She didn't know what to do. She made mention of someone contacting their head of house or the school in general but whether or not someone listened or passed the message along, Raine wouldn't know. Oh, how she wished that she had an owl of her own. She would have been able to send off a message herself instead of relying on her fellow students. Those with owls were pretty banged up and were in no shape to compose a letter, but maybe one of the more able bodied students could do it. If not, she would do it herself and face whatever yelling or consequences of her good deed later.Interacting with @Allister-Jameson MacAllister
Alas, she was stuck having to rely on others, as usual. But there was something she could possibly do...
Looking out the door of the car, a feat that was a bit difficult as the car was laying on its side, she noticed a few of her housemates laying in the snow. Some were trying to tend to others. Quite a few were still broken in the snow. She saw her dueling captain, strewn out in the snow nearby and she quickly rushed over to him. Badly bruised and seemingly broken, she looked him over to see if she could help in some way. What she wouldn't give to go back into the past and pay attention in Professor Lian's class. That crazy healing spell that the blind professor and Professor Vernatis were teaching would have come in handy here.
For now, she could at least do some meager muggle mending. She only hoped her aunt could forgive her for tearing her robes up.
Finding a tear in her robes, Raine began to tear strips off in order to wrap some snow in them and then wrap the cloths around the sores and cuts on the kid's body, hoping it would help ease some of his pain.

interacting with @Griseldis Edelhardt & @Raine SageA choked cry would escape his mouth as he could finally hear the high pitched and very distressed mewl coming from his companion. He could hear his name being called, though the voice was accompanied by the ringing in his ears he tried to locate it and give it a face. Gris? Where are you, Gris?" he asked spluttering as he fought his way over to Tiger through debris, trying not to fall over it. As he picked up his cat, he could feel him panicky claw his paws into his robes and arms, but the due to the adrenaline still rushing through his veins he would hardly notice especially with the way his body was already littered in smaller scrapes from the explosion. There was even a small cut at his jawline probably caused by a flying object, the explosion happened in a blur but his mind struggled to keep sane and grounded in a situation such as this. He was already checking his cat for any wounds or scrapes, hoping to find none and praying that there was some truth's to cats just being incredibly lucky. "Raine where are you?" he would call out to the girl he had been with moments prior to the explosion. Was she alright? He then also realized that this crash has probably brought more sorrow to others than to him, so now with his sight back, he would scan the area. "How is everyone doing? Does anyone need help? We need to get out of here in case it blows up entirely!" he would shout, alone the thought made his voice hitch. The smoke from the explosion would fill his nose, making him cough uncomfortably as he tried to make his way over to where he could see the majority of students. "Has anyone seen that boy that tried to warn us?", he asked, his voice rasping as he remembered not having been able to find the Ravenclaw. What if not everyone would get out of this wreck? He shook his head painfully, the ringing in his ears giving him a headache as he tried to shove all those negative thoughts away. He couldn't allow those thoughts, needed to be there for the students and try to maneuver them out of this wreck in case that worse was yet to happen.

Break was quite fun, and short, Jay Victoria had decided to stay at Hogwarts for break but on Christmas day their beloved friend Lily Gray had shown up and at that they both went to London for the remainder of the break. Getting back to Hogwarts was not something they looked forward to but it was also not a place they hated, Jay would prefer to stay at Hogwarts than the boring old Victoria Manor. At least Hogwarts was filled with interesting people, meanwhile Victoria Manor didn’t even have Sir Victoria himself.Interactions: Open@Xailah Alptraum
Every time Jay was to ride Hogwarts Express, they would always try to find an empty compartment and sleep. This time, they were rather extra annoyed than usual and decided to sleep under the chairs in the small tight space there was. Jay had covered themself in blankets and was basically a rolled up taquito with blue hair sticking out at the top. To Jay, this was one of the ups of being a thin figure. And just like that, they fell into a deep slumber.
The blue haired student wasn't one for sleeping, though whenever they did fall asleep it would be as strong as sleeping beauties curse, one could say. Except, when awoken, instead of fluttering their eyelashes and being all princess-sy they would act more like an angry maniac willing to strangle the person that had awoken them unwillingly.
Jay rolled out from under the seat, the top of their head hitting something, they then banged against the other side of the compartment. Surprisingly, Jay wasn’t affected much due to being inside a blanket burrito. They were on the verge of waking up, but they told themself, ‘nah… I don’t think I will wake up just yet’ which then followed distant sounds of cowboy noises and students screaming… Perhaps it was sounds of a dream awaiting Jay in their slumber. Jay rarely got dreams, so this was certainly interesting. Just as they were getting cozy once again in their blanket burrito they were basically thrown to the other side of the compartment once again, following a very loud sound a bag fell and hit their torso, Jay gasped and opened their eyes, fear hit them but in just a blink of an eye anger filled them. Like a struggling worm they tried to wiggle out of their blankets, then sitting on the floor and staring at their bag, not bothering to look outside the compartment.
“Stupid bloody idiot bag…” they went on and on ranting angrily at their bag. Jay now had a concussion and their stomach hurt a bit. After getting back in touch with reality, Jay lifted the cloth covering the compartment door window and took a peek outside. They raised an eyebrow in confusion, this was certainly a dream… A dream come true! Jay gets a good sleep aboard the train only to wake up to chaos. Jay rubbed their eyes and looked for their wand, only forgetting to wipe the crusty drool on the side of their face and fixing their lion like blue hair, they opened the compartment door.
Right now, Jay Victoria had no idea what to do, there were injured students? Oh boy, what did they miss?! Their concussion was getting worse, wanting to know more of what happened Jay tugged at the shirt of the person closest to them. A girl tending to another girl, and there was also a cat. Jay made a mental note to get a cat as soon as they could this year.
“Oi. What happened???” they asked her quite frantically.

