She headed east and after a fairly short walk they were faced with another choice. The path spilt into three and Lavinia felt her stomach drop since if they chose the wrong path it could mean death. She looked at her options with nerves that never really had and she started to decide which path to take.
As she looked straight ahead she saw the same flagstones with a wall of bushes she thought that this option was to easy to take so she said ”Straight ahead seams to easy to take, there is probably some sort of death trap there and I agree with what Rosie said about tossing something there.
She turned toward the left pathway that ended in a bright green door and assumed that it could be the right way to go so she said ”The hobbit door looks nice we could head there but it could be a door to a different place or reality”
She turned to her right and saw a tunnel and her mind immediately went back to her childhood where she would run through tunnels with her mom and hear her footsteps echoing all around her. She had a very dead urge to go through the tunnel and relive her childhood but before she could saw something Rosie turned to her and said: ”Please not the tunnel. I... I hate tunnels” Lavinia was kind of taken back at this since she was so keen to travel that way and also she was wondering why Rosie hated tunnels. She also thought that Rosie should face her fear and go into the tunnel but she was not the one to decide that but she did say ”I think that we should go through the tunnel but if you don’t want to face your fear maybe the hobbit door is a better choice.”

“We need to talk, Howie. But not here. I’ll tell you everything, I promise.”
Howie nodded in silent agreement as the three of them wandered down the path. It did not take them long to come to a cross road. The path ahead appeared much like the one they were already on. To the left, a circular green door, the right, a cavelike tunnel that was certain doom.
“Those stones could be treacherous.” Howie agreed with the other two. “And I don’t have anything on me to use as weights. Too risky.” He was doing his best to think logically. As Rosie’s eyes met with the tunnel, she would reach out and squeeze his arm. Howie could see the fear in her eyes, a fear he too felt deep in his guts. His free hand would reach over, applying gentle pressure to her forearm. The last time the two had seen each other, it had been on another Hogwarts adventure, deep underground. No freakin way.
“Please. Not the tunnel. I...I hate tunnels.” Rosie put a voice to his worry.
“I think that we should go through the tunnel, but if you don’t want to face your fear maybe the hobbit door is a better choice.”
Howie shook his head slightly as Lavinia spoke. “No, I agree with Rosie. No tunnel.” He did his best to hide the fear in his voice. “Plus, who knows if there is any lighting in there. I don’t want to have to rely on just our wands. Again, too risky.” Howie turned to look back at the green door. When looking closer, he noticed it was left ajar. He pointed his finger at it, wanting to draw the others attention towards it. “Look. It appears that someone has already gone that way. If there were any traps, they may already be tripped. Could be our best bet. What do guys think?”

You and your partner(s) decide to go NORTH through the hobbit door. Once you and your partner’s step through the threshold, the door would slam behind you, locked. The small room was dark. The only that gave out light was a box on an ordinary wooden table treasure box, it’s sides rimmed with gold. It emitted a strong blue glow. Should you step closer, the chest would swing open revealing three pieces of jewelry glowing vibrant blue. Three, perfect it was, one for each. One was a dragon shaped pendant the other two were rings. Have you stumbled across a gift so soon or was this just too good to be true?
Across the room, would be a door, a metal door that looked very out of place. The exit. There was a pad of buttons on the door as well as a number pad quite similar to what one would find on a phone. Not that you would know this unless you came from a muggle household. As if an unseen hand had flipped a switch, an internal click would sound and a voice would emanate from an invisible speaker.

“CIPER ME,”
The voice was distinctly feminine, the inflection in her voice did not show any particular interest if it was ever a woman's voice at all. It sounded automated and cold, heavily accented so perhaps you did not hear that quite right.

Rosie jumped at the door slammed behind the group. She'd been close to cursing in fact, but that wasn't her style.
A glance around the room. It was dark... very dark. She saw the blue light being emitted from the box ahead, but that was about it. She held up her wand. "Lumos." She listened to the voice and committed the statement to memory.

Rosie would cast Lumos (D20+7=9) the spell however, would barely produce a flicker of light.

Howie jumped as the door slammed shut behind him, cutting off the light and plunging the room into darkness. “Great! Just great. I shoulda grabbed something to keep it from closing.” He huffed as he became frustrated with himself. They had to think these things through.
After a few moments, his eyes acclimated to the dark and he would see a blue light from the other side of the room. Howie drew his wand, but Rosie had beat him to the punch.
“Lumos.”
The wand being held next to him would flash, but only for a moment before fizzling out. “Here, let me try.” With a swish of the wand, Howie called out the incantation. “Lumos!”

As they entered the door and walked a few feet inside Lavinia’s heart was racing and she was really scared when the door shut behind them leaving them in the pitch black. She looked around the room and saw a blue glow coming from a box she told her companions: ”Whatever you do not touch the box it is most likely a death trap of some sort” She was nervous herself so this somewhat eased her nerves. She kept looking in the room as her soon will be friends both said lumos and cast the spell she did not know the spell but decided to try it anyway ”Lumos” she said but nothing happened Well that was a dud she thought. Lavinia looked across the room to barely see a metal door that seemed like the exit but next to it there was a pad of numbers that Lavinia remembered as a what would be on a phone she had spent a few years living a muggle lifestyle since her parents through she was a squib. As she was about to examine it as a female voice said above:
”CIPER ME”
Lavinia thought that they were supposed to spell the word on the keypad matching the letters to there corresponding number all she was wondering was what to do with the space should they do the number 1 that had no corresponding letters. She told he amazing companions: ”We should match up the letters of CIPER ME to the numbers on the keypad but should the space in the two words be the number 1?”

Howard and Lavina would both cast Lumos (Howard>D20+10=13)(Lavina>D20+8=12) the spells however, would barely produce a flicker of light before dimming. They were left in the dark, with the box and whatever was inside Illuminating a strong glow.

“Grr!” Howie let out a noise of frustration as his wand sputtered and sparked, but did not light. He shoved his wand back into his pocket and paced the room, thinking of what to do next. Lavinia would warm them not to touch the box, however his eyes were drawn to it, his curiosity getting the best of him. Howie took a step towards it and as he approached the kid swung open.
“I don’t know Lavinia...it seems like it wants us to take the stuff inside.” He called out to her as he looked inside. There was a dragon pendant and two rings. His hand would reach out, his fingers clasping around the pendant.

Rosie sighed when her charm didn’t work, but she didn’t try again. She narrowed her eyes- an attempt to see in the dark. ”How can you even see anything, Lavinia?” The girl’s tone indicated she was clearly impressed. ”But if you can see it, I don’t think there’s usually a button for a space. Just a run on sentence. But it does sound like that’s what it is.”
With a sigh, she turned and looked at Howie. He was close, which was the only reason she could make out any facial features at all. As he stepped forward and took the pendant, Rosie frowned. ”That seems like a bad idea.” But even despite her words, she stepped forward. The light surrounding the immediate area of the jewelry set propelling her forwards. She turned her head as she stood beside Howie and watched as he chose the pendant. With a breath, the girl picked up a corresponding ring and slid it on her finger. As the ring slid down the digit, she groaned inwardly at her utter stupidity. She fully expected something terribly inconvient, if not downright awful to happen. So she took a deep breath, preparing herself for the worst and hoping for the best.
