Lallie smiled directly at Telle giving her a "thank you for confronting Diane for the both of us since I'm too afraid to do so" look. Lallie absolutely hated confronting people, but she felt that Diane kind of needed to know that what she was saying was sorta rude and assuming.
Diane explained herself and it didn't make her words less offensive, but it made her views less offensive. Lallie thought that Diane might have been playing down what exactly her parents taught her though.
Lallie agreed that there was a difference between Muggles and wizards. Our societies, our views of the world, and we barely know about each other's worlds. We are a small 9% of the human race that has formed a wondrous society.
However, that 9% includes Muggle-born wizards. Lallie has read lots of philosophy and it's commonly accepted that Muggle-born wizards tend to have a disadvantage in our society since as a child they tend to experience more Muggle culture than wizard culture and their families tend not to accept them. This causes them to be confused, scared, and the target of shunning when entering the wizarding world.
This can lead to them either being timid and nervous in this world which is where some people got the idea that all Muggle-borns are weak and therefore at a lower level than the rest of the wizarding society. Then there's the latter in which the Muggle-born works extra hard to fit themselves in the wizarding society which is where other people get the idea that Muggle-borns are snotty and way in over there head. Diane was defiantly the latter.
'Right the book.' Lallie thought. She picked up the book, looking at it. She had only gotten to page 50 but she liked the book so far. "Oh, right! I completely forgot. It's a fictional story on this one wizard that accidentally cast a huge snowstorm in London during the summer that caused two third years and a first year -the first year is the little sister to one of the third years- at Hogwarts to stop the Muggles from finding out about the wizarding world. It's a really good book. I've only read the first 50 pages, and why'll it is a little improbable, I still like it. It's actually won a Hogwarts Prize which is cool!" Lallie said. Lallie always tended to ramble on when it comes to books. She's not really one to talk a lot, but talk about books and she's all over it.
"You cannot now believe that you will ever feel better. But this is not true. You are sure to be happy again. Knowing this, truly believing it will make you less miserable now."

Killana shuffled onto platform nine and three quarters as her father showed her how to enter through the column. She let go of her cart of belongings and patted herself, trying to make sure her whole body and all her clothes were in tact. "Dad, that was not a pleasant experience," she muttered under her breath as she grabbed the trolley with her trunk on it and pushed it towards the train, where she then picked up her suit case and walked onto the train, looking around at all the students who were finding compartments to sit in. Her black hair was pulled back into a tight french braid, making her appear more formal than she was, and her pale blue eyes stood out in contrast to her black hair.
Some of the students greeted her with a smile and nod as they got into their sections, putting their trunks in the overhead compartments. She however had not found any that looked inviting or welcoming. Then she stopped as she began to overhear another section a few doors down from where she was standing. She watched as a blonde girl made her way in, noting she didn't hear the girl ask if she could join them. As she moved closer she could overhear the conversation that had begun to form. All in one fell swoop she heard insults about muggle-born witches and she frowned. As she had heard these words said she got in front of the room and looked in and noticed one of the girls didn't seem pleased about the comment, and she had just gotten out of the way of a young man coming back out. She shuffled forward and looked at the three girls already inside, and she smiled brightly as she greeted them. "Good day to you, my name is Killana Orion, I was wondering if I might join you?" she asks with a chipper tone, trying to bring a bit of a chipper note to the solemn party.

Tiny stepped onto the first year carriage, and looked at her father one last time. He had always been there for her, and now he wouldn't be. Ever since her mother died, her father had always been the light of her life. She looked around and sighed. She had to meet others. She wasn't used to it because she had always had her father and didn't feel she needed anyone else. She knew her father loved her, especially because he was willing to let me go to a wizarding school, and being the muggle parent, he knew nothing about it. It was all because I wanted to. As the train took off, she took a breath, and spoke. "H-Hi! I-I Uh.. I..." Tiny thinks, and has nothing. She deems herself the worst socializer ever. She tries again. "I-I uh.. I-I'm Tiny!" Tiny was her nickname, though. She didn't like her real name so nobody ever called her that. Not even teachers during attendance. She had then realized that nobody else was talking to her, and felt awkward. She stared out the window and thought about her father. She took back ever requesting to go when she got that letter on her birthday! She tries reassuring herself. It'll most likely be better when she gets there.

Ross walked carefully onto the train. He didn't show it, but he was more excited than he had felt in years. A rush was going through his head. It felt like he had eaten twenty seven-layer cakes. His brain could hardly think. He had not looked back at his parents when he got on the train, but if he had he would have seen his parents beginning to tear up. All they had wanted was a normal life, and this signified it would never happen to them. Despite all that, a realization hit him as he walked by the seats. He would have to sit with someone, wouldn't he? Was there a specific place he was supposed to sit? He didn't bother to check or ask, so he wasn't sure if there were areas just for certain ages or just for certain genders. Did he already do something wrong? A rush of fear flowed through his brain. His brown eyes darted back and fourth to see if anyone his age was heading towards anywhere. In front of him he noticed a girl smaller than him enter the first year carriage. He automatically assumed she was his year due to this, and approached it. He took a deep breath and opened the door to it. He immediately regretted it.
"Oh dear, i'm so so sorry! Is this the woman's carriage? He inquired, his voice sounding jumbled because of how fast he spoke.
"I didn't mean to intrude on your privacy! Could you point me to where I can go? He spoke fast just as before, but attempted to make his voice clearer.

