Aida smiled back at Flash with gratitude. The boy then opted to hand her the binoculars, doubling Aida's grin in both size and warmth.
“Thank you,” said Aida gracefully. While she was trying to improve her vision by straining to see the small dots of the players, she was only human and could only make out so much of what was going on with the naked eye. Squinting hard would ultimately do little to help her improve her powers of strategy, and Aida knew it. She first carefully looked at the binoculars, trying to understand how they worked since she had never seen any before. Then, imitating the others Aida lifted the lenses up to her eyes, pointing in no particular direction. Suddenly flashing into view, the enlarged face of Valentin was looking straight at her. Startled, Aida pulled the binoculars off her face. What was that? she wondered. Then, peering back into the lenses she didn’t see anything in particular. Moving her head around, she finally caught a player in her sights– a Durmstrang boy, quite mysterious and wearing an eye patch, making a bludger attempt. Because Aida had never used binoculars before she wasn’t very good with them, so she couldn’t figure out who the target was nor whether the boy had succeeded. She continued to look around, trying to find the albino seeker, and finally landed her eyes on Valentin's backside. After that it seemed that the action had stopped, so Aida pulled back from the binoculars, looked the contraption over once more, and then handed them back to the one who looked the most interested– Sylvain. At that point Aida realized that the young mage was offering the group what appeared to be candies. Naturally, Aida’s curiosity would compel her to oblige.
Taking a bean from Sylvain’s hand, Aida inspected it with eyes that had never seen a jelly bean before. Aida hadn’t exactly lived in a cave her whole life, but that was not terribly far from the truth either. Biting down on half of it to inspect the interior, Aida’s mouth filled with a familiar flavor. Squinting as she chewed on that half, her head cocked to the side. “Is this… liver?” it was a strange choice for something that apparently wasn’t a candy after all. “Is this a nutritional… pill?” she asked, confused. Then, without warning, the owl on Aida’s shoulder began to flap its wings demandingly. Its talons squeezed her a bit gruffly, and Aida raised her off arm for the medium-sized bird to step onto. Apparently ZaZa wanted a bean too, and as Aida hovered the bird over towards Sylvain it snatched one of the beans out of the boy’s hand.
With a couple of mashes of its beak, the owl started making a hacking cough, and the bird spat out the bean into Aida’s left hand. Aida eyed the red twisted remains suspiciously. What would become of the bean? Exactly how gross were Aida’s sensibilities? What was the true nature of her and Scheherazade’s relationship? These were fine questions that demanded answers, but one question trumped them all:
Well, the owl had shared with her, so Aida would share in return. Lifting the liver-flavored half-bean up to the desert owl’s face, ZaZa trustingly obliged. Gobbling it down, the bird seemed to quite enjoy the morsel as ZaZa’s brilliant orange eyes narrowed in delight. It gave out a short mournful-sounding hoot as if to thank Sylvain. Aida nodded and took her cue.
“Thank you, Syl,” she said, her tone silvery with a peaceful happiness.

It was sweet, with just a hint of tartness. Apple, in fact. Aida liked it.To what ghastly lengths would Aida go to satisfy her curiosity?

Howard was weird happy. She did not trust it. Too spunky. Too-- She was having a hard time putting her finger on it... He was, just wrong. It felt like a trap. She cocked her mouth to the side as he insisted that the first year chill his drink. Was this what flirting looked like? She was not entirely sure, she had never cared enough about the grinding scene at Hogwarts to pay attention.
He had a weird thing for midgets maybe. Could the girl even see over the seats in front of her? A cold drink now in hand, the air had a chill to it. The Irish girl did not mind the cold, but she could not say the same for those adjacent but F them. Howard was placated and...
Woosh
The game was on, a skirmish for the quaffle and a brazen effort to take eachother down. These players were willing to play dirty. Erin let out a low guffaw, OK this was actually a little interesting. Some really cute guy tried to knock Miss Perfect (Serena) off her broom. That made the guy a little cuter actually. Some vaguely familiar looking guy (Romeo, the twin boy) tried to knock Towers off her broom also. A pair of bludgers would also be sent Serena's way. Somehow that really small person avoided everything. "How!" She complained without spelling it out. How could all of them fail to take the Hufflepuff out. Was she somehow charming all of them! She placed her face in her hands and let out an annoyed groan.
Just a trick of the lighting they said...

