Biography/Backstory:
Feira Fenwell is a gardener who has 6 siblings and not a lot of friends. She has 3 brothers and 3 sisters and mom and dad. Her dad works for the Ministry of Magic section for muggle artifacts and her mom is simply a stay at home mom.
Penguins and tigers are her favorite animals, and she likes watching TV as well as make artwork using acrylic paint and canvas boards even though shes not very good.
She doesn't really know much about cooking. She is a big time lover of cats. Her favorite food includes Mexican, Chinese and Italian food or anything with noodles. She favors Christmas and Easter over Thanksgiving.
She comes from a very musical family that plays lots of instruments including the piano, and also likes to sing from time to time. However Feira doesn't share in her siblings' musical abilities.
Feira likes sweets and collects snow globes and key chains. Her grandfather who was a soldier in the war, gave her her first snow globe when she was 8. She has been collecting them ever since. When Feira's grandfather was injured in the war, it was her grandmother that stitched up her grandfather's wounds. He was a soldier in the war and she was a nurse. As a thank you for saving his life, her asked her to marry him right on the spot. He didn't really have an engagement ring to give her so he proposed with a gold chain he had found on the ground. She said yes. Now every woman in her family gets a gold chain with their birthstone on it when they turn 10 as a way to remember that day.
First Instance of Magic:
When Feira was 5 years old there was a special snowglobe that her father had kept on his bookshelf high up on the top shelf. Feira tried desperately to reach it and after what seemed like a million failed attempts to reach the globe, Feira started to scream and cry. Her mother tried to make her feel better even though she didn't know why she was crying. Her mother noticed that the more she cried the more everything in the room including the snowglobe shook. Then suddenly the snowglobe and everything glass in the room shattered everywhere. It scared Feira so much that she cried " I just wanted the snowglobe," and ran into her mother's arms. Being a witch gave her mother a serious sense that magic was to blame for the snowglobe suddenly shattering.

Backstory:Pam grew up in a pure blood family and hated her name ‘Pamela’. She much preferred ‘Pam’ but her family didn’t like such nicknames. She requested all the kids she met, usually the kids of other wizards or witches who visited their house, to call her Pam. She loved her life though, her parents and grandparents were kind, they always helped each other and made sure none of the family were in need of anything. Well, this wasn’t difficult. Their family was rich, had a large house with a huge garden with a swing and a couple of benches to work. Pam loved to be here, listening to bird calls, and looking at nature while doing her work. Her parents felt proud of her incline towards reading and studying and encouraged her to read, but also told her very clearly that she had to take relaxation too and not overtax her brain. Her entire family felt she was destined to be a great witch. Maybe not the great part, but Pam was sure she was destined to be a witch. Though her magic was seen only when she was feeling a strong emotion, it certainly did something, something to her, making her feel little more connected to her family full of wizards. Making her feel that one day in the near future, she would be one of them. Soon, she would come to hogwarts to begin her journey.
First instance of magic:Pam’s first instance of magic was when she was four, and had picked up her slate to practice English alphabets again. For some reason, the chalk kept on breaking and she soon got frustrated and flung the slate down in anger. Funnily enough, the slate bounced four feet into the air like a rubber ball and back to the ground.

