Nico smiled softy at him, as she mostly, always did. 'I- Well... It wasn't... all good... but you know. Can't tell your parents only the bad stuff right?' She tilted her head slightly, as if she used this as a rethorical question. A slight sad glance reflecting in her eyes as she had to hold back some tears from appearing.
'Time with your family huh? Sounds like a good time aswell.' She giggled slightly, some strands of hair slid down her shoulder onto the table as she did. Before she knew it, she caught herself staring at this eyes, causing a flush of red to appear on her cheeks once again. He truly had a face that she hadn't seen before or that you rarely see. The feckles on his nose and cheekbones were distracting and don't even get her started about his eyes. They had an oceanblue hue. When he looked away, his eyes seemed to be more of a blue kind, but whenever he looked her way, they looked more emerald green.
'S-So... W-what's your home like? And your family? Are you happy to be around them?' What even were these questions. She blurted them out slightly panicking. How long had she been quiet? How long had she been studying his face rudely without ever looking away? Did she freak him out? Was he going to leave anytime soon? She would've undertand. Or would she? Nervous ever so slightly, Nico started to fiddle with her pen and straighten her back. Focusing on her composure should bring her back to her senses. Right?
'I-I'm from London. A.. very busy city. T-To be honest, Hogwarts is way calmer or.. was it.. kind of the same... like London?' Nico started to stare at a random point on her desk. She was making this way too hard for herself. Why did she have to break the silence with random questions she didn't even know the answer to.
She sighed deeply and slumped abit down on her chair. Her pretending got to a limit. 'I-I'm sorry. I was rambling again, hah..' She smiled at him. A smile that was nervous, embarassed and sort of sad at the same time.

It was a nice change of subject and he found the way she seemed to stumble around her words quite adorable."Nae dun worry bout it. I don't mind the ramblin ah find it adorable." He plainly said, finding nothing wrong with his current statement.
He perked up a bit when she asked what he was, "I suppose ye right though....can't tell em all the bad." This caused a small genuine chuckle to escape his slightly chapped lips. Covering his mouth to stifle the louder laughter that escaped very shortly after. "My family huh and home?" He paused for a moment, letting the laughter down a bit more. His brows knitted together carefully forming a thoughtful expression.
His next words seemed to be carefully chose, though genuine. "Dublin. My home is Dublin. A beautiful an old city, filled with so much history, mystery, and sweets. The people there are truly one of kind for better or worse. Ma family moved there when me parents married. Spent my whole life between their and me grandparents cottage." He paused briefly to let all the information sink in a soft smile gracing his lips despite the more somber expression he displayed.
"Ah could talk for hours about Dublin, but ah won't bore ye to tears. Me family is unique, stubborn, bull headed, stuck in their ways, insensitive, and every curse in the book...however ah still love them deeply and wouldn't trade em for notin." He directly stared at Nico now looking at her. His smile grew into a grin and his expression changed into one showing both pride and joy.
