"Do you.. want to talk about it?"@Leigh Nightray
Sen smiled at how nervous the boy looked and sounded, it was kind of cute. The earnest question coupled with the innocent eyes and awkward posture almost made him want to let it out - the fear and his irrational emotions at that time.
Almost.
But stars, the panic overfilling him to the brink of irrational thoughts. Like he'd said before, the dream could have been his worst nightmare. No, the dream was merely a reminder of his greatest fear.
That emotion can provoke action and thoughts, the adrenaline rush and loss of all practical thinking due to that single thing. It's triggered randomly, differing from person to person.
He hated it so damned much it hurt.
Whatever he'd dream not a minute ago was lost from his memory, but the very distinguishable feeling hadn't completely left yet, washing over him like the rocking sea of a great wave.
So instead of taking up the Hufflepuff's time - what right did he have to even waste a stranger's time? - he smiled politely and shook his head a no.
"No... It's quite alright, but thank you for the offer. I think I have overstayed my welcome," he stood up gracefully, dusting himself off and turned to the doors.
"Really, thank you."
He thanked again, pouring his heart into those few words. It meant the world to him after all, none had ever asked him if he needed someone to talk to, this was a first.
'Damn,' he thought, 'all I wanted was to go back to sleep but no, of course not.'
"You know, the human race may be the smartest animals but they're also the dumbest," he said blandly with a deadpan.

@Sen Leaf
Leigh hadn't been necessarily expecting the Ravenclaw boy to open up. His proposal, question, was polite and showed sheer concern. Without holding any obligation of accepting. It simply seemed like second nature to the badger. A side he had rarely nurtured, due to making himself small around comrades and being alone, but revealed a kind heart. When Sen's response came, a warm smile traced itself on his features as fingers fiddled with the pencil in his hand.
"It's nothing. I simply think it's hard to keep for yourself something that's bothering, it's nice to have someone listen to your worries... Hum... If you ever need someone to talk to... Or simply want to h-hang out... You can watch out for chocolate frog escapees behind the school." A sheepish smile and he scratched the back of his head a bit before going back to fiddling with his paper and pencil. A bit absentmindedly tracing over and over the same line, making it darker as he looked up at the Ravenclaw without budging from his sitting position.
The thank you, so honest and heartfelt, had made the Hufflepuff somehow happy. He didn't feel like he could do much to help, but he was glad that by extending a hand to a comrade he could make someone happy. He didn't know Sen at all. Wondered even if they'd cross path again. It coud be nice to make a friend. Leigh finally stood, closing his sketchbook and picking up pencil and melted chocolate frog. He couldn't stay in the ballroom forever. What if a teacher decided to check in there, were they even allowed to be in this room? For the short time they had spent together in silence as one napped and the other drew, it felt nice. He had fun today.
