So Very Grounded
"I'm uh, Eris and I'm caught off guard too." Eris said in response to Kludd's speech. Did they have her? I mean, these were just two strangers in a bathroom.
Why were they so shocked that her family hated her? Wasn't it normal for one's family to hate them, or dislike them? It wasn't that odd an occurrence, was it? Didn't teenagers always go around talking about how much they hated their family? Eris wasn't exactly sure why the two others seemed to think that she needed consoling. She was just stating the facts, although it felt nice to have somebody--even two strangers--care about her.
Following the girl's wordless gesture, Eris sat down on the ground of the bathroom. It took her a minute to think of a response to the girl's question, which had been asked in a very heavy accent.
"Because my mum was a witch, and she went crazy. She decided that magic was evil, and that anyone with magic was evil as well." Eris paused, trying to think of the story. She hadn't really thought about the reason her family hated her in months. She had just thought about how they hated her. "My dad left when I was younger. But yeah, when I showed signs of magic, my mom kicked me out." It wasn't the whole story, but the red-head didn't feel like explaining her heritage, and much more of the story. The basic story was all these two people needed for the time being

Kludd looked back and fourth at the two girls he was sitting with. Krez actually said a sentence aloud, asking the girl why her parents hated her. Which, was good question, and Kludd had been wondering that as well. But he didn't want to be as direct and just ask. He'd been trained by his fathers general closed off attitude about certain things to wait until someone was ready to talk about what was bothering them. Often, that just seemed like the better approach to him, and that's what he tried to do if it wasn't necessarily urgent. Krez had her own way of communicating though. She didn't waste time and just got to the point, which he could admire. She was clearly just as concerned as he was about this girl, though. To certain people, Krez seemed to be very caring. Like a tiny, overprotective mother. Such as the time she'd nearly killed that poor slytherin kid because he'd shoved him into a bookshelf after Kludd had fallen on him.
Looking to the other girl, she seemed slightly confused? Honestly, it wasn't like Kludd could blame her. She was just suddenly being comforted by two strangers in a bathroom. Anybody might be a bit confused in that position. She seemed to take a few moments to ponder her words before answering Krez. Kludd listened to her story, although he didn't feel like that was all of it. He couldn't fault her for not reveling her entire story to them though. He couldn't find much to respond with though, finding himself at a loss for words.
"Wow.. thats- i'm sorry. Is there.. is there anything I can do? I mean, I just, I dunno. I wanna help you somehow..." He told her, looking kinda pitiful. He was trying his best to help but there just wasn't a whole lot he could actually do. He did resolve, however, to be this girls friend. If nothing else, he was going to try and make her world slightly brighter while she was here at Hogwarts.

Krez hadn't let go of Eris' sleeve and as soon as she mentioned she had been kicked out of her home, Krez's grip tightened on it greatly. Her expression went momentarily blank. Not a scowl, nor tears, just completely flat. That didn't compute with Kreszentia. It was already horrible to hear that her parents hated her, but to be kicked out on top of it? How does someone just do that? Sure, it was better than being in a household that didn't want you in the first place, but at least give the girl a place to go. Put her up for adoption at the very least!
Suddenly, an idea formed in her mind that got her moving again.
Her lack of emotion didn't last long, as soon she perked up, looking somewhat excited rather than upset. Releasing Eris' robe, Krez quickly got up to instead hug her with all her tiny might. Well, maybe not all her might, but enough to give her a solid bear hug. Eyes sparkling with excitement and determination, she looked to Kludd with her new friend held tight. "Mine." She stated, the firmness of her decision apparent in her tone. Though they were just children, the tightness of her grip and the look on her face didn't read as joking whatsoever.