Since the day she found out that, because Hufflepuff won the Quidditch cup back at Hogwarts, her house’s team would have represented the school in the match against Durmstrang, Lydia couldn’t wait for that day to come; her excitement grew even bigger when her best friend became the co-captain on the team, and the red headed girl started counting the days that separated them from the match. Once she arrived at the summer camp, the excitement for the game died down a little bit, but only because of all the amazing activities the professors and some students had planned for them, like the welcome BBQ and the Capture the Base game, or the Stargazing night. It was during these events, that Lydia had her first “taste” of the other schools, Durmstrang in particular: if during the base game she had the chance to see how determined the Durmstrang students were, during the welcome BBQ she also found out how charming they could be, as her encounter with Alexander still popped up in her head every once in a while -the young Yorkshire lad definitely left a good impression on the red headed girl. Another event she would not forget anytime soon was the stargazing night; between the stars, the picnics and a certain Gryffindor boy, Lydia’s mind had been pretty busy that evening.
But back to the game.
Now that it was finally there, the young Hufflepuff found herself basically skipping towards the stadium, with the sign she had made for Aaron under her arm. She was dressed for the occasion, of course: white sandals on her feet and a small bag over her shoulder, that day Lydia was wearing a simple yellow dress; her heir were tied up in two boxer braids, and she had some black and yellow facepaint over her cheeks, one yellow line and then a black one (on both checks of course, because symmetry).
She quickly made her way towards the stands and spotted Lizzie already sitting there. Since the immediate places next to her tent-mate were occupied, she walked to the row behind her, before saving some space for the rest of her tent friends, and making sure to keep a spot for Rafael next to her - after all, he did say he would have come, he was probably only running late.
As the stands started to get full and everyone started arriving, Lydia grinned wide once she spotted her best friend entering the pitch, a sign that the game was starting. She cheered loudly and held up her sign as she tried her best to follow the game, Screaming at the top of her lungs when Serena grabbed the quaffle. The red headed girl could feel the adrenaline run through her veins as she observed the scene, letting out an excited scream when Hufflepuff scores the first goal.
“YES!! WE SCORED!!” She exclaimed as she clapped her hands, her face completely lighting up in joy. But that didn’t last too long, because Greta returned the favour and scored one goal for Durmstrang. Lydia sighed and frowned slightly, her eyes glued more than ever on the pitch; it was only the beginning of the match, they could still turn things around and win!

Howard clapped on her back when Opeila managed to conjure a tiny cloud with snow falling out of it and shoved the bottle into it. The Slytherin managed a small smile. She was as confused as she was amused about the two third years. Erin seemed a bit like the... endlessly careless sort of person, taking what she wanted. Opeila was by now prepared to be surprised by her.
The only upper class student she had dealt with for longer than one meeting were Ruka and Gris, and they were second years. Third years were a bit more intimidating somehow. Or maybe it was just those peticular two- the overly strong purple-head and the dhampir boy. Those definitely did their parts.
Both of them now focused on the game and Opeila decided to do the same. She would likely not say anything to the two third years anymore unless spoken to.
Her eyes followed her little Hufflepuff friend in the sky, Willow. She didn't play bad, the one quaffle she let through, she made up for by catching the next one.
Opeila was no one to cheer with the crowed, she was the silent supporter, keeping her eyes on the game, maybe clapping from time to time. And that was what she did.
The Durmstrangs didn't seem to deal very well with the balance of points, one of them foulplayed. The little Slytherin shook her head. This was one of the reasons she still questioned her decision of signing up for the Quidditch team. She was an ok- maybe good flyer by now, the flying lessons were a great help, but she held great respect for the bludgers.

