Yash had a small family of himself, his father, and his mother. Yash's family was rather loving. He was always loved and cherished by his parents. His father was English, while his mother was Indian, who came to London at a very young age of 19. Yash has the nationality of English but has the looks of an Indian. Yash was always exposed to magic and knew about it as his father was a wizard. He was always excited to attend Hogwarts, but sometimes wondered whether he was a wizard or not. Yash had never met his paternal family at all because they cut off his dad for marrying a Muggle. They highly believed in blood purity. He also never met his maternal grandparents because they passed away before he was born. Yash also had many friends, and due to his sharp mind, he could easily make friends. He also has a golden retriever as his pet. He always loved him and played with him. This is also a reason why Yash was so fast and agile. Despite having a loving family, Yahs always wondered how his grandparents would be. Alex also wanted to be an Auror because he had heard about one of the greatest Aurors, Alastor Moody, from his dad. He also wanted to catch dark wizards. He also researched different Aurors like Kingsley Shacklebolt, Nymphadora Tonks, and Frank Longbottom.

Yash was 8 when the first incident of magic happened with him. Yash had a small friend group of 6 friends, among whom a particular boy was never liked. He was always pushing and bullying Yash, despite not having good control over his anger, and Yash never said anything. On his 8th birthday, Yash was very excited. His mother especially baked and decorated a cake for him, which he showed to everyone proudly. During this time, he boy was also trying to push and bully Yash. To irritate Yash, the boy knocked the cake intentionally. As the cake was falling, Yash just closed his eyes in horror and stretched out his arm. For a few minutes, when he didn't hear anything, he slowly but hesitantly opened his eyes and saw that the cake was floating exactly where his hand was outstretched. Before he could react or do something, his father shouted in excitement, which scared him, and the cake fell, followed by his fainting. The cake was still ruined, but he got to know something new about himself. Later, his dad told him about the magic and how he just used magic, but on that one date, he couldn't figure out whether it was because of exhaustion or the horror, or the overwhelming amusement of witnessing magic by himself. Later, at the age of 11, he received his letter from Hogwarts.

ReducioThe funeral of Gisële Aurebach, Cosima’s great-grandmother, had been held on a chilly, overcast morning at the Aurebach manor in Sevenoaks. The atmosphere was polite yet tense, each relative's eye glinting with thought of even a sliver of Gisële's inheritance. Whispered negotiations and veiled insults carried on the wind, while a then six-year old Cosima remained unconcerned with the grandeur of the event, her focus primarily on the stiff cotton black dress that was itching her skin.
Among the assembled family was Emil Aurebach, an ostracized distant cousin known more for his ambition than any filial loyalty. He had gotten himself expelled from Hogwarts after running illegal betting on student-duels, had been stripped of the family name, and left with no money, resulting in a life of business with unscrupulous wizards. This life of eventually resulting in Emil owing quite a hefty debt to a big-name wizard, leaving him vulnerable. He had been in hiding in Ireland since, but when the news of the family matriarch passing reached him while at a pub one night, his power-hungry self couldn't resist the slim opportunity of some galleons and gold.
Emil’s family had little knowledge of the danger he was in, assuming his absences were merely youthful indiscretions, and they were more concerned with the optics of his attendance at the funeral. The ceremony began outside, beneath the gray skies, with mourners lining the manor’s grounds as the coffin was lowered into the earth. Rain forced the gathering indoors, but Cosima remained outside, unfazed. She preferred the mud and the freedom to get her hands dirty, her long honey-blonde hair dampening and sticking to her golden skin. She squatted near a puddle, molding the earth between her fingers, entirely indifferent to the solemnity inside.
The had funeral coincided with a full moon, which inadvertently drew the attention of a lycanthrope sent by a man Emil owed money to. The plan had been for the werewolf to transform and target Emil specifically, but as is the nature of lycanthropy, once transformed the creature had no control over its actions or choice of victim. The werewolf had been under the assumption Emil would be alone, as he had been the majority of his time on the run, ensuring that the job would be done.
As the full moon had risen, the werewolf, who had transformed in a nearby forest, was drawn by the scent of human gathering. He had found his way to the manor grounds, ultimately snapping his teeth at the nearest living thing in its path. Cosima, unsuspecting and delighting in the mud, became the unfortunate target. The bite tore through through the back of her calf with a searing heat. The werewolf disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, leaving no trace of its pursuit except for the blood and the marks etched into Cosima’s skin.
She had awoken in St. Mungos, heavily disoriented. Her mother was hysteric- red faced from days of crying, her tears sliding down her face like rain. Her father sat quietly in the hospital corner, discussing feverishly with the medwitch. The diagnosis was clear: lycanthropy. The circumstances of the attack were murky, however, the family had been quick to point fingers at Emil, who had slipped out shortly after a howl had been heard.

