Koko smiled broadly as the other girl began to rap lyrics from Hamilton. My Shot. Had Koko made her think to sing something like that? Or had it been Kit's decision, uninfluenced? Koko probably wouldn't find out. It didn't matter. It just would be nice to know.

She pursed her lips when Kit began walking around the compartment to try and suppress her smile. Otherwise, she would have been grinning wildly - and she didn't want that. It'd embarrass her and make her seem as if she smiled readily - well, she did, but... She didn't want Ashtyn to know that.

Her urge to smile would eventually fade as she realised that no matter how much she tried to appear a high-class pure-blood, she would still come off as an idiot. Just because her dad - her adoptive one - was a half-blood, she had been exposed to Muggle culture, and not the high-class Muggle culture, so she'd come across as an idiot no matter which side she acted like. Koko had been raised mostly by Victor, so she hadn't gotten to see what it would be like going to Rosalie's get-togethers and pure-blood conferences. She didn't get to see all of the pure-blood drama. If, when she got to Hogwarts, someone asked her about the most recent pure-blood scandal, there was a high chance that the blonde-haired girl wouldn't know what they were talking about.

She was quiet; she didn't begin singing. Instead, she reached for her trunk and pulled it onto her lap, yanking out an Mp3 player and a pair of earbuds. Yes, it wouldn't work at Hogwarts, or so Victor had told her. However, Koko had still brought it on the train. It didn't need WiFi, so she was grinning as she hit the play button.

She leaned back and closed her eyes. Before long, she was humming. A few songs had played, and a content smile was back on her face. She relaxed through music, this was what anyone could tell about her. Big fun, Big Fun! "Way to show maturity". Koko opened her eyes and looked at Kit again. She took out an earbud, smiling. "What's your status?" It wasn't a very specific statement, so she rephrased it. Who's this pig remind you of, especially the snout? Ha! "You know," Koko said, "Are you a pure-blood? Mudblood? Half-blood?" Dang, dang, diggety dang-a-dang.

She knew that the term 'Mudblood' could and would be seen as insensitive, but she didn't really care. It was a pretty high chance that this girl was at least a half-blood, but Koko wasn't going to let that bother her. She, as a pure-blood, didn't need to care what others thought... Right?

She usually had worries like this. How would she live up to Rosalie? Hell, how would she live up to the legacy of her father? She couldn't. But the smile was still on her face, and as Big Fun ended, Koko kept her eyes on Kit. "Also, what House do you want to get into?" She hadn't commented on Kit's compliment towards her - or at least it had been an implied compliment. She just tried to seem excited. "I want to either be a Slytherin... or maybe a Ravenclaw?" It came out as a question. The girl was happy now, there was no doubting that.
