ok so speaking of spanish.
My tests in spanish in hs were literally verbal test. Make them approach the teacher and speak the phrase, word, translate something without needing assistance.

Also if I had to go to the bathroom I had to say "puedeo ir al bano" (can I go to the bathroom)