ReducioCosima Nao Auerbach-Iori is a pure-blood witch born to Kaito Iori, Mahotoukoro graduate and Japanese delegate in the International Confederation of Wizards, and Ronja Auerbach, a German-English socialite.
Kaito had been raised in Nagoya, Japan, throughout all of his childhood. Born in a small and humble pure-blood household, his father had passed unexpectedly when he was 6. His mother, Nao, took it upon herself to never remarry and place high emphasis on her son's education. Graduating from the top of his class at Mahotoukoro, his interests heavily lied within politics and international relations. He relocated to the United Kingdom after landing a position at the British Ministry of Magic, working his way up to his current role as the Japanese delegate in the International Confederation of Wizards.
Ronja had an easier upbringing. As a member of traditional wizarding high-society, there was emphasis on getting an education at Hogwarts, however, with much less pressure compared to many of her peers. While her classmates often saw her as privileged and shallow, Ronja quietly cultivated a genuine curiosity about the wizarding world beyond the United Kingdom.
When Kaito and Ronja first crossed paths at an international wizarding summit in France, their contrasting backgrounds and desire to travel resulted in an immediate connection. The two married shortly after, with the Aurebach's approving of Kaito due to his newly appointed role.
Cosima has one older brother, Isato, who is currently a fourth-year Gryffindor at Hogwarts, and the family's owl named Squash back home.
When not at the Auerbach manor in Sevenoaks, England, Cosima and Isato spent their summers in Japan with Kaito's parents. The two were tutored from a very young age, although many quit shortly after they took on Cosima as a protégé.
To say the least, Cosima is not looking forward to the next seven years at Hogwarts. From being served everything on a (literal) silver platter endless school terms in a drafty old castle, often too cold to sleep and definitely no Butterbeer to cozy up with. On top of that, she has a hard time understanding how Hogwarts is supposed to prepare her for the real world when everything is contained safely in the castle, resulting in her generally poor performance on exams.
First Instance of Magic: At her brother's eleventh birthday, between the attention he was receiving for another year around the sun combined with the arrival of his Hogwarts letter, to say that Cosi had been furious was an understatement. Although she wasn't necessarily an attention seeker, she had gotten dismissed earlier by her favorite cousins who were visiting to celebrate. She had a hard time comprehending why the focus wasn't on her, and rather her brother whom at the time, she wasn't too fond of. As everyone gathered around for Isato to blow out his candles, there was a loud pop! One of the surrounding balloons had snapped into a thousand tiny pieces of latex. Shortly after, another pop! One by one, the batch of three balloons framing the birthday boy's special moment snapped quickly, as wet tears silently rolled down Cosima's face.

I was born and raised in the town of Athlone, Ireland to a wizard father, Aiden Graves and a muggle mother, Caitlin Ryan.
My father worked for the Ministry in the Beast Division. When I was three years old, he was part of a rescue of creatures from an underground smuggling operation. Someone was tipped off that they were coming, and my father's team was ambushed. Several of them were injured and my father was mortally wounded. He died from his injuries shortly after. I have no memories of my father, only stories that my mother and uncles tell me about him.
My mother is a muggle that works for a local bank. She chose to raise me in a muggle community since that is the world she is mostly familiar with. As an executive member of the bank, she is well respected in the community.
I have two uncles, my father's brothers, Brutus and Chilwick. My uncle Brutus works in Broom-making, and is a proficient spell-caster (At least for spells associated with brooms). My uncle Chilwick works as a Potioneer. They have exposed me to my magical side, and told me innumerable stories about my father, so I am not oblivious to my roots. Since I live in a muggle community, we are very careful to keep any magic concealed.
I was never fully comfortable around my muggle friends, knowing that magic was a part of my life that I could never share. This led me to keep to myself and not get too involved with my peers. Since I was so reserved, I was not able to get involved team sports and found an outlet in self-developmental and solo activities like track sports and martial arts. I also really start to delve into reading, because I wanted to learn more about the world around me. It fascinates me to see how things work, both magical and mundane. I turned inward on myself, focusing on my own knowledge and finding my physical limits. I hold myself to high mental and physical standards.