Lallie noticed that Diane wasn't really paying attention to her talking. 'Huh go figure' Lallie thought. If you're going to ask you could at least pay attention. Telle seemed to be paying attention thought so Lallie didn't mind. Telle was pretty nice, she listened when Lallie rambled and she was very respectful to Diane.
Then one brunette girl came into the compartment asking to join. That was strange since it had been several minutes since they left the station but maybe she just wanted to move or had trouble finding an empty compartment.
"Sure you can sit down." Lallie said with a smile. It was starting to get a little cramped here but there were still two more seats left so they weren't cramped yet. Then another brunette girl came in. 'Wow so many people looking for seats this far into the trip' Lallie thought.
The girl seemed just as socially awkward as Lallie which was refreshing. She thought she would only be with extroverted and confident people at Hogwarts.
"Yea there are still a couple of spots left." Lallie said to the new girl. Just as she said that a boy came into the compartment. This was just too many people for Lallie. She just wanted to sit down and quietly read. Lallie would probably have better luck at that by finding a new compartment with no people in it or older kids who wouldn't give her the time of day.
"Oh no, it's fine. I'm pretty sure the compartments aren't separated by gender. I was about to leave anyway so you can take my spot." Lallie said standing up and scooting her way to the compartment doorway. She grabbed her trunk and hauled it down.
"Well it was great to meet all of you but I'm going to try my chances with a less crowded compartment. Have a nice day, maybe I'll see some of you at Hogwarts." Lallie said. She walked into the corridors starting to look for an empty compartment.

Ross let out a sigh of relief. He was terrified he had messed up big time, but then the thought had hit him he would now have to talk to these people. He was most definitely going to slip up, but there was absolutely no backing out of this now.
"Oh, thank you dearly. I.. erm, suppose I'll sit here then" He responded, trying his best not to show the extreme discomfort he was in.
He awkwardly sidestepped so Lallie could exit the compartment. As she lugged all her heavy luggage out, he took it has his cue to step in. He scooted into the seat, and twidgetted with his fingers. He looked around at each person within the area. He saw several were indulged in conversations, and he could not exactly pinpoint what they were speaking of. He looked around to see who wasn't speaking. She looked over to the two new people of the compartment. Well, or so he presumed. They looked just about as uncomfortable as he was, so it was a sturdy assumption in his book.
"So, who exactly are you two?" he inquired "The name here is Ross.
He realized how uncomfortable that entire introduction must have been. Still, he hoped they noticed he was talking to them. He was not one to start conversations, but at this point he truly felt that if he would not they would carry the rest of the ride on while listening to others talk. He could not bare that sort of awkwardness, so this was the one shot he was given.

Tiny was unsure about the boy.. The girl who left seemed nice, and she knew nothing about the others. She really didn't think she would fit in here. She didn't want to say anything, she had no idea how to socialize. She grabbed a book out of her trunk and looked as uncomfortable as possible. She might offend somebody, but she would probably offend them more if she verbally showed it. She decided to respond to the boy, as to not offend him. That didn't go well. "H-h-h-h" She gave up. She probably seemed like she has the hiccups when she said that. Again. This time, straight from the top. "I-I'm, uh, I-i-i.. I-I'm T-t- I'M TINY!" She had an awkward smile and kicked her legs quietly. She was really bad at socializing. What was she doing? She just tried to reach 200 words XD introduce herself, and it all went wrong. She was so bad at this. Hogwarts would definitely be worse. She just continued reading, and tried to look uncomfortable again. Then, she stopped, remembering that she's bad at talking. If someone talked to her, she would have to talk too. She just hummed and quietly read some poetry from her father. She got it from her birthday. She thought about her father.

Ross glanced over and immediately felt awkward that nobody responded. He looked down and fiddled with his fingers. So that was how it was going to be then. He was not quite sure what else he was supposed to say. Was he doing it wrong?
"Oh, I see.." he mumbled, trailing off as he spoke.
This was going to be a long, awkward ride. He was sure of it. He truly hoped he could in some way redeem it. He glanced over at @Tiny Misa, who was reading something. When she stated her name, his eyes lit up slightly. Maybe this would not be as treacherous as he had presumed after all.
"Tiny... how odd! I've never heard that one before." He remarked, but then immediately felt guilty. "Not that it is a bad name or anythin'! Just 'aven't heard it yet. Suppose there is a first time for everything. He quickly cleared up, anxious that he had already screwed up on his first conversation to this school.
He looked over at what she was reading. He did not want to stare for long because he knew it could certainly be considered rude. On top of that, it would be blatantly obvious as well. He was not the type to like too much attention drawn to himself anyways. He just wanted JUST the right amount. Not too little, not too much. It was like making a pie, except if you went too far on one end for Ross it would not be as forgiving as the pie.

Cosmo slowly walked step my step through the trolley aisles. This was really it. He was on his way to leaving for a year. He had a sick feeling in is stomach and throat. A feeling he would experience often this year, he assumed. He silently exhaled, making his way, staring down and taking quick glances at the compartments, searing for an empty one he could sit in. He caught other kids staring at his, so he pulled his hood over his head, making his ocean blue eyes invisible, but his curly chestnut hair stuck out a bit. He made his way to the back, hoping there would be no one there, but it was, in fact, more crowded there than up near the front. There were not any empty seats. He would be forced to sit with someone. He hated the idea. He just stood in the middle of the aisle, becoming more and more nervous. He looked around at the kids from under his hood. One kid told him to move along. He just froze, there were other kids behind him, waiting to move forward. Cosmo slid to the edge of the aisle to let them pass, leaning against a compartment. He didn't know what to do. He took a peek in the compartment he was leaning against. There was a kid wearing glasses and a girl inside. He decided to leave @Ross Stephens and @Tiny Misa alone, he moved to the middle of the aisle again, kids were starting to get annoyed at him.
