Innis smiled at the two. "Your more of a nerd than me at times, Oliver. Naming all of those.. constellations, correct? Where even is Orion?"
Innis sat up, grabbing a band from her bag, then tying her braid up, along with the rest of her hair. She glanced around, sighing. "I mean, some Slytherins are bad. But.. I guess I'm not too bad. Maybe I am. But that opinion can't be proven a fact by me." Innis turned to Kendra. "Is that your full name? Oh, and by the way, you're really pretty. I'm surprised you aren't swarmed by all the boys. As I say it.. Oliver, how about you try to pull a flirty pun up?" Innis joked, laughing. "I'm kidding. Please don't."
She turned to Oliver, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, I don't like Gryffindor. I mean, they are so stuck up- I guess that's not all of them, but seriously. They could use some sense." Innis glanced at Kendra. "You are Ravenclaw, I'm guessing? Sorry if we are making you feel uncomfortable with our statements. Oliver judgemental and likes to gossip, and I just have an opinion about it."
Innis looked down, and fiddled with her robe, flicking the silver laces around. Her nose twitched, and her eyes furrowed. "Have you guys looked through your books? They are exciting. Especially 'Fantastic beasts and where to find Them'."

Kendra gradually became warmed up to the others, sitting up and smiling a little. still not fully accustomed. the other girl seemed nice. it was amusing how these two people would become unlikely friends.
"U-Uh..My full name is Kendra Yanagi no ki. but usually people address me as Kendra Yanagi. Or just Kendra.. And thank you...i don't really get comments on my looks often. You're really pretty too." She laughed. it wasn't everyday a girl tells her she's pretty. a light pink dusted across her face.
"I-I really love the mythology behind Orin, it's why it's my favorite constellation. basically Artemis and Orin fell in love. and Apollo got jealous of how close they were. it was rumored that apollo liked orin but sources vary. So he sent a scorpion which is the star sign Scorpio to sting him. and Artemis was grief stricken and sent him up to live with the stars...Oh crap..Im rambling."
Kendra trailed off. her favorite hobby was to figure out the mythos behind all constellations. it was fascinating how other cultures interpret the stars in the night sky.
"Did you know that in greek mythology, Leo the lion was the lion that Hercules strangled to death because he could not be killed by iron, Bronze or stone? Very fascinating.."

"D'aww," Innis smiled. "But you're prettier. Anyway, I don't know a thing about mythology. I knows the gods, I guess, but I focus on different things- like studying. Reading the books."
"Now.. Oliver! You need to learn your classes for the world's sake, I can't always be your guide to everything. When you marry someone, they'll divorce in the first 2 days because of your pestering." Innis teased, her voice light. "If you do get married, of course. Anyway, how can you tell what the constellations are? The stars shapes? Like connect the lines?"
Innis looked to where Oliver was looking, and her expression was more relaxed than it had been when she came up. She put her backpack against her chest, and she laid out, staring up. "Try to find one that looks like a wand, or something."
Innis pulled out her wand, and studied it. "Mine's chestnut wood and dragon heartstring. Kendra, Oliver, what are yours made of?" She asked, looking at the two, curious. "Not to be included into your situations or whatever, I'm just curious," Innis pulled on a smile, and traced her finger along the tip of the wand, then put it away, yawning. "I'm tired now."