If anything could wake Ariana up on time, it was quidditch.
The level of excitement the gryffindor had peaked was almost dangerous. Her attention span was definitely shorter than usual and she either spoke in tongues of rapid speech or else zoned out completely. Who knew quidditch meant so much to her? Pretty much everyone to be honest, no surprise there.
She had tied her hair back in a long dark ponytail as usual. Swift, yet unusually carefully painted streaks of colour decorated her cheeks [under her eyes], supportive of the hufflepuff team of course. Her outfit consisted of shorts and a loose t-shirt, because well, it was practically an oven outside in that heat. She wore her newish white trainers though, for she found them more comfortable than flip flops or sandals, especially as she was going to be jumping around in the stands.
Lydia had gone down minutes before Ariana had and the rest of her tent were still around, well aside from Lizzie. The gryffindor had rushed back to swoop the posters she had made the previous day from the tent and then dash back to the stadium, [Yes, she was quite forgetful]. As she neared the stands, green hues spotted her red-haired hufflepuff friend.
Strolling towards her, Ariana half jumped, half slid onto her seat, bumping into Lydia gently, a grin on her bright features. “THIS IS EXCITING!” She yelled loudly, raising her arms in the air enthusiastically, before swooping down in surprise to pick something from her feet. “Mira! I almost forgot!” She unraveled the banner she had brought along in support of her hufflepuff friends who were playing against durmstrang. Ariana knew that Lydia was mostly supporting her best friend Aaron, who was as enthusiastic about the sport as Ariana was. The boy was certainly a great friend to her as well and so Ariana would also be showing her support for him with her banner she had made at the crafting event just recently.
It seemed she was the second of their group to arrive. Although this theory was proved wrong as she spotted Lizzie, sending the girl a smile as she zeroed her gaze on the ravenclaw. Ariana glanced down their row, she knew that her cousin was yet to arrive, Rafael. This had been much to Lydia’s joy, as Ariana fully well knew, and she couldn’t help the wry smile that tugged at her lips as she reminisced Lydia’s raving stories about the quidditch captain.
Now Ariana wasn’t one to embarrass her friends in front of each other, and she planned to keep her mouth shut as firmly closed as possible, when it came to the pair. [Which wasn’t going to be easy] Then again, she certainly held several embarrassing stories about Rafael that might be almost too tempting to spill to her hufflepuff friend.
The game had begun and within moments Ariana was already standing up, eyes glued on the players actions, not even caring whether she was selfishly blocking people behind her. Hogwarts had got this. Come on.
She chanted this willing thought within her mind at first, but then suddenly, an audible shout burst from her lips along with many others voices, screams and yells of support for their school. Ariana turned to Lydia, who had also shouted out in happiness, and yelled over the din. “I KNEW THEY COULD DO IT!”
Pride was boldly shown, splattered across the many decorations and banners made for such an event. They had scored. Ariana laughed with a mixture of happiness, excitement and relief.
Her face fell however, as the goal was returned for durmstrang. Ariana leant forward, eyebrows furrowed anxiously. Anyone watching her at this point would think she was witnessing a traumatic death; the way she took it so seriously. However, she had faith in their team. Of course they would do their best. They had already proved as much so far. They could get back at their opponents; what was yet to come only awaited them.

(Playing as dNPC Milosh Rehnquist)Milosh made his way down to the stands. He had wished his friends good luck who were playing in the Quidditch game before the left. Unfortunately he had to make an excuse about having a stomach ache so they would leave before he could bring out the banner he made. With a little bit of help he had managed to make a banner with fireworks that actually exploded (without the loud booming sound of course) and all of their names written on it except Niko but that's only cause he ran out of room, time and he was a fourth string, whatever that meant?Mentions: @Piérre Marchonné, @Evelynn Decipio , @Rafael D'Spacito & @Adonis Thorn