Vision, a funny word. It meant having properly functioning eyes to most people, or the ablility to see. Seeing... and Vision. Both meant differently to Pamela. It meant her grandmother, to her at least. Her grandmother was a seer, that is to say, she could predict the future, see it, and make prophecies. She somehow always knew whether or if something was going to happen and this was quite useful at times, like one time when she predicted that Pam's mother's favorite pink and gold vase would break, courtesy of Pam's brother, who loved running around the house, when he would be trying to fly his toy broom indoors. This warning was taken, and thankfully the vase was saved. Pam was in awe, what wouldn't she give to have such a talent? It was so nice! You could literally predict the future, and certainly much, much better and more accurately than those muggle weirdoes who called themselves 'Astrologers, fortune tellers' and lot more like that.
Unfortunately, she heard from her grandma that she mustn't get her hopes up that she would turn out as a seer too. It was a very rare skill. Funnily enough though, by the time she was about eight, she found out that she might be a seer too.
That ability showed up initially as a spark of intuition. She would just stop before something bad, as if she knew it was going to happen and her intuition, unlike so many other people she had met, was never wrong. She was a bit intrigued by this. Surely no one had perfect intuition? But hers had never been wrong at all, and it just felt right to trust it, this was weird.
This couldn't be kept to herself certainly, it must be told to someone. But who? Who would understand this situation? The answer came to her almost instantly. Her grandmother! She had perfect intuition and was a seer! Maybe, just maybe, she, Pam, might also be one? that thought made her heart beat extra fast due to excitement and she rushed to her grandma.
"Grandma, could I talk to you please?"
"Why sure darling" her grandmother replied, a bit unnerved by this, she intutively felt Pam was super excited about something and was sort of curious. What would excite her normally serious granddaughter so much?
Pam explained, "I somehow have intuition that is never wrong. It sounds weird, but it is true, and I don't know how to explain it, I'm just at the right place at the right time, intutively knowing whether to move, stay or run unlike almost everyone. Only you have this ability too, so could you please tell me, Is it possible that I will be a seer like you?"
Pam's grandmother was surprised but very pleased. "Yes you will be, these are the early signs of a seer. I wish you luck!"
Pam was ecstatic. She was a seer! Well, now she'd have to put her skills to good use. Predicting the future was serious business.

She was raised in a very strict house. She felt almost like her house remembered her and everything that she did.
The whole house was dark everything from the paintings to the wood around her. Though the paintings, which were of her ancestors didn't speak very much, rarely actually, when they did utter any words the words were mean, one could even say cruel. Ancestors who spoke through these paintings whispered of standards, of mistakes that had been made through generations, of warnings never to make the same ones or face unbelievable shame and loss of dignity. She learned young that the past was not behind her. It was always watching, and waiting for her to make a mistake.
Her family was pure-blood and deeply traditional, they believed that pure blood was the only way to go. Family, Loyalty, Ambition were treated like something sacred, heavy, and dangerous. She was not raised to be loved so much as shaped into something. Shaped into the witch that her family desired not of her own making.
Magic was an early occurrence for her.She was taught discipline and that's the only way she was taught, the only thing that she truly learned growing up. She learned how to hold herself and how to hide, how to fit in.
Despite this, she was not cruel. She understood how easily people could be broken not because she wanted to break them, but because she had spent her life learning how not to be broken. She doesn't her life hiding. When she was kind it was like she was muttering a forbidden secret not like she actually meant it.
Awaiting her letter the house was beyond tense. They were all already expecting her to be accepted. As soon as it did arrive she knew that she would never be free from her past, from the cruelty and abuse, that she never truly would be.

When she was around 4 had slipped out of bed before anyone else. Her intentions were unclear, other than thinking that perhaps she should wander for a bit, suddenly feeling as though she's unable to sleep due to the constant feeling of the house always watching her. On the rug near the window, her black kitten was laying there as a candle was lit in the corner of the room. She was going to approach her kitten to pet him but didn't get a chance.
Then it happened before she could do anything...the kitten’s paws lifted off the floor. Before she knew it the cat was hovering a few inches off the ground. It blinked at her, calm and curious, and stayed in the air just for a moment before falling again.
Her heart was beating so fast in her chest she thought it would burst out. She wondered if anyone had seen, but she didn't see anyone around... luckily. She stroked its fur, in an attempt to calm herself at the stange occurrence. The kitten purred, unbothered by the sudden flight it had just endured. This was her secret and no one else would hopefully know. She felt terrible.