I am told that when I was four or five years old, my uncle Chilwick was putting away some plates in the kitchen and dropped them, while I was sitting in my highchair at the table. They made a loud crash and a protective bubble appeared around me. In the commotion, my mother came running into the kitchen from the den. Once I saw my mother coming into the room, the bubble popped and she came over to check on me. At first, she didn't realize what had happened, but my uncle told her, and she picked me up. We all eventually had a good laugh about it, which made me feel safe.

First Instance of Magic: Aiden had a happy and easy childhood. His father, a wizard, married his mother, a Muggle Korean. They raised their son with love and attention, providing him with everything he needed. Since his family was well-off, he never needed anything.
Born on March 3rd in Bristol, England, he has always had two homes: one in England and one in Seoul, South Korea. He traveled extensively with his parents to learn more about both his cultures and his family. Aiden's mother, Yuri's family, has always been very welcoming to the boy and his father, despite their wizarding background.
Since he was very young, Aiden's father has homeschooled him. He wanted to teach him the basic skills learned in Muggle schools, as well as some basic magical knowledge about their world, as well as the school Aiden will attend: Hogwarts. Aiden had knowledge about the school before he even got to see it!
At eleven, he finally receives his letter for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the same school his father attended. His parents are proud of him, even if his father puts a little pressure on him; he wants his son to go to Ravenclaw just like he did. But Aiden doesn't have the same intentions; he wants to go in the house that will represent him and just himself, not the one that his father wants him to get in.

Aiden had his first insistance of magic at the age of nine. Feira Elizabeth Fenwell was born in Dublin, Ireland on November 17th, 2013 to her mother, Cove AnnaLynn Fenwell and her father,Lennox Ray Fenwell. Feira didn't really have it easy because she was the middle child with 6 siblings: Gypsy Jewels Fenwell who was 5 years old, Tess Crystal Fenwell who was 7 years old, Cada May Fenwell who was 10 years old, Newt Jackson Fenwell who was 12 years old, Simon James Fenwell who was 14 years old and Johnathan Bear Fenwell who was 16 years old. She had a grandfather who was a soldier During the Second World War. In fact the war was here her grandfather met her grandmother. Her grandmother was a nurse in the was and Feira's grandfather was a patient of hers. When she finished saving his life, he then asked her to marry him right on the spot. He didn't really have an engagement ring to give her so he proposed with a gold chain he had found on the ground and her grandmother said yes. So to remember their grandfather, every woman in the family gets a gold chain with their birthstone on it when they turn 10. The family has a crup dog named Finnick and an aquarium full of fish. Feira often got told by some of her best friends at her private school that she and her sisters showed uncanny resemblance to her mother. And that the boys in the family all looked like one another too.
Prior to Hogwart, Feira alongside her siblings attended a private school that schooled both boys and girls. She stayed in most of the same classes as her sisters because she wanted to be able to around when her sisters needed help with their homework assignments since everyone considered her to be the smartest student of her class. Much of the classes were consistent of 5 through 10 year olds on the left side of the school and 12 through 16 year olds took classes on the right side of the school. However when Hogwarts sent her a letter telling her to attend, her parents made the tough decision to pull her from her private school so that she could attend Hogwarts instead. Feira was generally okay with this because she never really made any friends at her private school and she knew Hogwarts would be a place where she could potentially make new friends. However, Feira was sad as well because going to Hogwarts meant she had to leave behind her siblings.
Feira's personality would define her as being very intelligent, smart, and most likely to crack jokes. She is very loyal, and very bubbly. She doesn't trust people very easily because she was hurt by people that she loved in the past.
Some of Feira's interests include binge watching TV as well as making artwork using acrylic paint and canvas boards even though shes not very good. She prefers Christmas and Easter over Thanksgiving.
When Feira was 5 years old there was a special snowglobe that her father had kept on his bookshelf high up on the top shelf. Feira tried desperately to reach it and after what seemed like a million failed attempts to reach the globe, Feira started to scream and cry. Her mother tried to make her feel better even though she didn't know why she was crying. Her mother noticed that the more she cried the more everything in the room including the snowglobe shook. Then suddenly the snowglobe and everything glass in the room shattered everywhere. It scared Feira so much that she cried " I just wanted the snowglobe," and ran into her mother's arms. Being a witch gave her mother a serious sense that magic was to blame for the snowglobe suddenly shattering.