The boy shook off the feeling and weaved his way through the crowd which was hard. It was one thing if he was small and could be sneaky or another if he used his voice but he was neither loud nor small so he just awkwardly shuffled through until he found decent seats. He blinked when a sudden realization set upon him that he was surrounded by a bunch of people he didn't know and had no clue where the rest of his friends were, well the ones that weren't playing in the game.
He had almost missed the beginning of the game but he stopped taking in his surroundings as soon as a sharp whistle sounded, signifying the beginning of the game. The boy vibrated in excitement, not cold because he had luckily come prepared with a large grey jumper and burgundy colored pants. The blonde haired kid whooped as Greta managed to collect the quaffle twice. He was confused since he didn't know that much about Quidditch but he saw she was by herself which was weird cause he thought there were two other chasers. The boy shrugged it off and then nearly jumped out of his seat when he forgot to unroll the banner. 1) "Niko, ya vybezhal iz komnaty, no ya lyublyu tebya! Vy, rebyata, poluchili eto!!"
A small smile came on his face when Greta managed to score once against the Hufflepuff team but didn't do so well on another attempt. He then stood up and shouted as loudly as he could manage, doubting she would hear it anyways. 2) "Ty sdelal velikuyu Gretu, ne volnuysya i prodolzhay!" The boy knew she was feeling down, even from as far away as he was. Even if she couldn't hear him he decided to start excessively shaking the banner, drawing some strange looks from people in the stands near him. Maybe the little wave of fireworks would cheer her up if she looked up into the stands. But then again he didn't want to distract her from the game.
His smile slowly disappeared when Hanzo decided to do foul play on one of the Hufflepuff chasers. He had to admit, Durmstrang's Quidditch strategy was very.. violent. The boy had never seen a Quidditch match before so he didn't know if this was their normal or not. Either way he wasn't much a fan of foul play or cheating so he was slightly angered by his friend's actions. 3) "Hanzo, ty, dolzhno byt', shutish', ne pytaysya otpravit' kogo-nibud' v bol'nitsu, eto nichego ne pomozhet!" He clucked his tongue in a scolding manner at the boy before turning his attention elsewhere.
His eyes scanned the other side of the large field and saw Romeo guarding the hoops, or at least he was. Suddenly he disappeared from his position just as a quaffle soared through the hoop. Milo furrowed his brows and saw him try to attack another player. 4) "Chto, chert voz'mi, Romeo ?! Obman nichego ne reshayet." He felt ashamed of his friend but then again he was probably only following the captain's instructions. Still, it cost them a goal so now the teams were even score wise. Suddenly he felt guilty about yelling at his friend even though he probably couldn't hear it. The boy had to do a penalty lap anyways so he had time to think about his actions.
Milosh shook his head at how the game was going so far. Sure they had scored but their plays were dirty. He didn't know what to think and he shuddered when there were lots of angry yells or gasps in the stand around him from Hogwarts students. He decided to set his banner down and just continue silently watch the game. A lot happened already and it was only round one. He needed to collect his thoughts.
1) "Niko I ran out of room but I love you! You guys got this!!"
2)"You did great Greta, don't worry and keep it up!"
3) "Hanzo you've got to be kidding me, don't try and send anyone to the hospital that won't help anything!"
4) "What the hell is Romeo?! Cheating solves nothing."

Noticing that the boy who startled her before was apparently accompanied by one of his friends, Heather's attention turned fully towards the two of them, forgetting for a second about the game. "Hello, miss!" As the tall girl moved in closer to the group, she nodded in greeting, smiling. "Sorry if we startled you, we Russians are-" The foreign boy didn't finish his sentence, though, as he suddenly jumped onto his feet once more, shouting and pointing at a certain player from the field. Ah, so that was the mystery language, after all. Before, Heather wasn't sure if they were speaking in Russian or Bulgarian, but now she had the confirmation.
The boy started blending both Russian and English words, and even though the blonde girl didn't manage to figure out what he really meant, she understood that one of the players, named Slava, was his brother. Heather couldn't help but smile at this boy's support for his sibling; his excitement was contagious. Also, this feeling hit a bit home for her, as the girl herself and her own sisters didn't really have a relationship at all; whenever she met siblings who were really close, she couldn't feel but to feel both happy for them, and bitter for herself. Swallowing, the girl's eyes trailed towards the filed, as she followed Slava with her gaze- he was one of the beaters, and he clearly did a good job; no one could deny that Durmstrang had a very strong team. However, Heather's beloved Hufflepuffs weren't below; currently, both teams had an equal score, and no one could know for sure how would the game continue from there.
In the background, the Ravenclaw could hear the two Russians speaking about something, but she didn't bother to pay attention to it too much- there was no way she could ever manage to get what are they saying. Though, Heather turned her head once more back to the pair, as Slava's brother suddenly spoke in English. "So! What's your name, miss? I am Maksim, and he is Rudolf." Smiling warmly, Heather remarked mentally that the boys' names sounded really nice- and now that she had a chance to look better at them, she noticed that they both were quite handsome, too. "I'm Heather, it's nice to meet you guys." The girl replied, extending her hand confidently. At first, she was a bit shy, anxiously thinking that she might have intruded on their conversation, but as Maksim seemed pretty welcoming, she slowly got assured that it wasn't the case.
"We're from Durmstrang, as you can probably see. Where are you from, miss?" Raising an eyebrow, the girl wondered for a moment if the colour of her clothes didn't give away the answer, but even though yellow was the Hufflepuff's color- it didn't mean that only the badgers could dress up in it. "I'm from Hogwarts, so some might say that right now we are rivals," Heather said, albeit a bit teasingly. "Though I don't really care about that. Both teams are pretty amazing since they got here, after all, and as a spectator, I will enjoy the game no matter the outcome..." Trailing off, Heather turned her eyes once more to the field, looking after Slava and pointing at him. "From what I understand that is your brother, right? He really is a great player, you have all reasons to be proud of him."
Smiling sweetly, Heather turned to stare back at Rudolf. The dark-haired boy didn't look as friendly as his friend, though; he seemed to be quite displeased by something, but the girl hoped it was just his normal posture- she didn't exactly do anything wrong to anger the boy, at least not yet. Either way, he was friends with Maksim, and judging by how nice the boy seemed to be, Heather hoped she wouldn't have to worry about their conversation.

