An orchestra performance? Lark grimaced slightly at the thought of missing out on it. She doubted that her parents would attend... not just from the Muggles who would be there but mainly because her baby brother had a tendency to cry regularly. Even if it was typical of a baby as her mother kept reminding her, Lark still found it bothersome as if he had a knack for timing it at the very worst moments. Plus, if this other girl was going as well with her family... maybe they were Muggles as well? Surely her parents wouldn't let her attend with strangers let alone Muggles.
"-my other friends kind of abandoned me”
Lost in thoughts of Muggles and Hogwarts and her baby brother, Lark had missed the first part of what the other girl had mentioned but caught the tail end of her remark. It made her twinge and think how she would feel being abandoned by her friends and the Order. "I'm sorry.." Was all she could muster after the girl introduced herself finally as Savannah. Lark wasn't sure what else to say, unable to know how best to comfort her but thankfully Toni had steered the conversation to something else.
“Were you drawin’ tha cathedral?”
Lark fingers gripped the journal a bit tighter at the girl's question. Not that she didn't mind it but already being home she had gone through an ordeal with some local boys attempting to snatch it from her. She gave a small nod starting to feel self-conscious. Savannah admitted to thinking Lark had been writing and admittedly it had been a little of both. She had been doodling small wand motions in the corner of the paper. Eyeing the two girls, Lark cautiously stood. Definitely best to not explain that to them. "Ya, just some notes an' bits of the buildin'. It's a nice place ta come an' sit." Wanting to still seem pleasant and not guarded she figured it best to maybe go and rejoin her parents.
"I uh..." Lark grabbed at her bag and slung the strap over her head. "I probable should get goin'. It was nice meetin' ye two." Giving a slight nod of her head she made her way out of the cathedral grounds and back towards the street. She glanced back only once over her shoulder with a smile and slight wave before turning down the sidewalk. She probably would never see the two girls again... A small part of her ached feeling like she would forever have to choose between one world or the other.
Lark leaves the thread.

Interacting with @Lark Flaer and @Savannah Griffis
"Oh yeah, my family is going too! I'm kinda a big fan of music"
Savannah replied. Toni smiled at the girl, strands of her dark brown hair blowing in her face as the wind swept by. "What a coincidence! I hope tuh see ya there." Toni exclaimed, trying to swipe the hair out of her face. However, she noticed Lark grimace as an overall tone of sadness spread across her face and was quickly replenished with a neutral expression, and Toni wondered what was wrong. Perhaps it has somethin' ta do with the performance tonigh'? Toni glanced back down at her snow laden boots, trying to think of something to say.
The longer Toni stood there, the more the cold seemed to seep into her bones. She backed up slightly, stepping out of the shadow of the cathedral and into the sunlight, where she could feel the warmth on her face.
Toni was brought out of her stupor by the Irish voice of Lark. Glancing up, Toni caught the gist of Lark's reply.
"Ya, just some notes an' bits of the buildin'. It's a nice place ta come an' sit."
Toni smiled warmly at Lark. She was very intriguing, and Toni was almost sad that she wouldn't get to know this girl, other than the brief encounter they haphazardly found themselves in. Almost as if fate were teasing her, Lark began her departure from the group.
"I probable should get goin'. It was nice meetin' ye two."
"Same ta you!" Toni quipped back, unsure of how else to respond. But as she watched Lark slowly fade into the crowd that filled the festive streets, Toni was suddenly reminded of her own endeavors. The most concerning one as of now being finding her family and regrouping for the orchestral performance.
"Zeus' beard! Wha' time did ya sey i' wus?!" Toni, almost in a panic, searched for the nearest clock. After a few moments of restless searching she spotted the time on a billboard. Despite seeing muggle inventions often their use of technology still managed to blow her mind every time. "I'm sorry, ah don' mean ta leave ya like this, bu' ah go' ta find ma fam'ly. I'm already la'e as i' is. Was very nice ta meet ya Annah!" Toni called out as she began rushing towards the gates of the cathedral, the snow crunching under her swift yet clunky boots.
Toni has left the roleplay.
