Mean Girls... Or is it? PV

@Koko Riddle | @Aurelia Notrésvace | @Charlotte Cadunt
Nico sraightened her back carefully, her hands still holding tight onto her arms. Her once red eyes had returned to their ice blue state. Even after all this crying, her make-up hadn't budged or smudged. Only the remnants of blood broke the whiteness of her skin. Aurélia wasn't going to talk for her, which Nico appreciated. Being a dampir was her own responsibilty.

The crying didn't stop when the redhead heard her blonde compagnon laugh. It was a strange laugh. One that sounded scarily familiar to her. It was almost taunting and intimidating.

'K-...Koko, I'm...' A bloodsucking monster who has no restraints and feels absolutely guilty for being what she is? That's what she truly wanted to say. How she truly felt about herself. With a soft whimper, she tried to keep her cool. The longer she waited to speak, the more anxious and fearful Koko would become. Was it too late to save their friendship? Could Koko still believe she was a nice, kind, warm person? She had to try.

First, she had to fix her looks. Her slender hands slid in her bag and pulled out a hankerchief to gently wipe away the red. In the end, the only thing red that remained was her red eye shadow. Quietly cleaning her hands, she finally felt ready to speak.

'Koko... I'm... I'm what you think I am. I'm what you probably read in books about... or saw in movies. I-If you- Well I think you know what movies are..' She tried her best not to say anything wrong or to offend her. Even though they had gotten so close, she still knew not that much about her. 'I-I'm a blood consuming creature. I'm.. a.. a Dhampir.' That last word she said softly but clear for the Slytherin to hear. 'I'm sorry.. I understand if you hate me for it... so many people did. But.. Please don't think I'm out to eat people... I'm- This happened at such an unexpecting moment when I was too hungry. Usually I can sustain my hunger with regular food. But.. your blood started to flow at the wrong time.. That's all.. I don't see you as food, nor do I see..' She looked over at Aurélia. '..her as food. If Aurélia hadn't stepped in, I'm not sure what would've happened..'

You're gonna need a bigger boat

The reaction of dhampir’s pretty counterpart that followed was not what Aurelia had expected. Evident it was that the blonde was not aware of what Nico was; a dhampir. Fear of the unknown came quite naturally as an instinct as was it to react to in a defensive manner. She had not the reason to especially since the half vampire only just drank blood from her own wrist but Aurelia could not help feel sorry for Nico.

Friends Aurelia assumed they were given that the blonde girl had been apparently concerned during Nico’s blood frenzy. That all seemed to have changed in a matter of minutes as the girl’s tone was nowhere friendly instead icy and somewhat sinister.

Aurelia would wait for Nico to explain to her counterpart. To what would have happened if the Gryffindor had not step in, Aurelia could only assume that an identical situation that happened at the ball with Kaegen might have impended and an attack commencing.

For Aurelia who had merely took care of this situation, she was done, perhaps feeling slightly lightheaded from the loss of a bit of blood. She turned her attention back to blonde. Only one question remaining, “Is there a chance that you happen to have some Veela ancestry?”
