Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
It's David's first game with the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. He was ready for the game. The last game of the season for the Ravenclaw squad was with the win. He was proud of them. Now he got to play with the team? He was excited for this one. He got the spot on the team as the second string, the reserve for the team as the Chaser. He was nervous for a bit as he needed to impress and made sure that he would be the team player as part of the Ravenclaw Chaser. But right now, he was going to be starting on the bench for the team.
David was taking some breaths for the time being but he was mostly relaxed as he was the bench warmer for the team. He was happy that he got to play with Ruthie, his friend. He was glad that she was playing as the Chaser for the team. He was excited for her and he was excited to be playing alongside her when he got the chance to.
He took a seat with the team and watched as the teams were getting ready for the game. He was hoping that his first game as the Ravenclaw Chaser, the second string chaser would go well. He looked at his teammates and nodded before looking back at the team getting ready for the game. While that was happening, David was taking some deep breaths and was hoping that when he was able to get onto the pitch to play, he would make his team proud.

Bridget found herself once again making the walk onto the Quidditch Pitch that felt much longer than it should of. Similarly to her first game, she was nervous and this time she found herself shivering, although she didn't think that had anything to do with the cold. But despite her nerves, she was far more confident than last game. She was ready this time.
The Slytherin team had practiced harder than ever since their loss to the Hufflepuffs. Bridget had personally done her best to prepare for their battle against Ravenclaw and although she still was far from a great Beater, she at least had the determination to play her part.
Mounting her Shooting Star and clutching her Beater's bat, Bridget took a deep breath to focus herself. She did not want to lose again. It was time to play some Quidditch.

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Thora was back on the Pitch. Actually, it wasn't much of a 'back on' due to the extensive hours of practice she put in to improve her not-so-great skills. The young snek had visited the Training Pitch nearly every day since the last game, where Slytherin had lost to Hufflepuff, of all teams. At first, it had been painstaking to drag herself to the shed, where a dilapidated, sad-looking school broom awaited her. Thora was forced to watch her teammates on their new, sleek brooms that they had bought while all she could use was the splintery broom. But no more. Now she had a Nimbus 1700. Clutching her precious broom that had cost Thora all of her magical money at the time, the petite brunette knew she was ready for this.
In all honesty, Thora didn't have much luck on the Quidditch Pitch. Last game, she hadn't even gotten to play. Then, there was Shuntbumps, which she had been eliminated in the second round with a simple Levitation Charm. But times had changed. She was now the reserve keeper rather than beater, a better fit for her tiny frame and lack of strength. The Hufflepuff team had won out of luck rather than skill, Thora believed. Koko had been amazing, saving every goal attempt from the Badgers. It had been too bad that their Seeker had spotted the Snitch before Dan. But again, the times had changed. The sneks would win this game.
They were playing Ravenclaw, whom Thora knew was pretty good. In addition, she actually knew a few people from the opposing team--Ruthie, in particular, was a first year she had met at the Masquerade Ball, something that she had no intention to bring back to mind. The conditions under which they met had not been ideal in any means and Thora wanted to meet her again sometime. She really wanted to say hi to the young blonde now, especially as she looked a little tired--almost exhausted. That time, however, was not today.
Thora trudged over to the bench, watching as her first-string teammates got into position. If only she could be out there. If only she could play. She felt a little more confident in herself with a month of practice and a new broom under her belt. She could only wish that Koko could stay in the game, though, as she was arguably Slytherin's best player--or, at least Thora thought so.Action || Benched and cheering. Go Slytherin!

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Game day! Jorah barely noticed the cold, his mind was occupied elsewhere, mostly on the game, but not entirely. He watched Ruthie grab her broom and kick off into the air without saying a word to him. She had been more distant since the masquerade ball and Jorah was starting to think he did something wrong. Focus! Jorah rechecked his gear, tightening the leather bracers on his forearms and subtly adjusting his sport's cup. The protective gear between his legs had saved him from incredible pain during the last match against Gryffindor. He was sure not to forget his cup this match, just in case he fell off his broom again. Jorah now felt a dull ache reemerge in his upper back. It would forever be a reoccurring reminder of what happened the night of the ball, the night he fell in love, the night he was stabbed. Jorah rolled his right shoulder forwards then backwards which provided some relief from the pain.
Jorah stepped onto the field, broom in his left hand, bat in his right, and a blue cape fluteering behind him with a large bronze 29 under the name Moussa. He raised his left hand, inspecting his new broom. In the months leading up to this match with Slytherin, Jorah had tried his damnest to earn enough Galleons for a new broom. First, he owled his parents who replied that they were short on money. They had already spent what they had on his fine dress robes for the ball. The same dress robes which were now crumpled under his bed, singed, bloody, and with a hole in the back. Next, Jorah asked around his common room, offering to pay his classmate back by helping with homework, giving flying lessons, whatever he could provide. Despite his efforts, he had still come up short. Then one evening, a particularly large owl flew up to the Ravenclaw common room delivering a large package with a letter addressed to Jorah. The letter read:

Jorah tore open the packaging, revealing a Nimbus 1500! From then on, Professor Griffith was officially his favorite professor. He would help the professor whenever he could. First, by volunteering to join his Frog Choir, not with the intention of singing, but to help care for the creatures. Jorah returned his focus to the game. He mounted his broom and flew into position.Dear Mr. Moussa,
Can't be playing quidditch without a decent broom. I don't think a nimbus has ever failed me, and I hope they hold out for you as well as they have for me. Knock'em dead.

