"Aw, can it. You guys are such teeeeenaaagerrrsss..." He rolled his eyes dramatically, lightly slapping Owen's chest with the back of his hand. "You weren't actually supposed to say anything! Now they're gonna beat us up! I'm so scared. I'm terrified, actually. My life is in danger. Please, won't you two protect me?" He fell back against them dramatically as if he were fainting, casting the back of his hand over his forehead.
"Alright, but really. I would go around and interact with these boogers, but they don't seem too keen on the fact we're... uh, breathing the same oxygen as them? Maybe they want this American Juice." He gestured at himself with both hands, a full body experience. He wasn't much to look at, but sometimes, that was a good thing.
"I do intend on finding an unfortunate soul to fall in love with here. Starcrossed lovers, even. How great would that be? Me, looking off wistfully as I leave my one true love behind here at this British boarding school... doesn't the idea just make you want to weep?" He pouted, bringing his hand up to tap his cheeks as if he were wiping tears. He squinted at all the people around them, some were interesting-looking, most weren't. To be fair, he wasn't all that interesting, either. Old jean jacket, a pixies shirt, old jeans (not as old as the jacket, though) and some red sneakers. He felt very vintage, right now.
"The difference between us and them is so plainly obvious, I might have to throw up on one of them to make stuff work. I had some oatmeal this morning, so it'll be extra juicy." He peered at his two friends, waiting for a reaction - that was all he ever wanted, a reaction. Made for some trouble.
What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

"We're heeeeerrrrreee!"
Good god, it was way too early in the day for this. It was bad enough that Jeremiah missed his daily dose of caffeine, which meant that he had to force himself not to act like a walking zombie, but now he had to deal with whatever theatrics the Headmaster pulled off this time around. Hell, how extra could he get? The young Thunderbird didn't expect any less from his Headmaster, but apparently, his idea of an entrance consisted of a cloud of glittering smoke and setting off fireworks in the background. It was almost as if he was asking not to be taken seriously. What would the students and professors of the other school think about this display?
Jeremiah really didn't have the time or interest to entertain the Headmaster, or anyone else for that matter. The boy silently slipped out of the carriage, crossing his arms as he took in the environment of the school he would be staying in for the next month. Much like his own school, a large castle stood in front of him, the morning sun casting a light on the brick walls of the building. So far, it didn't seem too scary, despite the fact that he was in a completely different country other than America. The only scary part was the realization of having to deal with a new set of people and having to deal with talking to them. It wasn't as if it would be easy for him to avoid people either- there was bound to be some nosy kids who would want to know who this strange American boy was. Other than that, he was hoping to survive whatever nefarious mysterious plans the Headmaster had in mind. But then again, this was a school filled with magic and potentially crazy kids, if the kids back at Ilvermorny were any indication of what a magical school would be like. If his previous experiences taught him anything, it was that he had to be careful who to trust.
Jeremiah rolled his eyes as the Headmaster continued to drone on. Something about finding something brighter to wear? Yeah, no. Even if he did want to wear something colourful, his wardrobe was rather lacking at the moment. For now, he had to stick with dull colours- not that he was complaining. The boy matted down his jacket, hoping that he didn't look like a complete mess. It might have been acceptable to walk around like a living trash entity back in America, but he had to make a somewhat decent impression if he was going to be dealing with a bunch of strangers who might easily judge him just by looking at his clothes. Another reason why wearing bright colours was a plain stupid idea unless someone was looking to make their first impression as a circus performer.
Looking around, he already noticed that a few students were out of the carriages talking with each other while many others like him were wandering around. Perhaps they were still recovering from that previously embarrassing stunt. Regardless, Jeremiah was admittedly curious about this school. If he was going to make use of the time he would be spending in suffering, he would have explored the rest of the castle. Surely he could get some ideas for some nice landscape drawings out of this, if anything else.

