No Glass
Meenauh nodded at Marla's acceptance of the recent club idea, as she was still bathing in the thoughts about it, smiling wildly. Marla even already joined the club in advance, which was a good sign. Probably, Marla was a knowledge lover as well, engaged in the books.
"Wait a second," she stopped her flow of thoughts and mentally rewound the last half a minute back to hear once more the questions Marla asked her. After retrieving the information from the recent past she internally nodded to herself with content, apprehending that Marla was indeed a book lover herself. And she even asked about her preferences for the books. That could diverge into a long conversation, not quite suitable for a high tower with no glass and the distinctive smell. That brought her back as she realised it was time to maybe move somewhere else as their business was probably done here anyway.
"Oh, sometimes it's not about the kind of books you read, but what you can grab from them for yourself. I studied a lot of muggle literature as well as the wizarding one," she held it back a bit as it wasn't probably the right time to talk about muggle science with a magic child.
She looked around as if trying to say goodbye to the place because her head started to feel dizzy from the potential lack of air on the top of the tower and the smell didn't help it like at all. She turned back to Marla and requested:
"Do you mind leaving this place? I feel lack of air here and, you know, the smell doesn't help it. We could discuss the books on our way back. Classes will start soon as well."

[quote]Meenauh had paused when Marla asked what type of books she liked. Did she say something wrong? Did Meenauh not like books? Marla's head was running at a mile a minute until Meenauh had responded.
"Oh, sometimes it's not about the kind of books you read, but what you can grab from them for yourself. I studied a lot of muggle literature as well as the wizarding one," Marla nodded at the tall girl's words, she never really thought of it that way. Most of the time there were lessons to learn from books, but Marla never exactly sought out what they were. She just read them for recreation purposes and nothing more, and because of that she only thought about the books when she wanted to. Unless it was some stupid school assignment. That was an exception. A terrible one, at that. But surprisingly enough, Marla had learned a lot about muggle culture. In fact, she knew a little more about muggle culture than wizarding culture, despite what Meenauh thought. She grew up around humans and learned their ways. Marla thought she was a muggle for the majority of her life, so it did make sense. Sometimes she missed the blissful simplicity that came with being non-magical. Being able to do laundry without magic... Not having to worry about "blood status"... It was stupid. But before Marla could even get started on that topic, Meenauh had asked her to leave the owlery. The girl nodded, especially because Marla couldn't stand the smell either. She felt a little bit lightheaded from it, even. It'd be nice to actually get some fresh air...
"That'd be quite nice, actually. Smells like rubbish in here... I assume we have the same classes?" Marla asked the girl as they began to walk down the Owlery steps, leading to the fifth floor.
