𝓢izing up the playing field, Amadea was yet again thankful that she had decided to team up with Serena. While the size of the playing field was decreasing exponentially as more and more people were hit, Amadea and Serena were both still standing strong. She still ignored the question in the back of her mind about what they would do if the competition came down to the two of them; Amadea trusted that Serena wouldn't betray her and perhaps they could just split the win together. Still, there were eleven people left and Amadea couldn't think about that too soon. If she was too worried about winning she was definitely bound to mess up.

Her water gun shot directly at the intended target and the boy was out of the game. Amadea turned to high five Serena but then realized that her water gun was out of water. It was time to reload. "I need to go reload," Amadea said to Serena, looking around at who was still left in the game. She hoped that no one would target her especially when she was in this vulnerable position but she hoped that Serena would be able to cover for her if something did happen. Amadea jogged over to the reloading and tried to fill her gun as quickly as possible so she could rejoin the game.

A huge grin crossed her face as she managed to not only dodge out of the way of Arjan's attack but also hit him square in the chest in return. It was a simple victory but she had gotten him out! Serena laughed a little as she spotted him getting hit by Amadea too. Through their teamwork, they had destroyed him and it was hilarious. She grinned, fistpumping to herself at their success. She had no idea how she managed to dodge his balloon but she did and that made the point even more of a victory.

Somehow, they were doing really. Amadea and her were dominating the field. Nodding as she heard her partner in crime's words, "I'll try and cover you!" She replied as she aimed her gun towards the closest target, in the hopes of distracting them so they attacked her instead of her friend. It was not easy since there were many people and she had no idea which one was going to go for Amadea - if any - but nonetheless, she readied her watergun and took her aim. All she could do was her best and that was hopefully going to be enough.

Aiming at the closest person, she fired at them.

Unbelievable! How dare they?! How dare that tiny little 'sister' of his?! He was clearly far superior and somehow she had dodged his incredible shot. Come on, how could she really be that lucky? That was unfair. He was convinced he would succeed. What made matters worse was that Serena managed to land a hit on him in return. And then one of her stupid friends also did the same! This was biased, this was unfair. Eurgh, Hogwarts sucked. Of course Serena had to rely on her friends. Why was he surprised? He should not have been.

Some kid called him out. With a stupidly large grin on his face! What was this?! Hogwarts was clearly just calling him out because he didn't go there. This was dumb! Arjan grumbled, reaching into the bucket that he was carrying. Despite being out, he was not going to stop. He grabbed a balloon and launched it.

He walked off the field, not bothered with this stupid sport anymore - it was dumb anyway! But as he did, he launched random water balloons EVERYWHERE. He was blindly throwing them in his rage, hoping to get everyone out with him. His t-shirt was soaked now. This was so unfair! Unbelievable, this was not how today was supposed to go. He was supposed to - obviously - win and humiliate the others. This was definitely not how today was meant to go.

He was annoyed. And he demanded revenge. So he attacked, lashing out at everyone nearby.

The splash of a water balloon at his back as he kept going- damn, only a life left. Honestly, with his current utter failures that were decidedly not his fault, his attention in the game was flagging. Already, the filled plastic gun in his hands discouraged him. He was a deadweight to his teammate- hadn't been able to shoot even one person. Maybe it was the foreign London summer grounds or the anticipation of heading back to Germany- where he would spend his last month of the summer with a couple of friends instead of retiring into the emptied Frankfurt house as his grandfather kept busy- but halfway through camp he had just felt off his game.

Tucked back by their barricade, he weighed his options. Either keep defenses- which really meant be a meatshield, but they each only had one life left and he didn't know his teammate enough to sacrifice something like that, even in a game- or shake things up a little. By this point, he didn't have much else to lose. Zoning in on the nearest target, he- foolishly- barreled out of the box's safety and took fire. Two shots, quick succession. Because he'd always been the type to disregard the rules and he's been a stickler for them the entire game. Might as well.

If he lost his last life then it better be on his own terms.

Autumn shook her head. Why had Mars walked out like that? What was the "I'm sorry" for? Good grief, this made everything so much more confusing. She snuck a glance at the wix, and realised something. The balloon had splashed all over the Ravenclaw's chest.

Mars was nonbinary, right? Hence the they/them pronouns. Yeah. So, Mars was a nonbinary person who had gotten water splashed on their chest and had then quit.

It didn't take Autumn long to connect the dots.

"Fuck."

She had been so caught up in the stupid water fight, so selfish, so unnecessarily competitive, that she had not noticed Mars. Instead of seeing Mars as a person, Autumn had seen her as a tool to get what she wanted; victory.

Now she had a decision to make; quit and get Mars something dry to wear and maybe even vaguely and awkwardly attempt to comfort them or stay in the game like a ruthless, cold freak who was incapable of sympathy.

As much as she wanted to do option 1, success was important to her. And, last time she had checked, she had been a ruthless, cold freak who was incapable of sympathy. It would not come as a surprise for her to be selfish.

Autumn sighed. She would finish the game, and then she would try and help Mars. If Mars hadn't even left by then.

She lowered her head and quickly and shamefully made her way over to the re-filling station. Raising her water gun towards the Warren guy, she spoke quietly and as fast as possible.

"I'm here for a re-filling."

A water balloon hit Melissa's teammate when he had started running. Great, now we both only have one life left- she thought. she didn't want to be rude or anything but Johannes didn't do anything useful...well at least not yet. In her head, she was just wondering if she should abandon her teammate and find another one or stick with him. I mean, what if I end up regretting leaving Johannes later? Mel wondered. There were so many possibilities so she honestly didn't know what to do. You know what? I think I'll stick with him unless if I find someone else to team up with.

Still hiding behind the box, the gingered peered out. Johannes had run out and shot twice at a random target, probably hoping to get his first hit. Honestly, it was strange how he had shot multiple times and missed the target every single time earlier. Without even thinking, Melissa jumped around the box to get a clear view of who was around at the moment. Then, she shot the same person Johannes had tried to shoot. Who knew if he would miss his shot again and needed some help with getting the person out?

[font= Times New Roman]You know, her confidence had gone up quite a bit as she found a new teammate. That was until they both missed their attack against Ariana. After firing, Aurelia ducked back behind the box and tried to collect her thoughts. Okay, she missed. Not the end of the world right? She was exhausted from the heat, the sun was glaring overhead and the fact that she was still completely dry wasn't helping. "I dare you to sunburn me...", she muttered while glancing at the sun.

But she had to stay in, not only for her pride but also because she had a teammate now and she couldn't just leave. That would be as bad as a betrayal. She watched as her new friend fired again. Aurelia was slightly embarrassed, why was she the coward here. Am I not a Gryffindor? She wasn't supposed to be the one hiding.

Slightly angered she jumped out from behind the box, locked her eyes on the target, and fired. If they were lucky, they could get her out right there. She had to win... she had to... win. Why did she have to win, you ask? It was only a game, wasn't it. But the Gryffindor felt something inside her that was pushing her on. Telling her to win- or else...
