'I-...' She stammerd. She noticed she did. And it got worse when she noticed that she did. 'I-.. W-Well... H- I...' Like some sort of engine, her ability to speak broke down. Speechless, she walked over to the wall she had been staring at and rested her forhead against it. The cold stones would've probably melted away, if her red face had the magical feature to do so.

Hugh surely had a talent to mock people, she thought.

Nico sighed deeply, staying quiet for a long time. She had owled, the most dangerous boy of Hogwarts, to go on a date with her. Like a mantra, that sentence rolled around in her head. Maybe it was a mistake. But... her gutfeeling told her it was the right choice. Nico really wasn't sure if she'd trust that.

'Y-You can pick whatever you like to wear at the Ball, as far as I know. I honestly didn't think I'd ever attend one of these events. Since... well... I.. used to not know anyone. At all.' Shaking her head wildly, still quite confused about what she felt, she walked to the middle of the hall. 'I-I don't know! Okey? I don't know what this is t-that I feel or something!' Right after she said that, she stopped. Embarassed. 'J-Just wear what you want... Whatever you... feel comfortable with. I have this dress with me that my mother picked for me. Nothing too fancy really."

"I'm sure you'll look lovely." Hugh replied with a soft smile on his face. His mind wandered of to thoughts on a dancefloor. A faint image of Ana wearing a dress whilst dancing with him found its way nestling inside like a comfortable thought. "Oh.." He let the sound slip. The intense warm feeling he got inside as he thought about her. Suddenly he could see her as clear as daylight. He had no trouble getting the details right. Her smile, her hair, the way she walked or the way she would sometimes shoot him a look. "Y-yeah, that sounds nice."

His eyes would snap out of their hazed state and flash back to Nico's direction. "I'm sorry, did you say something? I-I should maybe go..." He grabbed his bag off the floor embarrassingly, averting his gaze a bit and giving off the impression he was inspecting the suit of armour one last time before making his depart. "I do hope you'll enjoy yourself. And that he'll be nice to you. You deserve someone nice." He smiled in her direction and carefully stepped closer to the stairs he was meant to go up. Taking halt on the first step and turnig around for a final note.

"I'll see you around?"

Nico blinked. Hughs mind seemed to wander off. Was he mumbling? Nico carefully sat a few steps closer and waved her hand infront of his face. 'Hello? Hugh? Huh.' Folding her arms, she watched him drift off into his mindspace. A good place at that, seeing a peaceful smile grow on the Scotts face.

She slowely shook her head and pulled up her scarf once more, neatly covering the bridge of her nose. As he slipped away for a moment, Nico had the same thing. She walked around him, up to the suit of armor she first had stared at. She more or less thought about what to wear. She hooked her hand over the strap of her bag. Images of her perfect blue dress, floated through her head. A bow would be nice and maybe some maryjane shoes. The redhead nodded gently, agreeing with herself. That would look elegant enough for her own taste.

Meanwhile Hugh was finally released from his mindpalace. He seemed startled in a way. Nico was pretty sure his face was quite red too. Well... A date... with someone you like, sure is something that brings some color the cheeks.

'You didn't say much... but you did say enough.' She chuckled softly. 'And eh... No. I didn't say anything.'

As he made clear he had to go somewhere, Nico nodded at him. 'Sure thing. Must be important.' One hand resting on her bag, she humbly waved. 'Well, we'll see about that, won't we?' As the image of the Ravenclaws face flashed infront of her one more time, her cheeks reddened abit.

'E-ehm. If the bed monsters won't have you, I'm sure I'll see you again one of these days.' The beds may have a grip on him, but he should fight them. Be a Gryffindor.

'Stay safe!'

And off he went. Nico sighed and drifted back to her outfit for the Blossom Ball. It would be her first ball. And... her first date. Taking a deep breath, Nico quickly skipped back to her dorm for some final preparations.
