It is not widely known in British wizarding society that Cecilia is a wizardborn rather than a pureblood due to efforts made by her grandmother to conceal this. They also have close affiliations with other pureblood families (actual characters). There may be rumours. However, her mother often refused to talk about her family whilst in London so her origins were obscure to those who were not close to her. I could certainly see her grandparents forcing her to attend this, though she would feel quite unnerved. Which would be brilliant.

Hey! I was wondering if I could make an exception for Angel? Although she's halfbreed, her family has made quite a name. Making them in the radar somewhat. Being in a room full of purebloods she can blend in. Events like this can help her become well versed in the glamour of her life. Knowing her family, they'll be very proud to hear Angel herself is leaning towards the rich life.

(not forcing!! But this would really fit well in Angel's summer due to her attending many events from here on out!)
