. Growing up with muggles but also with and a handful of witches and wizards, Greta and her brotherโ€™s were often outed by the magic community from distrust. It was a pain to see her peers with magical blood giggle and play, have sleepovers, and share humble magical tricks that they were able to perform. Therefore, she only called muggles her friends, who didnโ€™t even know a splinter about who Greta truly was; and only saw the beautiful shell of herself that she presented to them.

On very rare occasions, her attempts to hide her true identity fail and emotions get the better of her. Considering that Greta is only one quarter Veela, her transformation into a bird like demon is not nearly as horrific as a full blooded one. Itโ€™s true that at first she seems very approachable. Greta is a very chatty girl, bright and full of personality. But sheโ€™s very sensitive and prone to overthinking situations. Itโ€™s obvious when she becomes less cheerful, because when her mask of beauty and kindness cracks, a hideous creature lifts from her frail, childlike frame. Most of the time Gretas hair is like a waterfall of gold cascading down her waist, almost breathing an angelic song. When aggravated it rises in a chilling wind, slithering in a horrible way around her, like bright blonde ribbons of snakes. Her nose, otherwise a picture perfect straight line, doubles to the size of half her face in a crooked form that only a hag could contest with. Underneath what was once her nose and now her bird like beak, her pearly white teeth that usually are always spread out in a grin quickly turn into a grimace. Gretas scowl reveal rotting fangs and a slimy tongue, but the most disturbing thing was what happened to her eyes. What was once a large pool of blue and green, her eyelashes fluttering with each blink, now turned into small yellow slits. Her pupils narrowed like a birds, piercing everything with an enchanting touch.
Growing up, she struggled with the morals revolving around her power. Things came easier for her than others, and the ones who knew of her advantage hated her for it. One summer day when Greta turned nine years old, already settled in her muggle town in England, she made a brutal mistake. The few children that lived there included a little boy whom she already was in bad terms with (see FIOM) and a little girl who was her age. The boy often got on her nerves while the girl and Greta quickly grew close. Knock, knock, two quick raps on her front door was a sign for Greta that her friend wanted to play. Who else would be knocking on their door in their nearly empty village? She opened her door expectedly, already gathering her tows in her arms, when she realized it was anyone but her friend. It was the girls mother, a woman who seemed angry wherever she went.
โ€œUh, are you that odd manโ€™s little daughter? You look nothing like how I was expecting. After meeting your โ€˜pa I assumed youโ€™d all have buck teeth! Sorry, but I donโ€™t think I want the lot of you to hang around my daughter.โ€ The mother looked Greta up and down in her attire and seemed reluctant to go on with the topic. โ€œYouโ€™re a pretty girl, but why on earth do you dress in those robes? Is that a German thing?โ€ Continuing to chew her gum loudly as she opened her mouth as far as possible to read out each syllable of a word sarcastically, she pivoted and turned around.
This automatically ticked Greta off. In a blink of an eye, Gretas nose grew into a beak like monstrosity and her eyes turned into slits. A low hiss sound rose deep from inside her now not-so-tiny nine year old frame, as her back grew crooked and large. In horror, the motherโ€™s jaw dropped into jaw-lock, her gum hanging on her tooth and eventually falling down. The second the wad of pink bubble gum hit the pavement, Greta hissed, โ€œMy daddy is a great man!โ€
Screaming, the woman ran off. For months afterwards, gossip hit the tiny streets of the village. Nobody actually believed that loony womanโ€™s story of a tiny, unusually beautiful girl to turn into the horrors the woman spoke of, but all were a bit wary of Greta and her family from then on.
History
Reducio
gretas magical heritage begins on her mothers side in romania; where her veela of a grandmother took a chance with a wizard who did not last very long after his interaction with the veela. thanks to her unknown and long gone grandfather, gretas mother isolde was a half-veela. at a young age, she escaped from romania as it was a dangerous place to be for a veela in the 20th century, and moved to germany. after graduating hogwarts, isolde met gretas soon-to-be father, and not long afterwards she lured him in but with much more love than hunger. after fate unfolded, greta was born in dresden, germany along with her brother- but moved to england at age eight with her family. although leaving her childhood behind, she brought a slight german accent that stayed with her till the very end.
her father was fond of all things from marxist philosophy to film. greta inherited this as well as his charming wit and always delights in rambling on and on about the endless lists of movies she watches. sheโ€™ll always quote a handful of classic literature that seems to be way past her age.
her mother, though never abusive, seemed traumatized from a magical incident that nobody ever discussed. it led to a difficult relationship between her and her mind which drove herself to take her life when greta turned seven. perhaps that is the reason why they moved away from their sorrow ridden home in germany.
gretas defense mechanism against her grief was humor and complete disregard of her past, hating her accent which reminded her of her home country. she is a sweet girl who is quite talkative, but only once you get to know her. otherwise sheโ€™s a reclusive girl who relies on her friends and family to stand up for her. this might have resulted into her being a clingy child who is always insecure of being left behind. sensitive and prone to assuming the worst of things- she drives herself into her hobbies and never looks up from them.