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Winning was one of her few Quidditch priorities and, by any means necessary, she hoped it wasn't a repeat of last game. Sure the Ravenclaw team dominated the game in the beginning, but a few mere points were nothing compared to the value of the snitch. She just couldn't wait to get started. Her hand was tingling, however it could have easier been caused by her strong grip.
Not much had changed between the last game. She came to the pitch bi-daily to simply fly around, studied like a stereotypical Ravenclaw, and anxiously waited for the next game to start. Now that she was here, the sensation of excitement had been washed away and replaced with dependency.
Everyone brought something to the team. Whether it was comedy or points, Emma felt lucky putting her trust into her team. Amazing and sympathetic members were only something to wish for, but here she was, getting along with literally everyone. Mounting her broom, she took to the skies, her bat swaying gently in her dominant hand. Mentally wishing everyone good luck, a confident smile formed and she took a deep breath. And yes, she did mean everyone.

It felt good to be back out on the pitch with his team. As Adam watched the players take their positions on the field below, he started to drum his fingers absentmindedly against the handle of his broom. Their last game had been pretty intense, although they had ended up winning -- and winning pretty spectacularly, at that. Hopefully there wouldn't be that much excitement at this game.
Adam was still kind of hoping he wouldn't have to leave the bench. It wasn't that he didn't like to play, but he had gotten to know Jorah better now, and Emma was unstoppable as their captain. If anything happened to either of them, he'd feel terrible -- and he'd have to live up to the Beater standards they'd set while they were in action.
So as great as it would be to show off his #08 in the air, the bench was a more comfortable prospect. He glanced over at his housemates seated next to him, not recognizing any of them very well. They were newer additions to the team, he was pretty sure. That was good -- they could always use more second-strings, just in case. After flashing a quick smile down the bench, he returned his focus to the game and cupped his hands around his mouth. "GO RAVENCLAW!"

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Game Two, Birds versus Snakes. Both teams looked like they were concerningly close to just murdering each other right then and there, although their attitude was to be expected given the circumstances. Although the Ravenclaws had won their last game handily, the birds had lost to the opposing team once before, in the pre-season. But then, Slytherin had lost to Hufflepuff, which they absolutely could not be any sort of happy about. Which meant both teams wanted hard-core vengeance. Which meant...maybe they should all watch their backs today, because regardless of Slytherin's fierce fall from glory in their last game, Cecily was not about to take any chances. She didn't come here to get knocked off her broom, thank you very much.
But even as she was wary of her opponents, she was confident in her team. They had dominated the lions in their last game, and they were going to do just exactly the same today. As she mounted her broom and kicked into the sky, she looked at each of her teammates. She was lucky to call this group of phenomenal players her team.
This was do-able. They'd be fine.action: preparing to kick snek butt

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Elena gripped her new broom. Why was there a rule against the year you were allowed to have a broom? That made so sense, now her mother’s broom was sitting in her dorm, unused, while this little broom was ready and raring to go. It was a nice broom anyway but Elena was still upset.
Didn’t mean she’d be bad, though, since she was still an artist in the sky.

[quote][quote]Sitting down on the bench, tapping his foot on the floor, Roman waits not so patiently, with his arms crossed, a relatively anxious look to him. The boy doesn't know how to feel as he watches his teammates get ready, feeling an unusual euphoria taking over him; clenching its claws to his heart, making him look down, playing with his green uniform. It’s his first game as an official member of the Slytherin Quidditch team, against Ravenclaw, and he had to stay on the bench.
At first, he thought of complaining (whining about things is his secret power!), but once he got to the pitch, and saw the bleachers colored by the different students, that already cheered, Roman was hit with a mix of anxiety, fear, and doubt, that made him go towards the bench, legs shaking, terrified. He looks paler than usual, and he can only hope that his heart will calm down, as he prepares himself emotionally in case they need him. Let's go, Slytherin...!

Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Taking a deep breath, the little dhampir stepped onto the field. The weather was better than the last game. However, she wouldn't be less dressed for it. Once more, she was fully equipped to the skin. Last time she wore a skin tight overall suit underneath the ususal flying gear. It was white with red marks. Even though people couldn't see it, she knew and that was enough for her.
Swiftly hopping onto her broom she took off. Meanwhile higher up, she managed to tie her hair up in a ponytail. No red strands of hair would distract her in this game. It would be fun if they could score some points. Maybe even win.
Occasionally she'd glance at the sky. The weather was cold enough this time of the year. With some luck, this game wouldn't last that long. The clouds that flew by worked like a nice shield. This should be fine. She'd hope, atleast. In case the sun would peek through too much, she made sure she had a mouth mask that she could pull up to her eyes.Action: Taking position as strategised
