"Mm, I don't know about all that, but sure, we can go with that I'm covered in chocolate." She chirped, stroking his soft brown hair with a free hand. Right now, nothing could ruin how she felt, not her parents, not those who bullied her, not even the thought of Gem loving another girl.
Because she knew he loved her. And that was all she could ask from him. With a small nudge of his head against hers, she looked up gently, unable to keep a smile off her face. She couldn't tell what he was trying to get across, with him just staring at her like that. He just had that dorky smile plastered across his face, the smile he always had when she looked at him.
"Hell-O.." She mumbled, waving her hand in front of his face. Though to her surprise, he grabbed her face and kissed her lightly, not pulling away. It was like everything disappeared, leaving herself to melt into what was her first kiss. Holding on for a bit longer, she then pulled away, taking a gasp of air upon release.
Let me tell you, it wasn't at all how she imagined her first kiss would be. It was like fireworks, sparks, that sent from his body to hers, instantly filling her up with the butterfly feeling all over again. Though, these we're good butterflies, the butterflies you saw in the summer that flew in your backyard. The ones that you tried to catch as a kid but failed. It was everything magical and wonderful into one expression of affection.
She then quirked a sly smile and lied on top of him, giving out a small laugh. "Honestly, I could do that everyday." She said as she lie flat on his chest, her eyes flicking to the now dawning sky.

It was strange, when she pulled back. He blinked a couple of times, almost like he was trying to snap himself back to reality-- except it was real, and it felt incredible, like it fit. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but she had a fruity taste on her lips, sweet, just like he'd loved. She was his favorite thing, and he liked - no, loved - kissing her-- that was what he learned today. He felt very mature, but also very stupid. He must've been tripping out on dopamine right now, because there were vast amounts of it fuzzing up his brain, making it hard to think.
He welcomed her to lay on him by wrapping both of his arms around her in a sort of hug, relying on his upper body strength to keep himself up for the time being. It was good, having her close like this. It was just perfect. He swore on it.
"I fink we should," He cooed, lightly nudging his nose against hers, only looking up at the sky when she did. It was pretty, a perfect fit to how he felt. He was feeling a lot, but not one emotion was bad-- all those shite thoughts had been swept out when she was around, and he knew she knew it. She could do anything to him, and he just wouldn't mind-- weak in the knees. He was weak in the knees for her, and he wasn't so afraid to admit that.
"Mmm, you think e' sky is tryin' ta be pretty as you?" He glanced at her out the corner of his eye, a playful little grin making its way on his lips. "I can tell it's tryin', it's just not as kind on the eyes." He sat himself up a bit, keeping her on top of him, his free hand resting on the square of her back comfortingly.
What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

She adjusted with him as he sat up, though her head had still been resting with his. She simpered as their noses touched, causing them both to look up at the sunset fading from across the Grounds. She leaned down to kiss him once more, though this one was quick and light, producing a small spark between their bodies.
She looked down at him, the boy who threw a temper-tantrum in the Study Room, was now the boy Brielle considered to love. She contemplated to tell him right there, but bit her tongue instead, worried she'd come across too eager.
Though, not caring what he thought of it, she closed her eyes and whispered in his ear softly, words that had such a deeper meaning than just a silly school crush. "I love you.." She said faintly, opening her eyes to look at his face.
Half of herself expected him to jerk away like she was some sicko, but she knew better. She knew he reciprocated the same desire of being together as she. That was all that mattered to her. Though, she was curious if he would say the same thing back. Or if he'd reject it. It was too much to bear, so she focused on the thing he said before.
"A beautiful sunset isn't as easy on the eyes? Really?"

@Brielle Gray"I love you."
The words were spoken softly, right in his ear like an angel's whisper. He felt his skin prickle, grow a bit shocked at that. He didn't know what love was, what it meant, what romantic love was supposed to feel like, but if this was it, then he'd liked it. If that were the case, then hell with it, he'd loved her too. He'd do just about anything for her, and the emotions... they didn't feel shallow, they felt genuine for now, so he'd say it back, because he meant it-- even if he didn't entirely know what it meant.
"I love ya too." His words were spoken as softly, if not softer, as hers, leaning forwards to peck her on the corner of her lips. He didn't hesitate, he didn't feel nervous saying it, so there couldn't have been some ind of barrier. He meant it, and so did she. They loved each other, and that was that.
"Yeh, the sunset's tryin' ta replicate yer radiant beauty, but it can't. See, you've got a lot more than the sunset could even think about offerin', plus, you're very huggable. Wanna know wot isn't? E' sunset. You win by default, but you exceed tha bare minimum by a long shot. I stand by wot I say, an' you can't change my mind. Sorreh." He smiled at her again, all big and goofy, with that sparkly little look in his brown eyes. Man, she was gorgeous. This was so much better than what he'd read about and seen, by hundreds and thousands.

He said it back, giving her a fuzzy feeling when she heard it. This whole date gave her a fuzzy feeling. The way he made her feel like she was the only girl on earth, the way he gave her that big goofy grin whenever he said something witty.
"True.. but you know who is prettier than me by far? You." She replied with a grin. She liked arguing with him, it was funny, and cute on his part. Gosh, how she just wanted to spend every second like this.
As the sunset died out, the sky grew dark, making Brielle realize how long they had actually been out here. With a frown, realizing they would have to separate shortly, she got up off of him and grabbed the plush that she had left sitting in the grass. She brought the bird stuffie to her face and mimicked cooing sounds, laughing midway through the little 'act'
Now she was just loopy, probably from how tired she had been. Who knew dates took so much out of you? Not her, that's for sure. She grabbed Gem's hand and helped him up, hugging him once she picked up the basket and tablecloth from off the ground.
"I guess.. I guess I'll see you in Transfiguration tomorrow. As dreadful as that class is, I have a feeling it'll be better tomorrow." She then stood beside him and hugged him tightly, tighter than all of the others she had given today. This one was more sincere, more meaningful.

"Oh, absolutely not. No way I'm not, tha's joost a load of hogwash. I will definitely not stand for that." He shook his head, lightly bonking the side of her head playfully. It was getting late, and while he found Brielle's little toy act amusing, he couldn't keep the yawn from coming out of his mouth. It couldn't have been that late, but he didn't want to get in trouble or anything, so he took her hand and stood up, gathering everything he could. He would give her the letter he had, but he figured that was best for a next time-- he had a lot more to say now, he needed an entire revision.
"Yeh, I look forward ta it. We should do this again sometime, really. I had a lot of fun." He returned the warm embrace, hiding his face in her hair, his speaking all muffled. He wished he was a Slytherin, or even went as far as wishing she was a Ravenclaw, just so they could lay together a bit longer. He pulled back for a brief moment, just so he could give her a peck on the lips, a 'formal' goodbye.
"Sleep well, right? Hug a pillow an' pretend it's me." He smiled, nodding his head over at the castle. "I'll see ya around, Bri. Give yer bird a kiss for me." And off he went, a skip in his step, thinking up all the happy tunes in the world. Life couldn't get better than this, no way in hell. He'd dream of angels, tonight, that was for sure..OOC: Gem leaves
