Interacting with @Lark Flaer

AJ jumped with a short sharp yelp as a familiar voice spoke to him. He held a hand over his heart and took a breath. Giggling slightly he met his friend's gaze "Crivens Lark yeh stertled meh." The young scotsman was fearless, but not immune to surprises. He was honestly just glad he didn't tumble into any expensive trophies by accident. "I cannae believe eh didnae even see ya. Wha' were yeh sneakin' aroon'?" He asked her, stifling more laughter. Even though the pair saw each other often he was always delighted when he got to see her again, even though her hair was starting to collect dust. "Eh thenk uf weh dunnae clen thus soon we're gonnae weend up us dus' bunnehs." He joked with a grin.

He assisted the Irish lass with dusting the nearby trophies. He didn't really inspect them closely like she did. He was far more interested in getting the task finished so he could leave the dusty room and go shower. He stopped only to look over at Lark when she started asking him questions about possible future accolades. He thought for a few moments. "Heh, I dunnae thunk u'll beh gitten' meh neem on ennethin' teh do with Quddutch." He remarked honestly, knowing he wasn't particularly skilled or notable on a broom. "Eh thenk yoo wull beh though. Am gonna hulp ye teh beh a' tha vurry least." He smiled towards his friend. "Don' fergit aboo' yer al' pal AJ tha troopheh polusher when yer a whirl feemous Keeper." He chuckled, putting away another one of the trophies.

"Ullthough, meebee u'll lut yoo pullish meh 'Whirled's Greetest Wuzzurd' Tropheh." He joked, immediately expecting some kind of retaliation, like a dusty rag in the face.

The two kept dusting in relative silence for a while, the room was certainly starting to look a lot cleaner as all the students worked on it. AJ and Lark made idle conversation with one another from time to time until she asked for his assistance with one of the heavier trophies. "Aye okee, nay wurries." He happily agreed to assist as he squatted down next to her. "Luft wuth yer knees, nay yer back." He advised her, something his Father had constantly reinforced to him whenever the pair had lifted anything. On the count of three the Irish lass and the Scottish lad hefted the heavy item up and gently placed it back where it was supposed to go. "Phew...eh tropheh tha' heaveh wood guv yeh quite eh bug heed." He remarked, both him and Lark now sufficiently caked in dust, grime and dirt.

It took a good while longer to sort the rest of the room out, however all working together the students eventually got everything back to a nice pristine condition. At least until about a week later when everything would be caked in dust again, what a joyous exercise in futility they had all just partaken in. All of it together made AJ wonder as the five of them filtered out of the trophy room.

'Why isn't there a cleaning spell? And if there is, WHY MAKE STUDENTS CLEAN A WHOLE ROOM?!'