“I’m fine, no need to make a scene about it. Probably better you look after yourself, you’re going to feel that little fall tomorrow,” the girl told him, completely shoving any focus or concern away from herself.
So he hadn't hurt her at all. He breathed a sigh of relief, then touched a hand to his forehead. Now that he wasn't so concerned about her, he became more aware of the pain where his face had found the ground. He could feel the beginnings of a headache coming on.
"Forget about tomorrow. I feel it just fine now," he mumbled, mostly to himself. The pins and needles persisted in the arm he had smacked against the bench, which he now rested in his lap.
But Marshal was never one to whine much about his own injuries in front of someone, particularly when that someone was a member of the fairer sex. So instead of saying anything more about the topic of his personal suffering, he decided that he should get the conversation going in a different direction.
"I think I'll survive," he assured her, lowering his arm away from his head and trying to ignore the pain. Then he added sarcastically, "Probably."
Just then, the section of fans that apparently consisted of students from the opposing school, Durmstrang, erupted in triumph. Looking back to the quidditch pitch, Marshal wondered what he had missed; but the announcer cleared that up quickly, stating that Durmstrang had just scored a goal.
Just for a moment, he got sucked back into the game. If he was being honest, he didn't care much about who won - he hadn't attended Hogwarts yet, and had only even known of its existence for a few months - he was just happy to be witnessing a quidditch match live, regardless of the outcome.
Glancing back at the girl next to him, he did his best to focus on both her and the match at the same time.
"My name is Marshal." He extended a hand, offering to shake in greeting. "I'm new to the whole magic thing, but I've been looking forward to this match more than anything else at camp. I can't believe people are actually flying on brooms." A chuckle accompanied those last words, his eyes flashing with enthusiasm. He squinted at her suspiciously. "Maybe you should pinch me, just so I can be sure this isn't a dream. Then again, I'm not sure I'd want to wake up yet."
Was he rambling on to a stranger? Just a bit. He was a talker, period. And that would probably never change.
He continued, a tone of sarcasm coating his words, "So, aside from tripping blundering and uncoordinated strangers, what do you do for fun around here? I suppose watching quidditch is one option."
Would this girl be interested in being friends with a clumsy oaf such as him? That remained to be seen, but he was certainly going to find out. At least he hadn't mutilated her foot; that seemed like as good a start to a friendship as any.

Calanthe was not prepared for the announcer’s booming voice to echo throughout the stadium, causing her to drop Sylvain’s rulebook in fright. Only seconds after she finished her attempt at playing Quidditch catchup, the noise of the crowd soared high above the group, energy somehow matching the altitude of the students lapping the pitch on broomsticks. Calanthe’s head swiveled in every direction, expecting to see mosps or some other kind of creature ready to ravage the crowd. She only needed a couple of seconds to refocus, realizing that they were in fact not at a secret event and there would be actual adults here catering for the safety of everyone in the stands.
No, the noise of the people around her did not stem from an incoming danger. It was excitement. The game had finally begun. After picking up and dusting off the book, the Gryffindor turned back to Flash, hoping to catch his eyes and ears over the cheers.
“Thanks, Flash. I want to enjoy the game by understanding it, but if it gets too crazy, I’ll just focus on the crowd,” Calanthe angled her vision back to the pitch, trying to discern what was going on, using Sylvain’s rulebook and the bits and pieces of information she was beginning to remember from Flying classes. Her year at Hogwarts was entirely lethargic, only gaining pace when she had to run back to the dorms after spending a little too much time out after curfew. The hurtling tempo of the Quidditch players and the vitality of the crowd was much more than she had been privy to for a long time and it was bound to get overwhelming at some point.
Thankfully, Flash’s words did a lot to make her feel comfortable, calmer. Her racing heartbeat that refused to let up since spotting Sylvain was finally starting to slow down and she could take deeper breaths. While unsure if her newfound comfort was natural or an effect of Sylvain or his friends’ aura, Calanthe decided to accept the feeling for once. A smile broached her face before it could settle into a resting scowl as a palmful of jellybeans made its way into her vision. The bunch was colorful, reminding her of the brands she and her father guzzled down on game days. She could almost hear her mother complaining, snatching the bags from their hands and replacing them with kale chips or avocado bites.
She picked out one that looked quite pretty – orange with specks of red. “Thank you, Sylvi- Sylvain.” Gods, how long have I gone without thanking someone. I’ve done it – what? – three times in the past ten minutes? What is happening? Before she could pop the bean into her mouth, the witch with the owl drew her attention, labelling the bean as liver-flavored. What? What kind of fecking jelly beans are these? Less disturbed by Aida feeding on the remnants of her owl’s meal and more disturbed by the dangers lurking in Sylvain’s palm, Calanthe noted the satisfied look on Aida’s face as she chewed on the bean that Zaza rejected. There’s no way something this pretty could taste bad, right?
As the bean slid past her lips, the stadium erupted, but the noise of the Hogwarts students around her were less than pleasant. Then the announcement came that Durmstrang had scored. Not totally disappointed that she missed the play, Calanthe bit down on the bean and memories rushed back to her. Memories of playing a little too hard on the Palace Pier, of going to swim right after eating, ignoring the warnings of her parents. Is this… vomit-flavored?! She hoped Sylvain and his friends were paying too much attention on the game because she would have preferred for them not see the screwed-up look on her face.
As the crowd exploded again, this time for a Hogwarts goal, Calanthe joined in on the excitement, spitting out the crushed bean and yeeting it over the railing while feigning a cheer with her hands in the air. Nobody saw that. Nobody saw that. Act natural. Nobody saw it. But while settling down, her eyes trained on Flash’s friend, Bridget, who had yet to take a bean. She was very much interested in what kind of bean Bridget would get, more so than the Quidditch match holding everyone’s attention.