The moment that marked her the most was obviously her mother's death. She avoids thinking about it for too long, for fear of sinking into sadness. Her friends see her as courageous, but behind her smiles, she hides a fragile heart.
The first sign of magic: one day, when she was about seven years old, someone accidentally broke her favorite jewelry box. Furious, Epona saw her mother's vase rise into the air before falling back down and shattering into a thousand pieces. Her father, far from getting angry, simply kissed her and whispered discreetly, "I knew you were a witch."

Azalea was born on 17 November, 2013. She has two very loving parents, Penny and Neil Evans. As an only child, Azalea grew up reading her mum's medical books and encyclopedias, engrossed in the world of the human body and science. She loved learning completely random facts about the world, such as the fact that house flies have 4000 lenses in each eye, giving them high quality vision, or the fact that bananas are radioactive.
Both her parents are muggles. Her mum, Penny is a doctor, and her dad, Neil, is an architect. She is an only child, so her only friends have been the characters in her books and her parents. As her parents are of Indian descent, she loves learning more about her culture and history every day.
As a Muggleborn, the only 'magic' she grew up with was the one described in her fantasy books. The characters made her dream of a life where magic was her reality, and a few years later, it came true in the form of her Hogwarts letter.
Azalea is usually a girl with a quiet temperament, but more energetic while she's with close friends. The smile that lights up her face is something that can only be compared to her joy while reading a good book. She loves reading, especially fiction, fantasy and romance. She also loves to sing, although she might not be very good at it. She's always loved studying, eager to learn new information and use it to understand other topics and concepts.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Azalea's first instance of magic occurred just a few days before her 7th birthday. On a quiet sunny day, she was in school, and during recess, she took her book bag and hurried to the library to catch up on some reading for school. While exploring the educational section, she got distracted and soon ended up in front of the fiction books.
Reaching up to the high shelves, she picked out a few books, and soon got lost leafing through the pages. Engrossed in her reading, she didn't notice the two books from the shelves beginning to shift and slip over the edges. Just as the books were about to fall over her head, a miraculous thing happened: a white cloud appeared over her, and the books fell onto the cloud as if they were landing on a soft pillow, and slowly floated above the cloud before sliding back into their rightful place on the shelves.

She was raised in a house that remembered everything.
The walls were lined with dark wood and darker portraits, their eyes following her as she moved from room to room. They did not speak often, but when they did, it was never kind. Ancestors whispered of standards, of mistakes that had echoed through generations, of names that had been ruined and names that must never be. She learned young that the past was not behind her—it lived with her, watched her, waited.
Her family was pure-blood and deeply traditional, the sort that believed decay began the moment rules were questioned. Lineage was treated like a relic: something sacred, heavy, and dangerous. She was not raised to be loved so much as maintained, shaped carefully so nothing cracked in public.
Magic came to her early, and it came out wrong. The incident was absorbed into the house’s silence, filed away like embarrassing heirlooms.
She was taught discipline, not comfort. Elegance, not joy. She learned how to hold herself perfectly still, how to let her face reveal nothing, how to listen through closed doors. Emotions were treated as drafts in the walls: ignored, but always letting something cold in.
Despite this, she was not cruel. If anything, she was careful. She understood how easily people could be broken—not because she wanted to break them, but because she had spent her life learning how not to be. When she was kind, it was quiet and deliberate, almost secretive.
As her Hogwarts letter approached, the house grew heavier. Portraits watched her longer. Relatives spoke of the school like a continuation rather than a beginning. She began to suspect that Hogwarts was not meant to free her from the past—but to teach her how to carry it properly.
When the letter finally arrived, she did not smile.

When she was around 4 had slipped out of bed before anyone else. She didn't know why she got up but she felt overwhelmed, since she was always worried the house was "watching her". On the rug near the window, her black kitten crouched, tail twitching in the flickering candlelight. She whispered to it, soft, almost shy words that made no sense even to her.
Then it happened. The kitten’s paws lifted off the floor—just an inch at first—hovering as if caught in some invisible web. It blinked at her, calm and curious, and stayed in the air just for a moment before falling again.
Her heart thudded. No one had seen. She stroked its fur, small tremors of delight running through her. The kitten purred, unbothered by its flight, and she felt a secret thrill curl in her chest. This was hers alone—a quiet, impossible power she could hide in the shadows. She never told anyone about this because she wasn't unsure how it even happened herself.