There were some metamorphmagus on her father's side. This trait was very rare, and most wizards wanted to have this unique ability, but in Lee's family it was different. Chaewon's grandmother, Hana Lee was a metamorphmagus, but she was afraid of her powers, as she was the first to have them in Lee's family. Hana thought that it was a curse and tried to hide this ability, but it showed whenever she strongly felt sadness, jealousy, or anxiety. When Hana became an adult, she learned how to control this ability and thought that it would never happen again. But after five years, she gave birth to Chaewon's father, Robin. When Robin was seven years old, he attended a private school that taught magic. He was bullied because of his clothes. Robin thought that no one wanted to be friends with him and felt unnecessary. At home, Robin was very sad, and then his hair changed to silver. Robin went to the kitchen, and then his mother, Hana, saw him with his silver hair. She thought that it was Robin's fault because he brought back this ability. Like Chaewon, Hana didn't want to take responsibility, so she blamed her son Robin and didn't say that she was also a metamorphmagus.
After thirty years, Robin got married to Chaewon's mother Jia. She wasn't a metamorphmagus, but that just made Lee's life easier, because if she would have this ability, Hana would have gone crazy. Jia didn't know about her husband's ability to change his body shape until their first son, Oliver born. Robin was extremely happy, because he was a dad, and his eye color spontaneously changed to golden. Jia was in shock, but she was used to dealing with changes. Jia was angry, because Robin didn't told her about his ability earlier. She started to ignore him, but there is always a way out. Robin was also happy, because neither of his two sons was a metamorphmagus.
But when Chaewon was born, Hana already knew that something was different with her. Even though Chaewon and Harin were twins, they were completely different. Harin was a cute, clever, friendly, and perfect girl for others. While Chaewon was silent, rude and often lied. Everyone was mean to Chaewon, except Harin. Twins were very close to each other and Harin was only Chaewon's friend. Parents only paid attention to Harin and Chaewon felt unnecessary for her family.
When Chaewon was five years old, she ran away to the park from home and cried. That day was the twin's birthday, but Harin didn't want to eat the cake without her sister. Parents started to seek their little girl and finally found her. But Chaewon's pupils of eyes were changed. It weren't dark brown like always, but it changed to light blue.
"Oh no..." Said Robin. He was the first who saw the change.
"Is that... Is that Chaewon? Small tears began to roll down Harin's cheeks.
"Robin... Robin, what have you done? Now our little daughter is also a..." Said Jia.
"Metamorphmagus." Robin finished.

Chaewon Lee with her sister were born in Korea, but when they turned five years old, their parents got divorced. Robin with Chaewon and his other son Ray, moved to Guilford. While Jia with Oliver and Harin stayed in Korea. Chaewon was very upset because she knew that she will never see her sister until she turns 18. The life in Guilford was very boring, Chaewon didn't have any friends. She only played with her brother Ray, but then it was time for him to leave home and go to Hogwarts. Chaewon find another activity - she started to be interested in Metamorphmagus powers.
"Dad! Can you change your nose shape?" Chaewon asked. She red this in book and wanted to see if it's true.
Her dad was very happy that his daughter is interested in something. But he didn't like that Chaewon wanted to know more about metamorphmagus. But then he decided that his little girl needs to know about metamorphmagus ability because she had it.
Chaewon still thinks that it was her fault that her parents divorced. She used to it that she will not see her mother or sister, but she always miss them. Chaewon is saving money to travel back to Korea.
Because Lee's family was pure-blood, they were very unfriendly to muggles. Chaewon followed the example from her parents. She doesn't like muggle-born or half-blood kids.

1. Please change your name from Elizabeth to Chaewon in your backstory to reflect your name change request. It will be change after your application is approved.
2. Please elaborate on the reason for the family's choice to send their children to Muggle school. The current reason is illogical and unrealistic, especially for the reason provided, as emotions could be provoked in any school.
3. Since your character's family is pure-blood, please specify your character's sister's disease as most will have cures in the Wizarding World.
4. Please clarify the ages for your character's eye colour changing incident. If this happens before nine (which I am assuming it does), this will be your actual first instance of magic instead of the flower incident.

Delilah Magic was born out of muggle parents, and magic had a tendency to manifest around her long before anyone could rationalize it. She lived in a family where magic was not a secret delight, but just an issue that was hotly debated. Disputes got loud. Argueing parties got tense. The unusual incidents surrounding her did not help, and neither did the impression she had that she was somehow the cause of it all.
Before she was five, home stopped being a place of comfort for her. One evening her being outside turned into nowhere to go, and she held on to the thought that maybe things were not supposed to be like this. However, she was not going to be alone for long. A couple of magical adults found her, took one look at her and knew immediately what was happening. They did not ask her a lot of questions. They just took her in.
Entering the world of wizards felt like a dream. Everything became very fast, new rules, new schools, spells as if they were just normal homework for non-magic kids. Delilah was very cautious with the whole thing at first. She was always expecting something bad to happen, someone changed their mind. Becoming a wizard was a thrilling adventure, but getting relaxing was a painstaking task that took way longer.
In due time, the pace of life decreased. School provided a framework for her. At last, magic dished out its explanations for things that were so far unexplained. Days turned no longer of an endurance. Her past did not disappear but it stopped being the main one. Delilah matured creating a life that was unshakable, enchanting, and, in a way, really hers for the first time

