Donny was glad to see the smirk wiped off of the girls face as he stood up gracefully, taking his and Ruka's wands to himself with mocking arrogance. "Thank you my kind Prefect." he said, trying to keep a straight face and snickering. He headed back over to Ruka, putting his hand over his mouth and handing Ruka his own wand back. "Here!" he said, standing on the tips of his feet and twisting around gracefully once more. He headed for the door and held his nose up as he passed with Ruka, he was getting a little out of control now... but it was fun!
The two were heading off to their dorms, passing the snoring paintings, and twitching suits of armor as they leaned against the wall, their own snores echoing in their metal helmets. "Well... I guess we'll see each other tomorrow then," he said, panting at the end pf the staircases in front of Ruka's dorms. The fat lady was also quite asleep, hair curlers and some sort of paste over her eyes. "Er... I'll leave you to deal with this lot!" he said, waving goodbye to Ruka. "Oh! And don't forget, those tickets should be coming soon!" he said, pointing at Ruka with a grin and clicking his teeth. "Well... 'night!" he said, preparing for the journey down the willful staircases at last...

Ruka couldn't help but snort behind his hand at the way Donny took both their wands back from the Prefect with mocking arrogance, and he almost felt a lottle bad.
Sure, she had punished them, but they had broken the rules and she had actually apologised for making them wait this long, so she wasn't all bad.
Still, Donny's behaviour made him snicker, his cheeks flushing with it.
He took his wand back with a grin and a nod and gave the Prefect a little wave. "Thanks," he told her with a little smile. "Here's to never cleaning owl poop again!" He grinned before skipping past her, catching up with Donny so they could walk down the stairs together and towards their Common Rooms.
The castle was eerily silent, even the portraits snoring quietly along the walls. It was strange to be out here without having to fear that someone might catch them and get them into detention, consdering that's where they just came from.
He was so lost in thought that he barely realised when they had reached the entrance to the Gryffindor Common Room, the Fat Lady sleeping as well as all the others. Ruka knew he would have to listen to her complaining about how he was waking her up in just a little bit.
"Well that was strangely fun," he told Donny with a smile and turned to wave him good bye. "I'm gonna have to brush up on all my Quidditch knowledge before that match, so expect to find me in the library!" He laughed and clapped Donny on the shoulder before they both parted ways. "See you tomorrow!" he repeated to his friend and then got himself ready to get past the Fat Lady so he could finally, finally go to sleep.