Flash accepted the square of chocolate she offered back. Unbeknownst to her, they had greatly differing views of chocolate; Bridget quite liked it, especially since, unlike other sweets, it wasn't just pure over-bearing sugar. Fortuitously, Sylvain produced a package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, saving Flash from more unwanted chocolate sent his way.
Her attention was stolen away from the beans and her companions as the game kicked off. Yellow and red darted to and fro, the burst of action difficult to keep up with from this distance. Bridget couldn't imagine how overwhelmed Calanthe must have been feeling, watching it all. She only understood what was happening due to having played.
The match looked promising. Both of Durmstrang's Beaters sent bludgers Serena Towers' way, and an additional two players tried to blatch her, but she dodged every attack. How did she do it? The Seeker also scored Hufflepuff's first goal, only further solidifying how impressive she was. Serena was truly why the badgers were here today, Bridget looking on with her mouth slightly parted in awe.
Granted, she wasn't the only reason they'd made it this far. The Beater she was pretty sure was Saskia, Hufflepuff's former Captain, nailed Durmstrang's Keeper, or rather blatch-attempter. The scoreboard was evened out as the only Durmstrang player to go for the Quaffle sent the leather ball soaring through a ring straight past the Hufflepuff Keeper. She didn't have the same luck twice, her second scoring attempt blocked, but she'd certainly proved her skill as a Chaser. The game would be going on for a while longer as Flash reported no one had spotted the elusive Golden Snitch yet.
Her attention was almost completely diverted to the game, although she wasn't as rapt as Aida. She tore her gaze away from the action long enough to watch Flash eat his bean, which he identified as grass. Bridget had to agree with grass not being a bad flavor; she knew exactly what it tasted like from trying some as a child out of sheer curiosity, and it hadn't been a bad experience. The Slytherin didn't notice Aida consuming the spat-out remains of a bean her owl had rejected, thankfully, nor did she see Calanthe's features contort into disgust as she bit into her bean. Bridget did, however, garner that Sylvain and Calanthe were supporting Hufflepuff from their cheering when the Keeper blocked a goal. They were all Hogwarts students and most likely wanted their school to triumph, but she didn't want to assume incorrectly.
The game having reached a slight lull, the action dying down just enough for her to risk the distraction one of Sylvain's offered beans would likely bring, she reached over, plucked up a random one, and bit into it. Spicy again? The brunette wasn't exactly against spice, but when it came to hot peppers and the like, she wasn't a fan. For starters, she couldn't fathom the why in wanting you mouth to feel like it was on fire. It was also just a generally unpleasant experience.
Washing the flavor down with another square of chocolate, she frowned. "Spicy," came her report. "Not disgusting, but I'm not a fan." With that, she returned her focus to the game, eyes squinted to see what was happening but ears still open to this group she'd been so lucky to come across.
