I'm not on my staff account rn (whoops) but I have still been uploading from gifyu and hadn't had the issue, it still works fine for me. Can you link some posts where you're having the issue? I can try to look into it.Tina Carille wrote: 16 Jun 2026, 21:27 Hot Take - I don’t really like the new images process. Now I’m putting this here because now the images I’ve uploaded from Gifyu now don’t show on my codes and that kinda ticks me off…
What I think is supposed to happen is that the BBCode
[img][/img] should still work, but we should also have the ability to direct upload things. I haven't actually tried the latter yet, and have only been doing the former even since the change. Thus, I could be wrong >.>

On the staff acc now! Were you trying to have an image pop out from the post or something? Could you show me the code you were trying to use, by any chance?Tina Carille wrote: 16 Jun 2026, 22:00It just like the side images just disappearedLivia Machavariani wrote: 16 Jun 2026, 21:55I'm not on my staff account rn (whoops) but I have still been uploading from gifyu and hadn't had the issue, it still works fine for me. I see some .webp files in your post, those do show up on my end.

Also – I haven't ignored this! I just need some time and I can get around to updating it. Most of these pages are pretty ancient, and not all the site's staff are native English speakers. My assumption is that most of these original wordings came from the OG French staff.Lourine Hoax wrote: 16 Jun 2026, 15:43 I'd like to suggest an edit for the staff's welcome and instructional content on the site, many of these posts deliberately use the term "his/her" to refer to players and characters. I feel this is outdated, exclusionary, and terribly discouraging to players/characters that are referenced with other terminology, especially as this is official content that players are meant to read and reference regularly from as soon as they register. I understand that these will be simple alterations to make as well.
I've listed some instances below; they are only ones I have found personally as there are many staff posts I have yet to view. I'd appreciate and expect the consideration.

However, given that it's not 2018 anymore and it seems to be causing harm, I'll gladly comb through at least the pages you've provided and make updates. I should have time tomorrow. Glad to make things feel a bit more inclusive.

No worries at all! You were actually quite quick in your response, I hadn't expected anything to be done about it so soon. I figured it was an older generation of staff as well, a translation issue would be good reasoning.Jessamine Lancaster wrote: 16 Jun 2026, 22:33Also – I haven't ignored this! I will add, though it adds nothing to the conversation or to what will be done..
1) We only just added the gender neutral stuff five years ago I think? You used to not be able to see the opposite gender's dorms. Honestly, I'm glad someone was reading the rules to point it out, tells me someone was reading them XD
2) According to my English teacher that I had for English Comp II in college, she said that the old exams for English used to include writing and would not accept they/them in regards to a singular person or individual, like you might now. He/She, Him/Her.. yk is used a lot with the older generation and stuff. They being used was considered grammatically incorrect and followed the older prescriptive grammar rules. Singular they is centuries old but it seems like formal institutions would not accept it until fairly recently. That being said, older generations were taught that singular they was wrong, so they default to he/him or she/her.
-- I'm guilty of this guys, I am aware of my faults, but when i'm talking about someone I don't know I just assume male even if that isn't always the case.
So, as I originally said, I'm glad you brought it up, and I did not mean to have this used as a conversation starter, just wanted to say I'm happy you were pointing it out.

Hi everyone,
so @Ophelia Vanderbilt is too scared to ask idk why.
She wanted to know if making secret passages would be possible since she's aware it would be a lot of work. By secret passage she means places like "The one eyed witch passage" for example.