Her vision slowly returned to normal, blinking a few more times she could finally see the person clearly in front of her. It was indeed Alan and it seemed that he was able to hear her shouting. "Here! I'm over here!!", trying to ignore the pain from her stomach, she tried her best to walk as quickly as she could to reach Alan. And once Griseldis got near him, she patiently waited for him to find his cat. Relief washed over her when Alan did find his little feline companion and he checked if his cat had any injuries. She noticed he had a few slimy slugs hanging on his entire robe. "Erhmm, Alan...do you notice you have slugs on you?", Griseldis decided to just help him removing each slug she could see with her hands. Unlike most girls, she wasn't afraid of touching slugs because they were harmless creatures.Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Opeila Winters
Mentioning @Vladimir Athanatos @Raine Sage
Alan began to look for other people, and she followed to do the same thing searching for other students around the snowy area. He first called out a girl called Raine, another Gryffindor she once knew two years ago but after a few encounters, they hadn't meet again. Griseldis wondered how much she changed now. The elder Gryffindor boy continued to shout around, in hopes that there would be anyone from the car hear his shouts. While Alan was doing that, Griseldis honestly wanted to look for the young Slytherin girl as her priority. Griseldis was very worried about Opeila since she always looked kinda fragile. Every time they met she would sometimes notice the tired or sad expression on her face. It was clear that Griseldis wasn't completely aware of how much trauma she been through yet. Now this life-threatening disaster happened, she feared the worst might had occurred to Opeila.
Crystal suddenly made a few loud hoots and flapping her wings so strong that it startled Griseldis from behind. "What's wrong, Crystal?", she asked her owl. She watched as her owl left her shoulder and flew in another direction, it looked like her owl found something or someone. She quickly ran to follow behind her owl. Then she saw Crystal landed right beside a girl with long dark hair and there was also someone lying there unconscious. "Opeila? Opeila! Is that you!? Hey! Are you alright?" Griseldis would try to shout loudly for the girl to hear her. She really hoped that Opeila was not injured badly and she also had a hunch that the person on the ground could be that Ravenclaw boy who tried to warn them of the danger.

When another door began to open, she twisted out of the way, refusing to fall for the same thing twice (hehe pun). Her breathing quickened as memories of the Blossom Ball and the forest rushed back to her. Panic was threatening to brim over and she had to figure out a plan or it would drown her.
Chaos was surrounding her and things were happening in snippets. Thoughts of her broom were lost for the moment. While she might deeply dislike some of her schoolmates, she didn't actually want any of them to be so horribly injured or die. She was hyperventilating as she began to move slowly, keeping an eye out for shifting luggage or doors.
An unlikely companion answered Ana's demands for information. Aden. Ana loathed her, but if she could put aside her loathing for Quidditch, she could do it for such a situation. The same couldn't be said for the ginger. "I'd gathered the second bit. Taken hostage? By whom?" she replied, the sharpness in her tone more out of urgency than dislike. She certainly had thoughts about Scarlett's assumption that Ana was doing something bitchy or petty, but now wasn't the time.
There was a time when Ana had thought herself to be completely without fear. She'd discovered she wasn't. Take that instant for example. She wanted nothing more than to curl up into a ball and close her eyes until everything was as it ought to be. She couldn't though. If there was anything she'd learned in the past year, it was that nobody was coming to save her, that she had to save herself.
Decipio's words rose above the cacophony of shouts and thuds. "The car was taken hostage, apparently," she called back, her voice raw and not as steady as she might have liked. "Is there a safe way to get out?" Getting out sounded good, and she had to make certain Rafa wasn't harmed before she started making any other plans.
After waiting for an answer from Decipio, Ana continued to shift. People were injured worse than she was, and anyone else trying to find them and help could make more luggage fall. She was in decent shape for the moment, so she felt obligated to at least try to help.
Long story short, I survived