  • mateo ludwig dean | a fourteen year old part-veela. he is tall for his age with a sharp appearance that doesnโ€™t match his light, quiet voice. considering his dark floppy hair and angular eyes, he looks nothing like greta. he spends his time with his reclusive group of friends as well as his odd interests. a slytherin, he takes advantage of the astronomy tower and occasionally paints there, taking in the view you otherwise would never dream of in the village where they live now. he treats his sister like a prized possession that collect dust, as if sheโ€™s too precious to interact with.
  • michael ryder dean | born in england as a muggle, he discovered his love for history at a young age and consumed all knowledge he could get his hands on. eventually, his local libraries were not sufficient, so he settled for travel to satisfy his curiosity. when he found isolde valduva in germany, not only did he discover the most beautiful, enticing woman, but also his greatest heartbreak. her magic was entrancing to him, and when he found the key to the magical world inside his wife, it was as if he was starving to death and isolde fed him a feast. when she died, it seemed to him that the new world he discovered had collapsed. the only way to hold onto this lifeline of knowledge was through his children, whom he loved so dearly he provided to them with all his might. some might say he knows more about wizards than wizards do about themselves.
  • isolde (valduva) dean | gretas deceased mother, a slytherin, a half-veela, and a woman who truly left a mark on everyone who interacted with her. her magic and veela heritage was her greatest attribute yet also her greatest challenge. she towered over everyone, hazel eyes analyzing and attracting everything at once. it seemed that her mind was never at rest, even after death. in her living years, Isoldeโ€™s only focus on how to gain sovereignty over her own life. it was hard to properly care for her loved ones because not only of her control issues, but because she felt guilty for passing down what she thought was a malison of a race. a large contributor to her sorrow, and especially her death, was due to being a victim of the โ€œimperioโ€ curse. she was a dark wizards plaything for a short period of time and did a load of their dirty work. it was a burden she carried all the way up until her depressive state drove her to take her own life.