The whole trip had been just that... a trip. A long one. A.Very.Long.Trip. Genevieve had managed to get some time in with Delia but once they all had reached the carriages everyone went their separate way, putting Evie in a rather unsavory mood. A part of her was excited to travel to Hogwarts and finally see the castle itself. She had never been beyond her hometown, her parent's were both stuck in their respective routines. Plus, it was expensive to travel around with a the entire Davis brood, eight kids and two exhausted adults.
The carriage rumbled along as Evie closed her eyes, ignoring anyone else that had been sharing it with her. There was sure to be mass amounts of socializing and knowing Lazarus, plenty of shenanigans once they got to Hogwarts. Taking advantage of the quiet, Evie absentmindedly flicked a tangle of violet dyed hair between her fingers. Working out some of her anxiety she felt a bit calmer and ran through her personal plan in her mind. 'No attachments, be nice... try. Don't stress, don't get into fights... Flirt, have fun, enjoy yourself.' The last bit was more in their Headmaster's tone. She didn't want to embarrass her school that's for sure, although being American was enough of an embarrassment as of late.
Loud booming from outside and the crackle of fireworks made Evie sit bolt upright in her seat. The carriage had stopped. Were they there already? Panic flitted around in her stomach as she instantly became nervous of what sat just outside of the carriage door. 'No.. no no. No. You're more than this.' Clearing her throat and knitting her dark brows together once more forcing down any panic and worry she reached for the handle and poked her head outside only to see the Headmaster ushering everyone back into the carriages. "We're going again.. is he nuts?" She muttered to herself, rolling her blue gray eyes. A small voice inside of her thanked the man for his crazy expectations. This "practice run" would give her a bit more time to herself.
Finally making their second grand entrance, Evie stepped carefully from the carriage and adjusted her hair to rest against the back of her neck, running her fingers through it to comb out any tangles from the bumpy ride in. Her eyes instantly shot around the sight in front of her. 'Wow.. Gorgeous..' Holding back any sign of emotion, Evie peeled her gaze from Hogwarts and looked around for something far more important, Lia. She needed to share this with her, plus who knew what these Hogwarts kids would think of them.. Americans.. invading. Or were they more like test subjects for them to study? Looking across the way she spotted her best friend, Delia. Grabbing her black leather sidebag from the carriage, Evie made her way to the others boots crunching on the stones beneath her.
"Well at least he didn't forget us." She nodded toward Lazarus and pinched Don's shoulder, affectionately of course. Hip bumping Owen, Evie took her place next to Delia. Letting out a laugh, she smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. "Looks like they still don't trust us from second year." Evie clicked her tongue. "It was only a handful of fireworks..." Shifting her weight to one hip she caught sight of the gaggle of boys off to the side. Raising a brow she looked to Delia, a smile snaking its way along her violet painted lips. "Well now... maybe this won't be a wasted trip." Winking towards the boys, Evie bit her lower lip and gave a slight wave of her fingers and leaned into Delia. "Oh yeah..definitely not a waste" Laughing she remarked through her teeth keeping the smile and gaze towards the lurking European boys. Almost all of her worry had melted away instantly as she felt herself flip a switch in her mind to this other side of her.

Delia smirked at Don, swinging her arm around his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll protect you from the big bad British people. I'll beat 'em up with my fists," she said, miming punching with one arm, as her other one was currently being used in place of a scarf around Don's neck. "And you don't need to throw up on them to make it work. You're attractive enough to swing it without any puke involved."@Maggie Parker, @Gem Stuart, @Lark Flaer
She turned abruptly, almost cutting off her words at the sound of someone approaching them. Genevieve. Delia found herself let out a sigh of relief she hadn't realized she was holding at the sight of her best friend. "A handful of very explosive fireworks," she said, smirking at her friend. "Eh, I regret nothing. And you can bet we're sneaking on a carriage all together on the way back. That was waaaaaay too boring for me. The Chaos Squad has to be kept together, you know?" She gestured to herself and the rest of them. "The pranking potential we have put together is endless. Vi's the demolitions expert, I'm the muscle, Owen's the sweet talker, and Don is the mastermind."
She gestured vaguely at the boys by the tree, laughing a little at Vi's flirting. "They're nice enough, but I don't plan on getting involved with any of them. I've got my eye on someone else," she said, grinning coyly at the others. She did, but it wasn't like she was going to tell any of them who it was. (Especially considering the person in question was one of them.) That could ruin just about everything. Delia was impulsive and she'd probably let out the secret at some point anyway, despite being careful about it, but oh well.