@Galton Lansdale
"Lumos"
Galton, the liability that caused this train to be uninsured would call out this incantation as he moved his wand in a great loop.
"HUGH! Others! Come to the light. This is a good light! Not a death light!"
He would call from the door of the train. The smoke was gone, the blindness had been blinked away. Galton would stand at the end of the broken caboose with his lit wand raised all the same. Just in case his voice was not long enough. In case they had mistaken his light for the headlights of a train coming right at them.
Galton would attempt the moth technique. See if bright lights attract them.

@Starlee Kennedy
She had found not one, but two distressed owls. They should never have left these poor creatures alone during a hold up and a train crash. Borvo and Flutters would likely be forever traumatized by this incident. Good luck convincing them to get onto the train to get back home or into a cage any time soon.
As for their ability to fly, they had been tossed violently about the cabin during the crash. They were battered, their feathers ruffled but they would survive. Just, flight might not be in the disoriented and injured birds best interest.
"Is anyone missing an owl?"
The Slytherin called out. She would tear off a part of her shirt, leaving a bloodied handprint on the lower potion of her shirt. A not particularly long strip of cloth would be liberated from her shirt. It was not a great bandage, not really. The banading charm would have been more effective but she would slow the bleed (half the damage from muggle bandages). The rough, likely lopsided work would have to do for now.
"Can someone help me get these owls down from up there? Just a little lift could do... or someone who is actually good at spells..."

@Opeila Winters & @Griseldis Edelhardt
Vladimir was not moving. Opeila would try to lift up his head and his torso, Opeila was not a particularly brawny young woman so she would find it difficult for her to lift his fallen form. The squelching sensation as she attempted to lift him.
The chilly air would remind her of the dire circumstances of the cold, of the wreckage before them. He would not be able to warn her, to tell her one simple thing -- run away. Not that the girl would listen, not that any of them would. A stubborn inclination defied any logical argument he would have been able to offer.
Wrapped in Flash's coat, the broad-shouldered fourth year might have been a bit too large. The buttons mildly strained, the wool slightly stretched with the burden of concealment. @Flash Holmwood might not want his coat back after this day, that will learn him to ever offer Opeila his clothes again.
Griseldis would call out and rush from the edge of the caboose over to the duo.
"Opeila? Opeila! Is that you!? Hey! Are you alright?"

@Scarlett Aden, @Jackson Valentine, @Everly Charlton & @Elena Jangleton
The first boy to ever attempt to cauterize a wound with a light on the end of a wand. He might have overestimated the heat from the tip of a wand. Like a lightbulb that quickly becomes warm, even hot enough to burn or catch something on fire. Cauterization was something else entirely. That was not really the problem, a failure would have been painful and of course embarrassing. The only true issue being the problem left unsolved, or one would hope with a merciful and benevolent universe.
However, if there was a God, she was an asshole.
He had set himself on fire. The boy was a first-year dictionary in terms of arcane skill, he would utilize his most valuable resource -- his mind.
Somehow both both and cold. Bloodied and wrecked he would call out.
"Hey! Can you hear me?!"
His rallying cry for aide. He really did not have the time to chit-chat, he was going to be downed himself if he was not granted assistance. Everly was nowhere near Jackson, but speaking is a free action. Everly would escape through the flaming doorway, that being the one nearest to her. Ignoring @Piérre Marchonné's fallen form [see below], Everly would rush outside into the cold snowy Scottish highlands.
The train was on its side. She was luckier than some. There was one that was both bleeding and on fire (Jackson), another two that had been thrown from the train in a damaged condition (Elena J. and Marshall).
"Are you three alright?"
No, one had a crushed leg and the other was both bleeding and on fire.
"Help"
Elena responded raising her hand into the air. She was of the three, the least injured and in need of assistance, but she would not allow chivalry to get in the way of what she needed. But she was standing, moving even. She would walk towards the train before she saw Marshall.
Poor Marshall.
"He needs help."
Elena announced. Yeah, there was nobody else that could claim that their legs were crushed by a train. Her first of course.
"Ferula!"
"What... just... happpened..."
Everly would ask.
There was a train accident, you were there.
"W-we need to get help."
Elena replied, not answering the girl's question as the cold started to sink in.
Scarlet would leave the train, walking past the fallen and the injured including a boy who was both bleeding out and on fire.
"Ohmygod, Elena, are you alright?"
Elena was already bandaged up, so it could have been worse. She could have fared like Marshall...
"Sorry for leaving you, I was curious, and there were these cowboy people but that doesn't matter because what happened to you guys? Marshal looks - well - I-"
He looked bad. He looked like he was hurt. REAL hurt.
"O-okay. Do any of you know any useful spells?"