Denise was born in Comrie, Scotland on 16 September 2013. She lives in a poor run-down house in Comrie and lives with grandmother who is loving but poor. Her parents are dead with her grandmother as her only living relative to take care of her. Her life in primary school was normal, and Denise often volunteered at the local hospital and wanted to do good for her community. She also loved plants and biology after her primary school science teacher, Mrs. Higgins, encouraged her. However, one day, she set a girl’s clothes on fire through accidental magic. She was expelled and later homeschooled by her grandmother. In addition, other strange instances occurred such as curing her grandmother of very minor illnesses. Later, a professor arrived to explain everything. While Denise finally understood, her grandmother just did not get the concept of "magic", since the only thing she was familiar with was only “black magic”. Her grandmother thought that the professor was just crazy and thought nothing much about it. However, Denise understood everything. It all made sense to her, and she decided that Hogwarts would change her life. So, after the professor left and a few days later, she lies to her grandmother that she got a scholarship to an elite boarding school since she was always a good student and maintains a facade due to her grandmother’s illness and bigotry.

A girl was asking, "Why are you wearing those clothes again?" She kept asking and started to make fun of her, so she caused the girl's clothes to burn with fire. She was expelled from primary school since the girl who was making fun of her was wealthy and has been homeschooled ever since.

Character Backstory:
Gwen grew up in the small town of Alva, Scotland. She is the youngest of three and her older brothers often refer to their hometown as the "foot" of Scotland. They claim it's because it stinks and nothing interesting ever happens there. Their moniker is a play on "Hillfoots" - the collective name locals have given to Alva and several surrounding towns. Gwen and her brothers, Ewan and Finn, were raised in a cozy home full of love and laughter. Her parents, Kenna and Malcolm Baird, believed in teaching their children independence and a love for the natural world. All three Baird children spend most of their waking hours outdoors, climbing the huge trees in their backyard, or wading in the stream that runs behind their house. Before coming to Hogwarts, Gwen could often be found in the treehouse nestled in the boughs of the massive oak situated between her house and her neighbor's house. This neighbor's house happened to be the home of Gwen's best friend, Evelyn "Evie" Caldwell. Gwen and Evie practically lived in their treehouse, living out fantastical imaginings of adventure and bravery. Sometimes they were swashbuckling pirates looting the high seas, other times they were benevolent queens defending their fortress from the wayward forest knights (Ewan and Finn), and once they even flew high into the sky and discovered new lands beyond their own. Sometimes in the summer, Evie and Gwen would sleep in their treehouse at night, falling asleep to the sounds of croaking frogs with the moon as their night light. In these times, Ewan and Finn would usually wake them up abruptly in the morning by dumping buckets of the still-cold stream water over Gwen and Evie. This usually resulted in lots of shrieking and a chase through the woods until Kenna and Malcolm called the kids in for breakfast.
Gwen is wise beyond her years. She has been said to look at people and see right through to their soul. She has a generally happy disposition, but her wisdom weighs on her at times. Her mind is often running six steps ahead, analyzing everything in front of her and storing memories like files in a vault. She is empathetic and kind, but sharp-tongued and quick-witted when the situation necessitates it.
First Instance of Magic: Gwen's first instance of magic occurred on a particularly chilly late-summer morning. The night before had been one of the last evenings warm enough to sleep outside in the treehouse, and Evie and Gwen were not going to miss it. However, a cold front moved in while they slept, leaving them shivering in their makeshift sleeping pallets. To make matters worse, Gwen had fallen asleep on top of the compass her and Evie often used in their adventures. As a result, she tossed and turned all night and couldn't get comfortable. Ewan and Finn, not ones to miss the last water-dumping opportunity of the season, woke up early on that chilly morning and filled their buckets by the stream. They crept up the treehouse ladder, carefully balancing their full buckets as they climbed. Right before they reached the top of the ladder, a huge crow launched itself into flight from the branch closest to Ewan. He let out a startled cry and caught himself from falling off the ladder at the last second, sloshing water out of the top of his bucket as he did so. Gwen heard Ewan's cry and woke from her fitful sleep just as Finn reached the ledge above her and Evie's heads, preparing to tip his bucket of freezing-cold water over them. Gwen filled with rage towards her brother's endless mischief and opened her mouth in protest of the watery attack. Before she could say a word, she watched in stunned silence as Finn tipped the bucket forward, but the water defied gravity and leapt over the edge of the bucket back towards him! Finn yelped as the icy liquid sloshed all over him, soaking through his pajamas and seeping into the tops of his sneakers. Gwen broke into a fit of giggles at the just revenge as Evie awoke in confusion at the commotion in front of her.