[/font]Unfortunately for her, Astrid had been one of the few people to hop out of the carriage the first time. It hadn't been anything disastrous, although it did let her carriage-mates snicker about something after a long trip of boredom, and half attempts at trying to stay occupied. The plus side to getting out the first time, though, was that she had already seen Hogwarts without being partly hidden behind the veils of the carriage.
The second time, instead of wasting time looking at the magnificence of the castle, she watched the castle with mild interest, trying to figure out the best ways to have an adventure. Well, for one, you could try to find your pen pal, Astrid thought, laughing softly at herself. She glanced around to find that the others hadn't gone much farther then she had. Seeing that it seemed they would have to stand here for some time, Astrid quickly grew bored and let herself wander.
Why had she come here? She barely knew anyone at Ilvermorny in the first place, and now, here she was, randomly pushing herself into another group of strangers. Where would they even rest? Did the common rooms have enough area to hold these new people (admittedly, not many). Would she even like her pen-quill- pal? Elzabeth seemed nice enough through writing. How much could happen in a few months? Friends, maybe even crushes- or boyfriends?
The 11 year old shuddered at the idea of a boyfriend. It sounded like something her parents would've wanted for her. And she was almost completely against her parents' ideologies. Almost.
Astrid shuffled her feet, looking around for someone to talk to, as boredom once again struck.

The idea that they'd force themselves to pack together in a carriage was almost better than the trip itself. They'd be around for about a month, and while it'd be weird having time around in a completely different country, he figured it would be a lot easier now that he had his friends with him. They had to play it safe, obviously, only because Headmaster Lear was supposedly terrifying and absolutely nothing like Headmaster Plott. He was ready for Lear to strike the fear of a million suns into him, but hey, if he ended up casting him off into a land of murderous creatures, he'd be remembered in his friend's honor.
"Your eye on someone else? We've been here for like, twenty minutes. Keep your hormones in your no-no square, Delia. Jesus Christ, there are children!" The blonde violently gestured at all the crowding first year Hogwarts students, glaring at her for only a second longer before he felt an unstoppable grin come on his lips.
"Anyway, hi Gene." Ever since Don had watched that no-maj program Bob's Burgers, he wasn't able to keep himself from calling Genevieve Gene instead of Evie, it was just the funniest goddamn thing ever. "Looking like a princess out of our holy year, 2008, as always." He bowed his head, knocking it into Delia's very gracefully.
"Ow. So, I don't know if we're waiting for orders, but it would be kinda hilarious if we just started to chase the students with our wands out and told them this was a robbery and force them to give us all their lunch money. But who knows, maybe Lear will come out and have the tables turned on us. He'll take our lunch money, and our major fruitcake of a Headmaster won't stop him because he'll be captivated by Lear's manliness. We'll be ridiculed." He puffed, sticking his hands in his jacket pockets, swatting some hair out of his face with a whip of his head. "Basically, we shouldn't do it."
The idea was most likely to unpack, get a small tour, eat, and then go to bed, but Don didn't want to do any of that at all. He wanted to explore, he wanted to break potions and make explosions. Maybe he should wait for a little bit first, but he was already homesick and his best way to channel frustration was to wreak havoc. He felt lucky he had friends who liked to do the same things.
"Should we run away? I think we should run away. Start a cult in the forest, and never return. We'll call ourselves the Donotromians. Based off of me, because I'm taller than all of you and also it sounds hilarious." His face was straight, sure, but he was only half joking this time. Seriously.
What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

The boredom was especially strong with Phylicia Stanwood. Okay, so flying on a carriage across the entire Atlantic wasn't going to be a quick trip. Honestly, she don't know why they hadn't just used Side-Along Apparition. Maybe that would've been risky, but at least it wouldn't have taken all bloody day. At least she liked flying--imagine if she'd had to spend the whole trip motion-sick. That would've been awful. Oh, and Phyllis had Karilyna to keep her company, so she supposed she could've been way more bored than she was now.
Of course, her Headmaster had to be entirely ridiculous and delay the Ilvermorny students' getting out of the carriages. At least she didn't bother getting out the first time, although she still expressed her annoyance with a particularly large eye roll. Finally, when the sun was pretty much gone, they landed for real. In the time it took the group to fly all the way back to Ireland, she'd yanked a maroon sweater over her head, more so she don't die of hypothermia than to look nice. Also, it was darker than her light green long-sleeve shirt, so it would make Plott plenty happy.
It was time to get off the carriages but her legs wouldn't move, and it wasn't from them being cramped, although she figured that was a contributing factor. Really though, she had conflicting views about this school. This is where her mom and dad had pretty much grown up, and she really didn't much like either of them. This place just brought back too many bad memories. Sure, she'd never let it show that her past bugged her, but it did.
"You go on ahead Miss Doe-Eyes, I'll catch up in a minute," she told her friend. Who knew if Karilyna'd actually listen, but she needed a moment before she went out into the school that could've been hers, into what should have been her life but got messed up by Dark Magic.