Delilah's first use of accidental magic was at the age of 4, they were with their muggle parents and they were talking about magic. Delilah was saying that they believed in magic. Delilah's muggle parents disagreed and started yelling. Delilah was glaring at their father and they lifted their father into the air. They giggled and their father threw a flip-flop at them. But they ducked in time so they didn't get hit.

Character Background:ReducioBoth of her parents were wizards, so she was always surrounded by magic. At age three, Alice, curious as she was, chased a paper airplane that magically flew through the sky. After the airplane flew out a second-story window, Alice, still chasing it, didn't realize there was no foothold and it fell out of the window. However, she landed gently to the ground, as if enchanted. However, none of her family members had cast any spells on Alice. That was Alice's first experience with magic. After that, several other strange things happened. For example, when her parents were busy with the baby and couldn't watch her anymore, Alice became sulky and locked herself in a room. Her emotions were so strong that she enchanted a stuffed animal that moved on its own and became Alice's playmate. When her sister grew older and had a younger brother, Alice eagerly looked after the child, and when he laughed, small flowers flew around her in joy. And when Alice caught a bad cold and developed a fever, and was bedridden, the temperature in the room would automatically rise whenever Alice felt cold, to the point where she felt hot. Although she had no friends, she played to her heart's content with her siblings, was exposed to magic, and eagerly worked to help her parents and look after her siblings. Although she was a bit of a tomboy, her curious nature and willingness to try anything and everything came from being the eldest daughter and having lots of exposure to magic.

Leizel has had a happy and loving childhood with her parents and two brothers in the town of Llanelli in Carmarthensire, Wales. She is close with her parents and has always had a positive relationship with her brothers as well. Her older brother, Owen, is 13 and is jealous that she gets to experience the magical world. He wishes he had magic and this has lead to some awkwardness between him and Leizel, but he is trying not to let it come between them. Meanwhile, her younger brother, Evan, is 8 and is now constantly on the lookout for anything that might indicate he has magic too.
Leizel's parents don't really know what to make of this new reality in their world. Her father, Gareth, is a physics professor and is not entirely comfortable with the idea that science can't explain everything. Her mother, Anwen, is simply not the best at dealing with change and is worried that her daughter will become so immersed in the wizarding world that they will lose her to it. Leizel has been able to see them struggling with the concept, which has made her feel a little out of place at home. Her parents are doing their best to be supportive as she begins her magical schooling.
Leizel has always been a reasonably good student during her time at Muggle schools. She has had a small group of friends whom she absolutely adores. She has not been able to tell them why she is changing schools, which is confusing to them as they know her family has not moved and her brothers are still in their regular schooling. She fully intends to write to them regularly and hopes she can explain the change eventually.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Leizel was a little bit of a late bloomer when it comes to magic. Her first instance of magic, as far as she and anybody else knows, happened while she was doing a homework sheet, a little after her 10th birthday. She had been tapping her pencil on the table as she was thinking about how to answer something and, when she let go of her pencil for a moment, instead of dropping to the table it continued tapping by itself. She was extremely confused and screamed when she saw it. When her mother came running, she was just in time to witness it for a couple of seconds before it dropped. After that, Leizel and her family started noticing odd occurrences more often in quiet moments like that, or when she experienced a big emotion.

