The basilisk. It was blinded and has good senses. It's fangs can be used to destroy horcruxes and are valuable. It was hidden for many years and then struck again. I'm doubting myself so much on this.

I think I may be wrong but is it a PortKey? The dive deep into your past and giving something precious because you have to use an object for the key to work? 😬

A pensieve? It lets you view your memories as well as the memories of others. You can go to all sorts of places depending on the memory, but the pensieve doesn't move. The precious thing you have to give up is a memory.

The elder wand? I'm guessing I wear the scars of my last could refer to the deaths that have come at the hands of the wand... I'm not really sure about broken friendships and family but it might have something to do with he who shall not be named... Being lonely with no friends and family.
