Long way from home Closed

Kyle stared the the sky, watching the clouds float by carelessly. He had a million different streamers and things to worry about running through his head. Worries about his house, what his parents would think, how he should act, who he should befriend, as well as his more unique...personal issues. Coming to this school was supposed to be an adventure, supposed to be a freeing and exciting thing. So why was he so stressed out? He was normally so care free. He lets out a heavy sigh

"There's nothing wrong with Hufflepuffs... I thought I was going to be one..."

This pulled Kyle out of his thoughts. Obviously he knew there were other parents from other houses that had to be proud of where they were housed. So obviously this would lead to other kids wanting to be in or feeling like the belong in other houses. So why was he so hung up on his own disappointment at not being Slytherin? Kinda seemed selfish and Kyle was a great many things but he wasn’t really a selfish guy.

”I mean of course all the houses were made from talented wizards. Can’t deny there are certain stereotypes that go with other houses you know?”
