@Wren Caster

Wren, being the excited sort of girl she was, gladly accepted the offer – part of Rafa regretted every offering this. He was still a bit skeptic regarding the whole sushi thing, but they had made a deal. So, he gladly handed Wren one of his empanadas, and took the piece of sushi Wren had generously offered him.
He stared at it for a long time, an inward turmoil going on in his head. His tongue still tingled from the first piece of sushi. Taking a deep breath, and glaring at the piece of sushi as if it were his most formidable adversary, he took a big bite.

It was rather delicious, he noted. Though, it was nothing like he had ever eaten before. This time around, he noticed a few things – it had avocado in it, a food he ate a lot at his home. Oh, and fish. The very smell gave him memories of the fish market, where he and his friends would pickpocket people for their coins. “This isn’t so bad,” he muttered.

Little did he know, Wren was asking him a question. “Hey Rafa? Would you want to hang out after the feast?” she asked. “As friends of course? If you don't that's okay, I will understand,” she added, coming a little close to his face. This gesture gave him a rather uncomfortable feeling. "Only if you give a good enough explanation," she finished.

This comment had disturbed Rafa a bit, but it seemed to be a joke, according to the
other girl. “Erm, yeah,” he told her, rubbing his neck rather awkwardly. Then, he put a joking look on his face. “I’m sure I can fit you into my incredibly busy schedule.”

Another joke, of course – he had only just been sorted..

Rafa had agreed to the offer and after a bit of hesitation had taken the piece of sushi and had eaten it.
“This isn’t so bad,” he had said.
"Good!! I'm so glad! Maybe in the future you can try more sushi. though honestly for an Argentenian person you sure have a very low tolerance for spice" Wren laughed "That was meant to be a joke! Who am I to judge how low tolerance of spice you have. It's your tongue not mine! Wren laughed again. Apparently she was in a laughy mood, which was pretty often she had realized.

Wren thought that since she had Rafa already as a friend on the first like hour of school she realized she probably wouldn't have a lot to worry about making friends. Wren was getting tired and full. It had been a long day after all. She had arrived at her home for the next school year, and she had met Rafa, had been on a long train ride and more. All she wanted to do now to fulfill her day was to sleep the tiredness away.

"Hey Rafa? I think I'm going to go ahead and go to the dorms, I guess we could go whenever... do you think we have to wait? If you think we have to I obviously will. I really enjoyed meeting you though! I'm glad I have a friend especially on the first like, hour of school!"

Wren decided she would wait for his reaction as it was a bit obvious he was enjoying his food.

"Good!! I'm so glad!" Wren told him, a bright smile on her face. “Maybe in the future you can try more sushi.”

Now, Rafa wasn’t too sure about that. He grinned, nodding with a smiling face, but inside he was wincing. “Erm, yeah,” he told her, inwardly forcing it out. “Sure, we can do that!” He laughed at the end. “We could even add empanadas to the mix.”

“Though honestly for an Argentenian person you sure have a very low tolerance for spice,” she told him. This miffed him a bit – Argentine people didn’t typically have a taste for spice. It was a bit strange, assuming that a whole race shared a thing for flame. He almost said something, but Wren interjected. “That was meant to be a joke!” she said with a laugh. “Who am I to judge how low tolerance of spice you have. It's your tongue not mine!”

He let out a breath, thankful for the comment. He didn’t mind comments about his nationality, but did mind when people made unbiased assumptions about him based on where he was from. It was just unsensitive. He shook the thought from his head, trying not to focus on it too much.

Unbeknownst to him, Wren was already talking again. "Hey Rafa?” she asked him. “I think I'm going to go ahead and go to the dorms, I guess we could go whenever... do you think we have to wait? If you think we have to, I obviously will. I really enjoyed meeting you though! I'm glad I have a friend especially on the first, like, hour of school!"

She seemed really pumped about the school year – the exact opposite of how Rafa felt. Rafa, nonetheless, answered with a grin. “Yeah, erm, don’t think we do. You want to go, then? Get a look at what we’ll be up to this year?”

"Yay! I'm so glad!!"

Being an only child, she was used to getting what see wanted, and hearing what she wanted to hear. So it came as no surprise when he agreed with her.

“Yeah, erm, don’t think we do. You want to go, then? Get a look at what we’ll be up to this year?”

"Yes! I would love that! Obviously your Gryffindor so we would be going the same place. Do you know where the dorms are though? I sure don't. I might have mentioned this, but I'm muggle born and I don't know if that would really make a difference finding the dorms"

Wren had this concentration look on her face, like she was trying hard to think how to get to the dorms, even though she'd never even heard of Hogwarts, until a month before her eleventh birthday, much less, knew where the dorms were and how to get there.

"Hey Rafa? Can I finish my sushi before we go?

By this time Wren was stuffing the sushi into her mouth so that they could hurry up and leave. The scene was quite comical actually, and once she got about half of the new roll into her mouth she started to laugh causing little sushi/rice pieces to fly everywhere (which this part was pretty disgusting). Once she had finished this madness and had drank about twelve cups of water she was ready to go.

"I'm so sorry about that Wren said with a smirk That was disgusting and really embarrassing."
