Burning Tears Open Closed

Koko could hardly even feel it anymore. Shooting a small, close-lipped smile at the other Ravenclaw, she tried to stand up but found she was too tired. "Again, thank you very much for your help." Watching the other Slytherin--Luna--roll her eyes, Koko scanned her demeanor. She seemed somewhat dismissive of Koko, and still a bit submissive herself. She seemed to be viewing Koko as a scared child, not one who was only out of her comfort zone. Trying to voice that fact, Koko added, "I'm not really nervous if that's how it seems. People just don't usually want to help me, so I'm a bit taken aback." She finally slid off of the hospital bed, making her way over to the other girls. She felt the strength come back to her legs, first starting in little pins and needles that informed her that her left leg had fallen asleep prior to her awakening. "I'm Koko, Koko Riddle," she added in response to the Ravenclaw's question. "And you are?" She was about to hold her hand out for a handshake but she then moved it, unsure if people still did proper handshakes. It was nice meeting someone from another house--she knew too many Slytherins. Koko adjusted her robes, which were crooked, and she tried not to fidget with her wand, something she would do every once in a while. She smiled nonchalantly, throwing away the pain that had already left her. "Nice to meet you, both of you."