Oliver rose his hands at Innis.
"Bah! I'm sorry for having an interest, Merlin!"
He closed the book again, putting it away. "And Innis, I don't know any flirts. People's feelings are unimportant when it comes to that. Plus, aren't we eleven? I'd like to wait until I'm able to have a broom, at least." He rolled his eyes at her, leaning his head back.
"I don't know much about mythology as I'd like. I mean, I know the basics from Disney, but I don't doubt there's more. You think that there were any Greek wizards? I mean, it seems far-fetched, but it'd make sense for some of the crazy stuff the gods did. Just some cool gods. I bet they were Gryffindors." Oliver grinned, raising a brow.
"I'll learn my classes, bloody hell, I think I have a scroll somewhere." He felt around his cloak, pulling out a small scroll. "Here it is." He looked at the scroll, disregarding what else Innis said, before rolling it back up and putting it in his cloak.
"I already forgot it. Ah, I'll just ask a Hufflepuff. Anyways, you could just point out any five stars that looks kind of like a worm and call it a wand," He pulled out his wand. "This is a wand. 33.1 centimeters, cherry wood, and snallygaster heartstring. Attracted to--" He thought for a second. "Was it the adventurous, or lucky? Either or, I like it." Oliver said, waving it a bit. "Aren't Snallygasters those weird armless bird dragons?"

Kendra pulled out her own, from her satchel. it wasn't as impressive but she still liked it.
"21.8 cm Cherry wood and Phoenix feather..Very brittle and attracted to the naturally lucky..Ollivander and i go a little ways back..I think my Aunty Hinata used to date him? im not sure.."
She giggled at the two wizards bickering about other constellations, flirting, and wands.
"Mythlology is very important. And yes there were Greek wizards. but they were from all houses. You know the 4 winds? based off each Hogwarts house , North wind was Slytherin, East wind was Ravenclaw, West wind was Gryffindor, and South wind was Hufflepuff. im not sure why but the god of the west winds shows up a lot in stories.."
She grinned at the two, it was really cool that the other wizards had similar interests. well at least the boy had an interest in the stars. maybe she shouldn't have judged them so quickly.
"Oliver. Snallygasters are half bird half reptile..They are only native to North America..I think my mom saw one once..I-I could be wrong. but yes they are armless, as far as i know. But they weren't a dragon, that's what they were rumored to be. but it's just a half bird, half reptile."

Oliver listened closely to Kendra. He grinned.
"Of course the North wind is Slytherin. The keenest wind!"
Oliver sneered, laughing softly. He carefully put his wand between his sleeves, before turning back to the girls. "And the reason why the god of the West shows up more is because Gryffindors are natural heros. Brave, rash, adventurous, the perfect protagonist. Slytherin are the villians, of course." Oliver rolled his eyes. "But that's just because we're willing to give people up for a good goal! Hufflepuffs are the sidekick, and Ravenclaws are the love interest. That's just my go at it, though." Oliver shrugged, leaning back. He loved being a Slytherin with his whole being, it was just dumb that his cleverness could be mistaken for sly foolery. He hadn't seen very many Slytherin heros yet, let alone ones who didn't die untimely deaths.
"When I grow up, I'll be known everywhere as the world's best Auror. Kids will want to be a Slytherin, and I'll finally give it a good name. I'll be able to name any spell off the top of my head, no doubt, and I'll have a record of Auror-ing! Auring? Aureer?" Oliver frowned. "Whatever. People will love me, anyways. I feel bad for the poor muggles who won't be able to see me succeed. How would it feel to have no magic? With how some Hufflepuffs look so far, not so good." Oliver snickered at the last part.
"Anyways, what do you two want to be when you grow up?"

Innis yawned, suddenly looking tired and worn. She stretched, and packed her stuff back up. "My goodness, I'm exhausted," She sat back down, leaning against the stone.
Folding her hands in her lap, she glanced at the two first-years. "What's it like in Ravenclaw, Kendra? Like.. the riddles and stuff. To people even care?" Her eye lids drooped, but Innis was intent on listening to Kendra. "Oh, and Oliver, what's your favourite mythical god? Since you know all the constellations, of course."
Innis opened a journal, and started to sketch a creature from "Fantastic beats and where to find Them". "Oh, and Kendra, where are you from? Oliver and I are from Edinburgh Scotland, we met at a spelling bee. But it'd be interesting to know where you from, if you'd like to say it,"
She sat up a bit, more keen to pay attention after she'd started something. Innis slid her legs closer till they reached her chest, and she wrapped her arms around them, resting her chin on her knees.
Her clipped braid fell from it's place, and drifted across her face till it landed half-way across. She blinked in slight annoyance, and brushed it away, hand falling to her side.