@Gem Stuart, @Catriona Staverly, @Lark FlaerOwen rolled his eyes good-naturedly as both Gene and Delia flirted with the Hogwarts students. He laughed loudly at Don’s comment about “keeping her horomones in her no-no square” and nodded to Gene as she caught up with them.
“I don’t know, Don— I’m kind of interested in this place, to be honest.” Owen commented, laughing at his comment about cults. Don would, though. “I’ve got to meet my pen pal, too— and there’s that ball thing.”
He was honestly excited at the prospects of Hogwarts— even if it was full of big scary Brits. He wasn’t too opposed to the prancing thing as well— not at all, actually.
“And, as much as I love the idea of getting actually murdered, I think we should go bigger.” he smirked, a small, evil thought wording its way into Owen’s morally-sound conscience.
“Maybe something at the Masquerade Ball?” he offered, raising his dark eyebrows at his friends suggestively. They could get away with it— what was Lear gonna go, give them detention? Plus, Lazarus would probably be happy all the attention was on his school, right?
His reasoning became more and more sound, but he was well aware that the four would’ve done it either way. Reasoning was barely ever necessary for the four students, which had backfired many times, but still.

Great Gates of Hogwarts: Ilvermorny Arrival
What she was doing was reading. Nothing unusual. She was far from the castle again because she wanted as little noise as possible. Gladly there were no boys rolling around.Roleplaying as Meenauh Silmataurea
After finishing the second chapter of the book, she heard a loud boom coming from something sounding like fireworks. She jumped involuntarily and dropped her book. God, what made her that nervous.
She turned in the direction of the noise. It came from around the Hogwarts' gates — she wouldn't go and check. That was dangerous. She noticed some freaking sparkling smoke and carriages — the same they were brought to Hogwarts in that year.
"Carriages? In October?" she made a gesture of looking at her wrist to check time, but she never wore watches in her life, and there was no one around for that supposedly comic gesture.
She heard voices, one very clear, commanding to repeat their last actions as if the whole smoke and noise was just a rehearsal. Commanding to kids.
If she would pay more attention to announcements in the Great Hall, she could probably understand what that was all about.
The carriages started to move closer to Hogwarts, and she started running alongside them as well, but not close enough for the people inside to see her.
Closer to the school, she noticed there was already sort of crowd, but still not enough. Were they there for rehearsal as well? And then the smoke again, and children started to roll from their carriages along with more adults.
The Hogwarts' students seemed to understand what was happening and Meenauh sneaked into the crowd to ask questions. Being frowned upon by a few Ravenclaws, she got answers about the unexpected visitors, who failed to make a dramatic entrance from the first attempt. Okay, at least one person saw their grand entrance, but they wouldn't know. She watched the kids and adults going around and mixing with the crowd and noticed how different they were. That seemed like an interesting event of intercultural interaction.

Evie nudged her friend playfully. This trip wouldn't be so bad after all. A bit of adventure never killed anyone, right? Between the boys and possibilities of future shenanigans at a new place, Evie felt a rush of adrenaline kick in.
"Children, of course we all don't want to corrupt you with our mysterious lady bits." Bantering with Don had become a favorite pastime of hers ever since they had met at school. At his compliment to her appearance, because she wasnt going to take it as anything less than that, Evie feigned a curtsey pulling up gently at the edges of her black skirt. Pressing her head against his before standing up straight once more, she gave a laugh.
"My dear Don, you spoil me with your kind words." She couldnt hold back a snort as Don concocted a plot. They had only been here a short time and already were into their group mindset. This was great.
"I wonder how long it'll take for Laz to work in an awkward flirty compliment to Lear. I've heard he is pretty intimidating.. Anything less than a Gandolf the White and I'll be disappointed." Most of Vi's knowledge of any magical wizarding anything had been thanks to vast amounts of time reading and watching any nerdy fantasy movies or books. Even living this life it all felt surreal.
"I have to agree with Owen, this place does seem like it deserves a good once over at the very least." Her eyes rose to the towers looming over them and along the building, spots of light coming from various windows. The ball. Oh right... How annoying.
“Maybe something at the Masquerade Ball?” Owen's words made Evie perk up.
"Now we're talking! What did you have in mind? We have to do our school proud." The last bit she said in a bit of a mocking tone.
