Well round two had all kinds of fireworks this round!! Josh casted his spell first. Incendio duo! He casted it at Lucian. Lucian must not have been paying too much attention cause he did not evade very well. The spell hit him, causing him to catch on fire! Millie also cast Incendio at Lauren. There must be something going on between Lauren and Millie because it seemed the two were always targeting each other. Millie's incendio also hit. Thankfully, this one did not catch Lauren on fire or she would be screwed. Next Lauren cast Flipendo on Millie. It also hit her and the girl went flying backwards. But just as she was getting up, Lucian hit her with another Flipendo an the girl flew back once again. Lily had to wince. Hit by two flipendo's in a row hurt. Then again, hit by one Incendio's h And the fact that everyone actually hit their intended target was amazing in of itself. Not one duel she had moderated so far had that happen. These two teams were lucky as well as unlucky. Josh had no spell cast on him so he was still good to go. The other three had better be good at evading...

________________________________________This time Josh didn't wait around for someone else to act, he was the first one to cast a spell this round, and he was determined not to mess up like before. "Incendio Duo!" He aimed his wand at Lucian, and it hit so well, probably because he acted so unexpectedly that it caught him off guard. The effect was immediate, Lucian immediately caught aflame. He hoped he didn't hurt him too badly. Millie was next to act, and she seemed determined herself to get revenge on Lauren for them both targeting her. What was really going on between these two? He didn't have a clue, but he didn't care because it was really pushing Millie to perform her best. She cast Incendio at Lauren, and it hit her as well. Fortunately she didn't catch aflame, they were opponents but he didn't want her to get seriously injured. Any bit of remorse he had instantly vanished after what happened next. First Lauren cast Flipendo at Millie, and it hit her, causing her to go flying backwards. Alright, that must mean Lucian was going to try and use a spell on him? Surprisingly not, before Millie could even regain composure Lucian cast Flipendo at her and she went flying backwards once again. Millie seemed like a tough person, however painful those two spells must have been she didn't let it bring her down completely. "Are you okay?" he asked her in a concerned voice. His first ever duel, two rounds in and he had not sustained a scratch yet. It wasn't that remarkable, but what was remarkable was that he was basically being left alone by his opponents.

___The girl tightening the grip on her wand. Barely hold herself together, she straightening her posture back. Eyes locked on the ground. Looking at how drip by drips of her sweat drenching her footing. Not totally flooding but still bothering.
___Hearing her teammate asking how she was doing after that obvious deal, Millie could only nodded her head, saying nothing, looking at nothing. She appreciated Josh's concerned but she hopes it's not more than that too the point of pity.
___Think. They are too persistent. It's not impossible they will do the exact certain thing again, and again, and again, until she totally finished. Not that she didn't understand why they—no, she—makes a strategy this unbalance. She do understand. The Snake likes to bet. Or do they just know or/and wanted to do the simplest thing? Think. What should she do? What should we do? It's not literally a live-death situation but still. Think.
___She took a deep breath, then exhale. Eyes looking forward. Smiling. "Yes, I'm alright," she voiced her confirmation to her teammate, glancing at him with the same flat smile curved on her face. Stretching her joints which took an impact of the previous attacks, she looking back forward. Straight to her opponents. "Let's just finish it."

───── "Flipendo!!" He cast the spell and smiled as it hit his target. He watched as his partner's spell also hit the same person. A smirk appeared on his face but that smirk turned into a frown when he was hit with the fire spell. It sparked memories of the past that he would rather forget. He shook his head as if trying to get rid of the fire but it wasn't that easy to get rid of it. He looked around and saw Lauren get hit with a fire spell too. What the heck were they up to? He was not sure of it at all. But he held his wand in his hand tightly and kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to give a piece of his mind to the opponents.
"Just focus, Lauren. We can do it!!" Lucian said encouraging his partner. He wanted to do well and win this duel. Not that he was going to get anything from it but still he was getting practice out of it. He wanted to learn as much as he could. To be honest, he was getting a lot of practice and would be prepared for his own house's team.

𝕬ll the spells had managed to hit their intended target.
A smile tugged at her lips as she watched her's and Lucian's Knockback Jinxes hit Millie square on the chest. She had undoubtedly been amazed by how terrifyingly accurate their aim was. They hit her. They hit her. Lauren was going to get revenge on Millie Ann for the incident, and she would never hear the end of the young blonde's wrath. In a more impartial perspective, wrath was one of Lauren's fatal flaws, but the young Slytherin had viewed it as a strength.
Lauren had changed more than she would have admitted since first year. She shrugged off the thoughts fiercely as she could as she sensed what was in store for her. Another minute of the whispers in her mind, and the Slytherin would forget what she was trying to achieve, even what she was doing. She would lose all her motivation to win, and she couldn't let that happen. She owed it to Lucian to defeat the opposing team. But at least Millie seemed dangerously close to being knocked out, and Lauren couldn't suppress a snort of amusement.
Sadly, though, both she and Lucian had been hit by Millie's and Josh's spells. She learnt that she couldn't have everything in life years ago, and a simple, adrenaline-rendering duel would never be able to change her mindset. At least, it had better not, or Lauren was never going to participate in another duel ever again.
She looked back at her partner, who seemed to be encouraging her and making sure that the team was strong. She felt a faint tug of guilt; her full attention should have been to the duel, not her own mind. Managing to nod with what she hoped to be promise, Lauren held her wand ready for the next round of chaos.