Ada is a brand new First Year in the year 2025. She is a Hufflepuff, which isn't what she was expecting. She's learning to come to grips with it.
Ada is pure-blooded, but her family line grew more sympathetic to half-bloods and then Muggles over time, partially due to falling out of favor with other houses due to power disputes over the course of the twentieth century; moreover as a result of increasing concern for a narrowing family line. By the end of the Second Wizarding War, the Smiths had fully integrated into living amongst Muggles. Not in a hidden home in a muggle neighborhood like the Blacks, but in traditional Muggle housing while using hidden floo channels for their work or leisure in the magical world.
Thus, she was born and raised in Salford, England and has five brothers. Her two older brothers, 17 and 14, are both currently Gryffindors at Hogwarts. She grew up in a busy city high-rise building and learned to be very careful with magic outside the family home. It also means she's as familiar with Muggles as she is with the magical world, but she's not used to fully living in a magical world just yet.
Journalism is a big industry in Salford and growing up around it got Ada interested. Off the top of her head, she's interested in working for the BBC but that's only because she knows nothing of magical journalism. She's potentially open to it, and who knows at 11 years old.

Because she is a pure-blood, her family knew to look out for any signs of magic from the young witch. Still, it took them a while to realize that it was her unintentionally willing her school supplies to color coordinate--and not that they had simply bought her supplies that way. Ada herself grew up using a number of magical items and didn't realize she was the one causing the non-magical items to change either. This was around when Ada was eight years old, so a bit later than the average magical child. They figure it must be because Ada's magic was more about "making things feel right" than responding strongly to an emotional impulse.

Rory grew up in a warm home that blended both Tunisian traditions and British wizarding customs. His father was a collector of magical artifacts which fueled Rory's curiosity from a young age. His parents (his father a wizard, and his mother a muggle) nurtured his interests and encouraged him to learn more about both the wizarding and muggle worlds. His father specialized in potions and his mother worked as an editor for a muggle newspaper. Rory's father helped encourage an interest in potions that would stay with Rory for years to come. Rory spent a large part of his childhood completely enamored with adventure stories, and one of his life goals is to go on a grand quest like the main characters of his books. He was home-schooled for primary school. His parents considered placing him in muggle school, however Rory couldn't keep quite about things that no muggle should know. So his parents taught him English and math (which he strongly disliked), as well as wizarding and muggle history. He spent summers playing pretend in the creeks near his suburban home, often imagining grand fights between him and some unnamed dark wizard or evil knight. Rory ruined enough of his clothing this way that he would have cost his family a small fortune had they not been able to magically mend things.

Character name (First and last name): Riley Bluescar
School Year or Adult Level: First year
Does any Profile Card info need changing? No

