take me home, country road completed

"i fear i can not go back to diagon alley till next october," asha dramatically sighed, chanelling what she learned in theater class as a kid. dramatic irony was the best kind of irony. "my father hates that shop! he's always complaining about how people at the office are always playing pranks on him, it's hilarious, and i love it!" asha laughed.
her father was so strict and uptight, so to loosen him up a bit, his coworkers liked to play tricks on him, with asha usually joining in. asha never got caught, and though he nearly fired his very hardworking secretary over a prank, 5 year old asha convinced him not to fire him (the secretary).
asha took a moment to take in her surroundings. the library was nearly empty as it was nearly dinner time.
"i really want to go buy snacks from a korean grocery store, the one near my mums apartment sells these really spicy chips, and they taste sooooooooo good. i should write that to my mum in my letter! i'll ask for chips, do you want anything?" asha brushed. the hair from her face, lifting her quill to write again.
p. s.

love, asha <3