[mentoin]Katrina Walker[/mention], @Piérre Marchonné,@Xailah Alptraum & @Calanthe Choi
Piérre had not expected it had he? That there would be more after the rowdy bandit stick up. After the train crash that rolled them about like loose playthings and spread them out on the ground like jax. Bludgeoned by an assortment of luggage, the already battered, tired and disoriented youth would find himself buried beneath the cloth and leather.
The Gryffindor really did not stand a chance. The only good thing to happen on this day from Athanatos' perspective. The boy could rot in hell as far as Vladimir was concerned.
@Everly Charlton would wander away from the pile of luggage.
Calanthe would not ignore Piérre. She would call out for Katrina for help. She would be able to do something make a difference. Maybe. No, there was no time to doubt. She had no friends but she had peers, peers that perhaps if she gave them a chance could be more. Had they just been 'other people' Calanthe could have walked away, found herself comfortable until rescue. Not had her peers waste their time rescuing someone for the sake of doing so when they could summon help,
She would pull the luggage off the Quidditch player. They were heavy. She would see a battered youth unmoving but still breathing below.
Katrina was not far, Calanthe's summons were effective.
“I’m coming! Calanthe, what’s going on?”
Piérre's battered and bruised body would meet her gaze. The thin boy was no match for the luggage.
“Piérre if you can hear me, I need you to stay still. It’s going to be okay.”
He would not hear her hollow promise. In truth when we say 'they can still hear you in that state' it is a lie, there is only darkness and whatever fantasy or horror their semi-conscious mind had for them or...there was nothing.
“Calanthe. There’s not much I can do. I mean, I can try Reparifors, but I don’t know if it will help wake him up or even help since he's no conscious and I don't know completely how it all works.”
There was a pause. She wanted to cast a spell she did not understand despite the fact that she was taught that very spell. There were several healing spells that were available to students at Hogwarts.
“We need to get him out of here, along with anyone else who is unconscious. It’ll be easier to help people once we know what’s wrong,”
She would cast the spell anyways. “Reparifors!” She had the right intentions, to heal and to change the broken boy for the better. The only problem was, that was not what Reparifors was used for.
There were others that were injured as well in that same aisle, Meenauh being among them. She would find her center in the midst of the chaos, her temporary world turned on its literal side, she would adapt and overcome. She was an experienced dueler, she had an excellent understanding of spells. She just needed to put it all together and think.
Step by step.
First, she needed to put herself together.
"Ferula."
The bandaging charm.
Things were finally starting to turn around. Xailah had her cat, Schrödinger the brave and she had reunited with Meenauh. Meenauh was no longer at risk for bleeding out despite her substantial losses. Xailah would look around and see who else needed bandaging. Piérre needed more than a few bandages sadly, but she could manage Katrina's bleeding.

