"Fence!"
Chatt backed his steps once more from the match. A slight hope where Nick would give gut on the piste, the first match of the day exhibiting to be a bore would grieve disappointment past the barriers. Nick gave the boy his age—refereeing the match—an impression he'd be certainly someone who kept one's shoulder to the wheel. Better yet to assume, it was the accelerating fear within him.
This one given he'd been exponentially eager to handle his first Summer Camp—hoped along the way it wouldn't ease this thrill out. Ebony in her stance, Nick lowered his blade.
Chatt, had he crossed his arms to look serious, gave its life away as it slowly dropped onto his sides. He'd watch as Nick took off his helmet slowly—once again—aura-farming. A setback with the first match. He placed his index onto his temples, slowly kneading it and walked towards him. Listening to Nicks plea, pushing his hair back, stopping it mid-way to scratch in confusion then fixing it in its place. Retreating back to his former.
He cleared his throat. "Fencer on the left wishes to Forfeit." His voice, rang out loud. He'd raise his hand to the right.
"Victory to the right."
Applause followed through, an unexpected conclusion. Both fencers approached one another into the middle, shaking their hands to a not-so-fair match. Chatt gave his direction to Avery's. Eyeing her ongoing match, he'd sigh.
But as the first one went down, the next went up. He shouldn't pour his mind onto the first one. There were evenly more to come.