Character Statistics:
Remember: you need to register your character to Index within 30 days of validation to be eligible for a magical race (such as part Giant) or have a magical talent (such as Parselmouth) and you need to write a 500 word (maximum of 2K word) application describing how this fits your character (as in describe how they exhibit this magical talent or race) and where it came from (example, your grandmother was a Vampire, you had a distant Seer ancestor, etc.). Once you are registered as human, you can no longer apply for a special race.
-Hobbies-
Riley has a wide variety of hobbies. The first thing she learned to do was read. She read every book in Bluescar Hall’s library. She also wrote stories. As a child, her mind was flowing with story ideas and she loved to make up characters. Riley also loved the arts. She loved painting and drawing, and improved her drawing skill all the time. Riley had a dream as a child to become a dancer, but being a pure-blood, she couldn’t chase that dream. But it was alright with her because she still had music. Riley learned piano and guitar, learning very quickly. And that was very like her, as she learned very quickly.
Family History
The youngest sister of two brothers, Maura had a lot to live up to. The eldest brother was the favorite, although, Maura’s mother favored her for being the only girl. Her mother was very stern, and her love language was rules. Rules to keep you safe, yes, but also complete and utterly ridiculous rules too. One was, “you are to marry who we say, and no one else.” That was Maura’s least favorite rule. But, she didn’t mind until later in life. For her first few years, she enjoyed her life. Even though she didn’t receive any kind of love or attention, she received food, servants, and a sheltered life. She spent most of her time in her room, or wondering outside. Maura had one problem though. This was that she never really developed the ability to love anything. She liked her brothers, yes. She liked her mother, yes. But she never said it, and barely ever expressed any emotion. She smiled, but it was blank and fake. So when she got a letter inviting her to school. She wasn’t excited nor nervous. So when school rolled around, she started off fine. That is, until she met Tristen. He was a first year in Slytherin. He had sleek black hair, and a charming face. Maura fell for him instantly. She finally knew what it was like to actually love someone. But her parents had other plans. They wanted her to marry into another rich family, and didn’t care about how she felt. They thought it was silly that a girl could choose someone for herself. So Maura decided to pretend she loved the one they chose for her. He was a Slytherin as well, and his name was Atticus. He wasn’t very kind, and he had no social skills. Of course, he was instantly popular because of his blood status. It was really hard for Maura to like Atticus, and she became upset that he was the one she was supposed to spend her life with. It was so unfair! She and Tristen had been meeting in secret, whispering about their lives and how they wish they could be together. Maura received news that her eldest brother had run away. Maura was sad, but she had other things to worry about. Atticus had learned of Tristen and grew sour towards Maura. Maura’s life took a sudden turn when she received news of her middle brother’s death. She returned home immediately and was devastated. He was the last brother she had, and now she was the only child. Her parents were heartbroken, as he had became their new favorite after the eldest ran away. Maura realized that if she eloped with Tristen now, it would be less likely for them to care as much. But that thought left her mind for quite a while, until the final quidditch game of the year came. And they won. Slytherin won. Tristen didn’t realize what he was doing, and he straight up kissed Maura. Everyone was surprised because they thought she was going to marry Atticus. Maura confessed to her parents that she wanted to marry Tristen. Surprisingly her parents allowed her to marry Tristen. Atticus was utterly shocked and annoyed, and Maura found it most delightful. Maura and Tristen’s marriage would result in one little girl, Riley.
-Background-
For her whole life, Riley had lived in Bluescar Hall with her parents. She had no siblings as her parents thought she was quite sufficient, thank you. Bluescar Hall, in short, was just a big house with a quite large garden. Some people say it seems lonely to live in a big house, but it was actually quite nice. Riley learned from a young age how to waste time by herself and actually, she enjoyed spending alone time. Her parents loved each other, but they would fight a lot. Every time the argued, Riley would run out to the garden and drown out the world. She would feel the wind on her skin and breathe in the lovely air. There were lots of trees in the garden and there was a hill to climb and relax on. It also worked as a mini launch pad for learning to fly. The best part about Bluescar hall by far, was the library. Riley read every book several times. She felt reading was an escape from the real world.
Character Backstory: Riley was bright from a young age. As a child, all she did was read and ask questions. Riley loved reading. She loved it so much, she read every single book at home. So her mother had to buy books every day. Riley had learned all about magic she could on the early years, so she hadn’t had much to do when she was older. So, Riley took up lots of hobbies. She learned piano and guitar. She also practiced flying (with supervision obviously). By the age of 9, Riley had become quite an accomplished witch. Her mother thought that she had deserved something nice after all of her work. One thing Riley had always wanted to do was dance. She had always thought that ballerinas were just amazing and talented people, frankly. She assumed that with her rather strong legs, she could be a good dancer. But of course, It was highly unlikely that she would able to take a class. Riley’s mother wasn’t very strict though. In fact, she wanted Riley to be accustomed to muggles, as she was going to go to school with them. Her mother was quite unalike the rest of her family. They were pure blood fanatics, the lot of ‘em. Riley’s mother, Maura, was raised in a very stern house. She was the youngest of two brothers whom were both at school already. Maura had received only a small bit of attention because she was the only girl. Maura had a very hard childhood, despite being a pureblood. So she made it her goal the raise Riley the correct way, which was letting Riley choose what she wanted to do. She also wanted Riley to have all the love she needed. And, she was gifted to have such a smart child. Sometimes it seemed as if Riley knew things that she couldn’t have known. Her father liked to joke that she was recalling memories from a past life. But that was just Riley. Knowing things was her favorite.
First Instance of Magic:
Riley was six when she first discovered she was a witch. Riley was still learning to draw, and she was using her mother’s ink and pen. She was frustrated, but because she couldn’t make her drawings look good (a perfectionist yet again). In a fit of rage, little Riley accidentally exploded the ink. Her mother was a bit angry, but mostly delighted.