@Evelynn Decipio & @Anastasia Beckett
Eve would realize that Valentine was gone. That he had likely been launched out the window to who knows where and in Merlin knows what sort of condition. The window, yes with jagged edges would serve presently as a hazardous skylight. She would be stationed on a wall on the side of a door that was presently open. Ana had already left through the door, it would be a lengthy fall but so would be climbing out the window, avoiding or cushioning the jagged shards only to leap off the presently top-side of the train.
Evelynn would call out to Anastasia.
"Beckett! Can you see what happened? Can we get through down there through either end of the car?"
"The car was taken hostage, apparently."
Unlikely allies, at least for the moment Ana would answer Eve.
"Is there a safe way to get out?"
A good question to ask but it would appear that others were finding their way out of the car. One student went as far as to mention that the care might blow [Refer to the Alan Vanes section]. However unlikely that might sound, they did need to organize better. They would need to hole up, defend themselves in case those cowpokes returned. Why did they leave anyways?
A lot of questions, but the girl's mind was tangled up in the damn pretty boy's face. She needed to protect Rafael...
AJ had been flung from the train before it even crashed. While the Hogwarts students were milling about the outskirts of the train, the batteredm, dizzied and lone Gryffindor was left in the cold, unaided while students sought their friends and their pets. Rendered healing to themselves.
AJ might die alone out there.
No, not quite. Raine would see someone, this blurry, distant ant. A bloody, damaged ant. She would leave the wreckage of their train and make her way over to AJ, the injured, sorry-feeling Dueling captain that was barely on his feet.
Finding a tear in her robes, Raine began to tear strips off in order to wrap some snow in them and then wrap the cloths around the sores and cuts on the kid's body, hoping it would help ease some of his pain.
AJ was not bleeding, but he was sore and alone. What he really needed was a hug.

@Alan Vanes, @Jane Victoria & @Griseldis Edelhardt
Gris? Where are you, Gris?"
Alan would think of Griseldis first, before anyone else. In the chaos it was hard to keep track of everything, especially people.
"Here! I'm over here!!"
Griseldis would reply, drawing her attention to herself. She was not far, but between the luggage and the injured, it was easy to get lost. Neither of them were in 'great' condition, but only one of them was covered in slugs.
"Erhmm, Alan...do you notice you have slugs on you?"
Gris would try to help Alan get cleaned up. The moist, squishy creatures would be plucked off of him. Being covered in slugs was hardly becoming of a young man, males were a rare commodity here at Hogwarts, one must keep them clean.
Gris would not get too far in her motherly duties. Alan would find Tiger in the apartment below, terrified out of their wits. There was a pretty girl removing slugs and then there was Tiger. It was an unapologetic departure. Alan would drop down into the compartment below.
To recover Tiger Alan would have to drop into the overturned compartment. That would be easier than getting back out. The crunch of broken glass underfoot, the splatter of regurgitated slug on the floor. Tiger would be displeased as one would expect.
Tiger was not badly injured, just a bit rattled and a bit bruised. Nothing that wont heal after a few days rest. The stress and trauma of being alone in the scary room however would follow poor Tiger forever.
His voice would echo from the compartment below. Griseldis was being interfaced by someone else at the time. Some people can just sleep through anything, the Jorah-slayer, Jane (Jay) Victoria being one of them. They were not one to have a small thing like a robbery disturb their beauty sleep.
“Oi. What happened???”
Griseldis would not answer Jay or Alan at this point, her interest in Opeila and the fallen student outside of the train. [Refer to mention of Gris under the Opeila and Vladimir section.]
"Raine where are you?"
She would not answer, she had already left the caboose and found AJ. A regular Florence Nightingale. [Refer to AJ and Raine section]
"How is everyone doing? Does anyone need help? We need to get out of here in case it blows up entirely!"
Do trains normally blow up?
"Has anyone seen that boy that tried to warn us?"
The only one left at the door opening was a rather confused, recently awakened and likely disoriented Jay.

"Ferula!"
Bandages would erupt from the tip of her wand and wrap around her shoulder. Tightly compressing her injury with fresh, clean, white bandages.Elena casts Ferula
Roll: 12
"What... just... happpened..."
Jackson remains on fire. Flame 2 (double damage).
Everly leaves the train and is proximal (broadly) to Jackson, Elena and Marshall.
Elena casts Ferula successfully on herself stopping her bleeding.
Scarlet left the train.

