Santario didn’t even flinch when he emptied the contents of his stomach onto the floor. She shook her head gently. “Rook if you don’t lay still the nurses are just going to render you unconscious again.” Speaking of nurses she stepped outside and grabbed one of the junior volunteer nurses. “Can you clean this up please?” If only this day had happened tomorrow San would have had the spell needed to do it herself. Once the junior nurse used scourgify to clean up the vomit San would move closer into the are and sit on the bed with Illowy leveling a stern look on Kyle.

“You better lean back and do what she says Rook because if you don’t we’re going to have to sit on you. If you don’t think we won’t team up to keep you in bed you are sadly mistaken.” She smiled at him, hoping humor would help defuse the situation even if she was completely serious about the two of them making sure he stayed there. She looked at Illowy and gave her the same smile hoping that they were coming to an unspoken understanding, before directing her attentions back towards Kyle. “Rook you’re the best damn Captain out of all four teams. Your team is prepared, and they’ve got your back let them do what you trained them to do… Or so help me I will sit on you.” Even though she was on the Slytherin team she knew what she said to be the truth. He was the most dedicated captain out of them all and there was no doubt that the Gryffindor team was the best prepared because of it.

Kyle groaned as he sunk deeper into his bed. Moments into his very first game he not only fails to do anything beneficial but he also gets immediately taken out. And he is taken out so bad he cant even be around to look out for his team, shout out guidance, just be a positive figure on the field in general. What good is a captain that can't be there for their team? what kind of a man lays in bed while his troops do the fighting for him? If the team wins this match It will be their victory, not his.

He waved away the hankerchief offered by Illowy and instead he wiped his cloved hand across his mouth to wipe up any remaining fluids around it. "You guys dont get. Flying or not a Captain should be there...What good is a leader who lays around while the team plays. If they lose its my fault" he let out a heavy sigh and pressed his palms into his eyes, wishing the world wasn't so bright and the room would just spinning.

Kyle swallowed heavy as they three of them say in silence for a moment now that Kyle was done trying to get up. "Who hit me? Next game, I'm taking them out"

“I live my life free of compromise, and step into the shadows without complaint or regret.“

I honestly thought that I responded to this... so sorry yall!

As the other snake sat on the edge of the bed, Illowy glanced at her. Though she didn't return the smile, there was the ever-so-light dip of her chin to signify that they were in agreement to keep the boy in bed where he needed to be. No matter how much Kyle fussed and whined and insisted that they didn't get it.

Illowy figured she understood to a degree. In her own duel, she'd been hit with the Curse of the Bogies in the first round and was barely pulling through. She'd been depending on Alexx, who was older and more experienced with her magic; in a way, Illowy supposed she had looked up to the older girl a bit to lead them, and while Alexx's final attack won them the victory, most of her attacked had failed and Illowy had been more then frustrated with her.

Perhaps that was how Kyle felt. Frustrated and angry that he wasn't able to help, just like Alexx had been, "Kyle its the first match of the season. It could be anyone's game, and even if ye' lose it isn't going to be ye'r fault. Win as a team, lose as a team. You'll just have t'come back stronger an' better then before. Which will be a cake walk for ye. The first match is just a way to spot weak points in the game plan anyway, an'then ye work on them after to make yourselves better." Illowy tried to be encouraging, but she couldn't tell how successful she was being.

There was nothing but silence that followed after. Out of habit, Illowy felt herself chewing her lip, waiting for Kyle to say something... or at least lift himself off the Pity Potty.

Perhaps that was expecting too much when he finally pipped up, demanding to know who hit him, "It doesn't matter who hit ye right now." she insisted gently, though truthfully, she hadn't been paying that close of attention. All she'd retained from the game at this point was her cousin being knocked clear out of the sky, "Jus' try to relax and get well and we'll figure the rest out later."

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Interacting with @Santario Martin @Illowy Magnard @Kyle DeRook

In the end...the Ravenclaws won the first match.

Griseldis and her teammates tried, they really all tried their best. But who would have thought a lot of misfortunes happened within their team. After losing their captain, their second string beater mysteriously disappeared and nowhere to be found, their co-captain being absent which caused them to only have one beater during the whole game. Without their captain and co-captain's guidance, it had been a huge struggle. But they were the Gryffindors! No matter what kind of hardship they were in, they would not give up and willing to face all the odds. And they tried all the tactics they had learned from their training and they were so close!

But it seemed it wasn't enough at the end...the moment when the Ravenclaw seeker was able to reach the Golden Snitch before their second-string seeker, the victory had been claimed by the Ravens. Many of her teammates were so disappointed when they lost, Griseldis had the feeling that she was the only one who still wanted to be positive with the result. She did try to cheer her teammates up but it didn't seem to work well. Griseldis decided to she would be the one to bring the news to their captain, honestly...knowing her captain so far, she was certain that he will be very upset about it.

Grisleidis didn't even have the time to change out her Quidditch robe and was on her way to the Hospital Wing, she already starting to feel really nervous because she knew how her captain will react. But it was not like this should be kept as a secret, eventually, he would learn about the harsh reality. When she arrived at the Hospital Wing's entrance, she told the staff member that she was one of Kyle's Quidditch Teammate and was allowed to enter but was told not to stay too long, they pointed her where Kyle's bed was. She saw two familiar figures and one stranger with long, wavy, dark hair. It didn't really surprise her to see San there but she didn't know the other Slytherin girl. She was glad to see her captain was awake though, he didn't seem to have any bad injuries on him.

She clenched fists tightly and took a deep breath to calm herself. "Alright, there's go nothing!", Grisleids whispered to herself. Then she walked towards the trio with a smile on her face and waved at them, "Captain! It's so great to see you're awake now! And hi San! Happy to see you too!", she turned to the Slytherin girl and noded to her politely, "And hello there, I'm Gris, Kyle's teammate."

Santario sighed gently as Kyle continued on about why he should be there. “She’s right you know. The first game of the season not only that the Kestrels always say it isn’t about win or lose it’s about making sure the team still had fun. Your team would be more distracted by your injuries if you were out there. Least in here, they know you are being cared for and don’t have to worry.” She was throwing his own words back at him because it wasn’t so long ago that he told her about the Kestrels not caring about winning. Was winning nice? Of course, it was, but that wasn’t what mattered.

It was then that she heard Gris’s voice and she turned to look at the girl. Gris didn’t look injured which meant that the game was over, but Gris was smiling and San hoped that meant good news. “Hey Gris, how did the game go?” There had been a couple of other players that had been admitted to the infirmary throughout the match but that still didn’t exactly tell them who had won. Either of the teams easily could have caught the snitch. She looked between Kyle and Gris hoping the smiling wasn’t getting his hopes up in case they had lost, but knowing Kyle it probably was.