Kendra observed innis and how exhausted she was. but she continued to respond to both questions anyways.
"Ravenclaw is..Interesting..It's a stereotype that all Ravenclaws are Introverted Brainiacs. But it's not true..i mean i am smart but im a big extrovert. i love people and meeting others..and some Ravenclaws are really not bright! My friend Sally Walker once walked into a pole! How silly!"
Kendra started reminiscing on the hilarious memory. trying to hide her laugh, but ended up snorting instead.
"Where im from? Well..Im from a lot of places..My parents are not the most functional family..My mom tries to hide me from my dad..He hits my mom and Aunty Hinata when he hears news...my Father is Korean and my mother is Japanese. My Aunty hinata moved my family to London from my hometown Tokyo when i was 5. and i've been there since. living with my aunty, dad, and mom!"
Kendra smiled. she hoped that it wasn't too personal. Kendra turned to oliver and tried to answer as many questions as possible.
"Both my parents are muggles..But my Aunty Hinata is a wizard. and she used to be a shopkeeper in diagon alley before i was born. i want to be a Potions master. it seems really interesting to have the knowledge of putting random stuff into a liquid and it makes things! that's awesome!"
Kendra wondered if she said too much. But then she shrugged it off. since Kendra was muggle born she doesn't know much about manners or any other sorts.

Innis nodded, half drifting away. "Cool," She murmured. "I want to be a herbology master. I know quite a few of the fungus types and herbs, so-" The sentence was interrupted by a massive yawn. Innis blinked, eyes furrowing.
"Ravenclaw aren't brainiacs? Interesting. I mean.. not all Slytherins are some bad killer people who preform horrible spells. Some are complete nerds." Innis's head leaned back, and she blinked tiredly. "Do you think I'll pass Hogwarts? And become a full wizard? How cool would it be if I could become a herbology professor! Teach students of all the wonders.." She sighed, and wrung her hands. "But what are the chances of me getting that privilege? Like.. zero."
Innis blinked at Oliver with her tired eyes. "What do you want to be, again? I forgot. Some evil Dark Arts Professor who tortures his students?" She smiled warily, her icy blue gaze glimmering. "I think Kendra would be an amazing Potions Professor. We could all be professors- with old stories that we bore the kids to death." Innis laughed a bit, her chuckle dry. Her chest heaved, and she stretched. "But then again.. things might change in the period of time. Only the future holds what is yet to come,"
Innis slid down further, leaning on her backpack.

Oliver looked at Innis with tired eyes. "I don't know any mythical gods. Just stars." He looked up at the sky, silent for a few good minutes. He simply listened to the girls talk, while trying to brush away tire. He yawned, putting his hand over his mouth.
"I want to be an Auror when I grow up. It's a reach, but that's why I'm trying to get tops on all studies. Also, shut up Innis. You absolute idiot, I talk about being am A ur or all the time." He scoffed at her, glaring. "But if I don't get it, I might just be a Defense Against The Dark Arts Professor. Maybe Astronomy, but that can get really boring. Dark Arts allows you to get hands on, and I'd want to actually teach kids what to do instead of an hour of boring them." Oliver ranted on, leaning his head on his hand. He yawned, standing up and facing the girls. "I think it's time to sleep. It would not be particularly nice to get a strike on my school record for being up too late." He joked lightly, however it sounded serious. Oliver leaned over to his bag, grabbing it and slinging it over his shoulder. He reached for his books, holding them to his chest and giving the biggest smile he could manage; quite frankly a grimace. "It was very nice meeting you, Kendra, and perhaps you could gossip with me and Innis sometime. You seem fairly tolerable." He nodded, turning around sharply and walking off, down the stairs.