That spell was not intended to treat blunt force trauma.Reparifors heals the magically induced ailments.
Ferula: to stop bleeding.
Episkey: to heal the cuts/broken bones.
She had cast it well, said the word right and moved her wand in the correct manner. She had the right intentions - to heal. Yet despite her best efforts she would not revive the Quidditch player. His injuries were not magical in nature.Katrina casts Reparifors on Piérre.
Roll: 15
There were others that were injured as well in that same aisle, Meenauh being among them. She would find her center in the midst of the chaos, her temporary world turned on its literal side, she would adapt and overcome. She was an experienced dueler, she had an excellent understanding of spells. She just needed to put it all together and think.
Step by step.
First, she needed to put herself together.
"Ferula."
The bandaging charm.
A stream of bandages would escape from the tip of her wand and make a mitten of bandage about her cut hand. Respite from the bleeding, she would feel better.Meenauh cast Ferula.
Roll: 11
Things were finally starting to turn around. Xailah had her cat, Schrödinger the brave and she had reunited with Meenauh. Meenauh was no longer at risk for bleeding out despite her substantial losses. Xailah would look around and see who else needed bandaging. Piérre needed more than a few bandages sadly, but she could manage Katrina's bleeding.
There was probably no words exchanged, just some glum goth girl with a large grumpy, grey, fat cat in her arms as she somehow also managed to cast the bandaging charm. Katrina's injury would be firmly covered in fresh, clean bandages.Xailah casts Ferula on Katrina
Roll: 17
Piérre remains unconscious.
Calanthe called out to Katrina.
Calanthe pushes the luggage off Piérre.
Katrina casts Reparifors on Piérre successfully, but the spell did not fix him.
Meenauh successfully cast Ferula.
Xailah successfully casts Ferula on Katrina.

@Evelynn Decipio & @Anastasia Beckett
@Allister-Jameson MacAllister, @Jane Victoria & @Raine SageEve and Ana are...talking? Ana is thinking about Rafa, d'aww.
AJ has been mummified by Raine.

@Alan Vanes, @Jane Victoria & @Griseldis Edelhardt
Alan jumped down into the sideways compartment (will need to climb out) to be reunited with Tiger.

When Marshal didn't move nor reply, Valentine was filled with a sense of primal dread. Was he actually dead? It had always been a distanced feeling, watching people lose those that were close to them. He didn't have very many people in his life in the first place, so it was unsurprising that he had yet to go through it. But as he stood, with a growing conviction that the boy lying before him in the snow was no longer breathing, he was momentarily moved to tears. His fists balled up and his body tensed, but what followed took whatever semblance of collectedness he had from him.
It had been a limp and automated casting of a spell he was familiar with. He had done it so many times, yet this was the first that it had gone horrendously wrong in a form he could scarcely imagine.
A red, shapeless explosion of raw, uncontrolled energy proceeded to spread across his body in a blinding fashion from where he had tapped the Extinguishing charm upon himself. His face twisted with agony as the empowered flames ate away at his exposed skin. His vision became blurred and tinged with a sickly red hue. Lips parted, his senses were dulled and he realized that he could not hear a thing. Yet deep down, he processed that he was screaming. It was a horrible, shrieking noise, like a rusted blade grating across a bumpy whetstone. His hands, once steady and controlled, began to quiver convulsively. He could feel the might of many suns radiating off of his very flesh as it devoured him. With a stifled cry, what strength he had left in his legs left him. He crumpled like a puppet without strings, falling onto the ground in a smoldering, shuddering heap. His lungs gasped for life, exhaling the cold winter air. The milky snow began to stain with a crimson coloring that quite literally bled out of him.
He had no choice. The extreme pain he felt told him he was still alive, and it was only if he started going numb that his life was in danger. Valentine had to stave off the approaching shock at all costs. But his mind was already beginning to slow. He couldn't feel himself moving; his senses were overloaded. Was he dying too? All he could manage was to roll weakly from a faced-down position onto his back. The biting snow began to sink into his wounds.
He would have tried to avoid this, but previous efforts had left him all but wasted, and the mere thought of relief from the heat tempted him more than he could resist.

