Prim was inwardly delighted when Jack cam up on the chair beside her. "What are we looking at?" he asked, staring out into the dark evening expanse. Prim looked out at every thing beautiful on the Hogwarts grounds. It was truly amazing. The whole ground was covered in white snow, and even though it was only 6:00 PM the whole sky was beginning to darken.
"We are looking at Hogwarts. It was nothing like this at home. I am so, so lucky to be here with people like you and my other friends. Look at the sunset. It's so beautiful. It was just becoming evening and the sky was pink and purple.
Prim then opened the window, letting the breeze flow in. But then out of nowhere, a huge gust of wind flew through the window almost knocking her over. Prim caught her balance on the back of the chair, as it wobbled warningly, then came to a halt. Prim gave a little nervous giggle, then immediately reached up and shut the window.
Prim then, climbed up on the windowsill, with such a large jump that it caused the chair to go flying back, landing with a thud on its back. She sat with her ankles crossed, back faced towards the window, as she looked down seeing Jack's face. He probably thinks I'm crazy.
As Prim looked down she realized that she was about 7 feet in the air with no chair to get down. So she started laughing, and giggling like a madman. Now he definitely thinks I'm crazy. As she sat there on the windowsill of a library in a magic school, Prim realized what a ridiculous situation she was in. She was in the library with a boy she just met, stuck seven feet in the air, giggling like she was crazy. To Prim this was hilarious.
Then Prim had an idea. "Um, Jack? Do you want to go to the grounds?" she asked with a grin on her face. "There's four hours till curfew!"

Jack gazed at the crisp, white blanket of new snow draping the landscape, listening to Prim talk about it as the sunset she complimented stained the frozen crystals with the sky like watercolors.
"Yeah...I guess it is rather pretty," he admitted, marvelling at the sight. The mention of himself along with her 'other friends' caused him to glance at her out the corner of his eye, his expression becoming slightly uneasy, but he quickly let his anxiousness fade as he told himself he was worrying too much.
A new nervousness sprung up in its place, however, when Prim almost fell over from a gust of wind that blew in through the window after she opened up. He was about to reach out to catch her, but she caught the back of her chair as he watched, wide-eyed.
"Uh...Mcarthy? You okay, there?" he asked, concerned by the precarious wobbling of the chair. She seemed okay enough to shut the window, but then she climbed up onto the windowsill and Jack began to inwardly panic all over again. The girl was starting to remind him more of a reckless Gryffindor than a Slytherin.
Her actions caused the chair to fall backward and Jack was just wondering if he should get down off his own to right it when he saw that Prim didn't seem to mind at all. She seemed content right where she was. "Um...did you want me to...fix your chair?"
The girl began to laugh, apparently at her new predicament, so the redhead took that as a 'yes' and got down to put her chair back up on its legs. He admired the girl's adventurous spirit and sense of fun, but it conflicted with his worry of what could go wrong and his own sense of practicality.
Suddenly, she was asking him something new, grinning like mad. "Um, Jack? Do you want to go to the grounds? There's four hours till curfew!"
The fact that she was keeping track of when curfew was caused him to smirk a bit. "...Yeah, sure," he agreed slowly. "But, um...don't you think you should maybe come down from there, first? I'm kinda getting worried you might fall out the window at this rate."
