To answer your other question- In your first year you can apply for either a race or an ability, not both. If you apply for a race, you will get 5 statpoints taken away, so instead of the 35 you would normally get as a first year, you only get 30. Additionally you would only be able to apply for an ability every other year (2, 4, 6 and one for adulthood, I believe), though you cannot apply for animagus or occlumency, if you chose a race. On the good side, you get race assigned abilities (like prophecies for seer or a snake pet for parselmouth for example).Paige Grant wrote: 24 Feb 2021, 21:09 Okay, so after a month has passed? If you decide to apply for an ability in year one, you can apply for an ability every year.