Evelynn opened her mouth, then shut it again as Beckett dipped off in search of… something. Her question had been entirely disregarded. In fact, it had been worse than disregarded, it had been repeated to her. Is there a safe way to get out? Did Beckett think that Evelynn would have asked that very question to her if she had known the answer to that? The redhead could only give her head a small shake. For a moment, she wished Flash was there. At least then there'd be someone else that she could lean on to help her logic this out. But seeing as he wasn't, it seemed that—like usual—she would be able to rely on none others but herself.
Another glance down from the compartment into the sideways aisle below their precarious position still didn't really give her any answers. That said, it did seem to be that there were fewer and fewer bodies in the hall than there had been previously, and their drifted through the broken window the sound of voices that had previously been much closer. Obviously, there was some way out of the train, even if she couldn't necessarily locate it specifically from her spot. And that prospect seemed much more preferable than attempting to climb through broken glass.
With the agility and endurance bestowed upon her by her athletic pursuits, Evelynn leaned forward, placed her hands to either side of the open door frame and eased herself down. Provided she didn't slip or something went horribly wrong, she'd find herself hanging through the doorway. From this new vantage point, a glance was cast first up one length of the hall, and then the other in an attempt to pinpoint any sign of exit. Perhaps somewhere that fellow students were disappearing through.
Of course, the door immediately below her had fallen open only moments before under Beckett's weight. Beckett had managed to avoid falling through it, and Evelynn had no intention of taking her place by taking too long and having her handgrips slip. Thus, swinging herself side to side, she attempted to work up enough pendulous momentum to be able to hop herself safely to one side of it. Preferably on the side of the hall closest to the most likely exit.
If successful, she'd stand by head upturned to the compartment from where she'd just come, waiting to offer what help she could for them to make their own descents.
If unsuccessful, well, she'd be in a might bit of pain in a moment and would have a whole new set of problems with possible broken glass and the need to climb out of the lower compartment.

As she started to point her wand at her hand, she heard the precious voice calling her name. She quickly glanced at Xailah, but she was pretty downed even to smile at her. And she needed to concentrate on the spell. Xailah was not bursting words out like other voices did (whatever she heard from around and from the outside) — she was averagely calm if that could be even possible. All the previous events at the school must have forged a tough personality out of her. Meenauh didn't have that chance, but it seemed her mind was strong enough to overcome the inconveniences like a blown-up train, which rolled a few times and was lying on its side with students inside. Oh, these children.Interacting with @Xailah Alptraum
As her hands were bandaged with nicely conjured pieces of cloth, she heard Xailah's uncertain invitation to get out of the train. The first unconscious question was — why. Okay, the train car was not in the best condition, there were students inside — she looked around — some unconscious, okay. From what she heard earlier, a few students were outside in an unknown state of health, physical and mental. But come on — it was winter, a cold winter. From what she could think — they should get inside, not vice-versa. Otherwise, they'd be frozen if no one would maintain some source of heat, or at least the hot-air charm.
She looked both ways — the explosion side served as an exit, the other side — the proper exit — was occupied by Galton with a Lumos on. He was smart to not go outside. Two exits were not enough for everyone to get in quicker. She'd ponder on it. Little she knew the spell would be useful that early. And she even complained about why would they learn it in the first place. That's why.
She was sitting on the floor, which was actually the door of their compartment. The wall she was leaning on, was actually the roof of the train car, so the floor should be the opposite wall. Opening the compartment would lead to nothing — apart from falling, they won't be able to go out through the window as it was on the ground. The opposite compartment — the one that hurt her... no climbing anymore. And an Ascendio may not end well. So there was only the bottom of the train that was now the wall. She stared at it for a while as she felt Xailah quietly wander off to help another student. She raised the wand with the last practice lesson still fresh in her mind.
"Bombarda!"
An improvised exit was still an exit. Or an entrance.
Action: cast Bombarda on the bottom of the train (which is now the side) to create an additional exit/entrance. Meenauh is not leaving the train.

interacting with @Griseldis Edelhardt & anyone insideAlan had in fact not noticed the fact that there were slime and slugs all over his robes, until Gris had pointed them out. Even if he had noticed with everything going on around them, this hardly seemed like a necessity. He just shrugged off his robe, letting it drop where all the bits and scraps of the train wreck were. Instead of the black school robes he was now wearing simple black pants and a red shirt. He picked Tiger back up and looked around, should they get everyone out of the train? Though the compartments seemed rather empty at this point, indicating that the majority of them was already outside; at least Alan hoped that that was the case, but he hoped there were still a few students within so he wouldn't be left behind in this small compartment, but Alan, careful with where he was stepping and climbing as he did not want to fall or step into broken glass, would attempt to find a way out of there anyway. Or worse, he did not want to cut open his hands by accident. He had to somehow get back to the main area so he would first start by tiptoeing and reaching out to get Tiger up there, reassuring the poor feline with pats and all before he tried to pull himself out of the side compartment and up into the main hall. "A bit of help please?" he called out as he tried to climb out, knowing that he was not the strongest. He knew he was not here alone, he heard people speak from above after all. However he was trying to find aid by placing his feet against to table leg in the midst of the compartment; any help that would make this less exhausting or difficult essentially.