a few weeks after settling in her new home in england, greta- although accompanied by her brother- felt an extreme loneliness that seemed to follow her about. she stumbled upon a playground a few blocks down and delightfully took notice of the swing set that twirled in the cold winter wind. she plopped herself down and started backing up the swing, ready to pretend to fly back to her old friends as she flung herself into the air. all of a sudden, a long metal creak sounded as something jerked the swing back. a young muggle boy with sticky hands and a face redder than a tomato grasped one of the chains she was holding onto and shook it back and forth.
โ€œOI! get off it!โ€ the rounded young muggle droned impatiently, not stopping the exasperating jangle of the chains. โ€œand who are yew? and who are yew to SIT on MY swings!โ€
โ€œyourโ€ฆ swings?โ€ greta responded taken aback, sliding off for fear of getting hit with one of his fat fists slamming into her while continuing to rattle the swing.
โ€œits true, you know. he claimed them.โ€a small girl with an abnormally large mouth came up behind him. she held a pony figurine in one hand and clutched it harder when she sniffed, โ€œโ€ฆbut, really, who are you?โ€
โ€œi just moved here. from germany, see? those are my friends! well, they were, anyhow. my father never got me a phone to contact them like he did for my brother.โ€ greta pulled out a picture depicting a few girls her age, surrounding her while beaming and laughing excitedly. she grinned back at them with her smile matching the one in the picture. โ€œwould you like to be my new friends?โ€ she looked up desperately. they seemed a little cruel, but better than nothing i suppose.
โ€œfriendsโ€ฆ with you two?โ€ the boy laughed, only making him redder, โ€œi could never! you havent even got any phones!โ€
โ€œwell, weโ€™re only sevenโ€ฆโ€ the muggle girl looked down in embarrassment and stormed off, holding her toy pony close to her chest.
this only made the sneering boy cackle harder. โ€œand youโ€ฆโ€ the chubby boy spoke between gasps, catching his breath due to his unnecessary laughter, โ€œyouโ€™re accent sounds like a speech impediment!โ€ he wove his sticky hand in gretas face as she tensed and held back tears of shock. how could one be so blunt? out of the blue, the swing in the nearly empty playground rose from itโ€™s suspension. the little muggle looked up in horror, โ€œA GHOST!โ€ he swung his head from left to right, facing the squeaky swing poised in the wind- then turning back to the foreign german girl who seemed to be throwing daggers in her stare of disbelief and anger. the swing, no surprise, slammed into the raspy voiced boy, making him plummet to the wood-chip covered ground- his lips bloody and crying โ€œi wanna go homeee!โ€
after fulfilling his wish and running back to his house, he told his mother the tale of their new neighbor. unlike the boys mother- who scolded her son for his clumsiness and imagination, gretas father knew what had occurred and simply nodded in approval. he assured greta who was in shock of her abilities that what had transpired was ordinary for people like her. from that day on, greta and the girl with the horse toys ruled over the swings happily ever after!

Marcella was born a pureblooded witch on the 08th of May, 2014. She is Italian, and her mother is English. She was born in London and had grown up there. Due to being an only child, her parents had pampered her a lot. Growing up in a pureblood household, mingling with muggles always seemed a hard task. But there were a few Muggle skills she specialised in because of her mother's sister-in-law. It was being a literal fashion queen and her ever-growing love for Muggle books. Both her parents' families held no animosity towards Muggles, which came as quite a surprise to all, considering their blood statuses.

Marcella had a fun yet simple childhood, though she's a bit delusional. When she's stressed, she tends to imagine random scenarios and fangirl over them. Marcella often visits her maternal grandparents on the weekends. They lived in a mansion close to the sea, so she loves to go to the beach to observe the various types of seashells and the behaviour of crabs and turtles, and write it down in her environmental journal. She didn't have many friends growing up; it was just her family, herself, and her beloved books. She loves reading so much. The only friends she did have were her cousins, but they're family, so they didn't count as friends.

She had been homeschooled by her mother for her basic education. She had learned to read and write earlier than most children her age. Her family had a big library in their mansion, as reading was loved by all her family members. Her parents would take her out for educational trips around Wizard London to increase her knowledge about the magical World. And her Muggle Aunt would take her to non-magical places to familiarise herself with the Muggle world. Though she never seemed to be able to mingle much successfully with Muggles.

When she had first received her Hogwarts letter, she was over the moon. She had told about it to everyone in her family about it. She heard so much about Hogwarts from her family, she was dying to go there. Everyone expected her to be in Ravenclaw, but when the sorting hat screamed Ravenclaw, she wasn't much shocked. She thought her parents had predicted it. Her father was secretly glad; he himself was a Ravenclaw when he was young.

First Instance of Magic:

Her first instance of magic was when she was six, and had gone to visit her Paternal Aunt Maybell, who she's sure absolutely loathes her, chided herfor being naughty when she hadn't done anything. It had angered her, and the book she was holding had burst into flames
