It was good to know that Tremaine was fine with just "Maine". To her, Maine was much easier to pronounce than Tremaine. But Miss Shelby? She was a bit stunned about that. Nobody called her Miss Shelby. Was it slight sarcasm? She smiled, listening to the boy's reply. Chocolate frogs and magical creatures? Okay, magical creatures were just fine, but Chocolate frogs? Frogs? Nobody told her that frogs were made of chocolate in the wizarding world. 'It would be terrible if frogs are actually made of chocolate. Please, please tell me that it's a joke.' She pleaded to herself, but Maine focused on magical animals now. Still, the idea of chocolate frogs, frogs melting in a summer day haunted her.

"Future mazoologist Mr.Jarrow." She gave a small bow with a delicate grin. "Nice to meet you. How are your dragons doing? Last time I checked, you found a Antipodean Opaleye egg, am I right? Hope I can them later. Their eyes are wonderful, multicolored, aren't they?" She was thankful for reading Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them before she got in the train, giving her a bit background information about the animal. She hoped Maine did understand what she was talking about.

Tremaine turned over his newly-acquired nickname in his mind. This was one of his first encounters with another student, and already she had forgone the usual etiquette of referring to one another by surname and instead shortened his first name. He wasn't sure if he liked it or not. On one hand, it felt rather comfortable. On the other hand, it also felt alien, strange. Tremaine knew that his grandmother would have a fit if someone had called her "Liza" in school. It was Jarrow, always Jarrow, sometimes Miss Jarrow.

As he spoke, he could see a look of faint horror on Mia's face when he mentioned chocolate frogs. Perhaps she didn't like them either? He was relieved to find that he wasn't the only one who found the idea of eating animated chocolate disturbing.

Laughing as Mia delved a little deeper into Tremaine's interest in Antipodean Opaleyes. He responded in like. "Future herbologist, Miss Shelby, the pleasure is all mine. My dragons are very well, thank you. Yes, indeed, my newly acquired Antipodean Opaleye egg is nearly ready to hatch. I traveled all of New Zealand and half of Autralia, searching the valleys in hopes of finding one of these wonderful creatures. As you can see here," he held up an imaginary egg. "The egg has already begun to crack. It is not, in fact, a fossilized football, as so many people believe." Tremaine, who had managed to keep a straight face through this whole thing, cracked a smile. "I plan on feeding it kangaroos and joeys for breakfast, lunch, and supper."
