School Robes
Eris nodded. "Yes let's stay in touch." Eris wanted some wizard friends when she at school, as she was terribly clueless about the wizarding world. Adam seemed nice, as did Ava though she seemed to have some secrets to hide. Wondering what the two's last names were, Eris smiled," I'm Eris Elcan. It was great to meet you both." She hopped off her stool with a flourish when Madam Malkin told her she was done. Wandering over to the cashier to pay, Eris studied the various clothing in the shop. The dress robes were pretty pretty, and there was beautiful yellow dress that Eris couldn't help but check the price tag for. Of course it was too much money.
Thanking Madam Malkin, Eris walked out of the shop, wondering if she and the others would really stay in touch at Hogwarts. It seemed unlikely, but Eris didn't know for certain. She silently promised to remember the two just in case she ever saw them in the halls of Hogwarts. She turned back towards the store, and waved at the silhouettes of a tall boy and a shorter boy, before walking off into Diagon Alley. She still needed to buy a wand anyways.

School Robes
Adam said goodbye to the girls as they left the robe shop, and finally it was his turn to thank Madame Malkin and return to the street, his new purchases in hand. He had enjoyed making connections before school started from the year, and he was glad that it had been with Eris and Ava. He looked forward to seeing the girls again, and finding out if they had guessed their House placements right after all!
He walked down Diagon Alley slowly, looking in shop windows and examining all the strange things that the wizard marketplace had to offer. He had already picked up his wand from Ollivanders', but he saw Eris duck inside and mentally wished her good luck. He hoped that she got the wand she wanted.
He knew that his brother would be expecting him back in front of Gringotts' Bank within an hour. He made sure to stay in the vicinity of the daunting building, but allowed himself to walk into a few different shops and browse their wares. He almost forgot to buy his cauldron, remembering miraculously at the last minute to stop in the supply shop. A few other stores looked promising on the alley; Florean Fortescue's was always a wonderful place to end a shopping trip, and the Magical Menagerie had a sign hung in the front door promising a new, exciting stock coming soon. Adam had been to Diagon Alley several times before, but this was the first real time he was exploring alone.
It was good preparation for Hogwarts. But of course, he wouldn't be alone at the castle. He'd already met up with Eris and Ava in London; he wondered when he'd see them again during the better part of his first year. He was excited to reconnect.
