Have you ever wondered what could happen if someone went to Mars? Maybe you have, maybe you haven't but there are dangers traveling to Mars. Some of the dangers are radiation, distance from earth, and isolation. These are three types of dangers for traveling to Mars and why humans shouldn't travel to Mars.

One reason why humans shouldn't travel to Mars is because of the radiation. Radiation increases your cancer risk.  The average cancer risk is 40%. Imagine coming home one day after being on Mars and learning your cancer risk went up by 20% or learning you have it. Radiation also can damage your nervous system. "...damages the central nervous system, can alter cognitive function, reduce motor function, and prompt behavioral changes" (Abadie and Whiting pg 1).

I love mars ! I did a essay on it to a year or so ago for a project!
