Oh she wanted to cut this wrinkled rotting prune's tongue off. She instead smiled passive aggressively as she also listened in. Perhaps a habit she picked up from being with this guy in dueling too much. Ew she was getting old man habits. Listening in a bit, guess the centuries of experience in being an annoying bastard did them good—this was good shit. Ara finally noticed that the one giving the gossip was no other than her dearest cousin, Azzure.. Well there goes the fun (actually, not really, she didn't care as much as long as it entertained her) She whispered a "Proud of ya" to Ava after they insulted the unimportant block of ancient dirt. Though Ara too did wonder who Azzure was in all of this. Who told that kid to have a better love life than her? Is this what being an only child is like? This darn kid. She also wondered who's Dennis, Violence, Meyra, and whoever is also involved in this 12-year-old love pentagon whatever drama. Ava dared her to confront the old butt hair. A name that she was hearing for the first time, Violence Bloodthorn. Now that was an interesting name. So this Violence is Dennis’ new girl? Really now, since when did they break up? How come Meyra never mentioned it? Hold up, did she even have the right to know about something personal? Perhaps not. That made her hum as she continued to listen, letting her gaze wander to the pair in front of her and to whoever was behind them.
“Why did you break up with him?”
Good question. She too, wanted to know. She had so many questions right now which could probably rival that of this person who had introduced herself as Azzure Solace. From what she had so far, Azzure seems close to Dennis’ new girlfriend and that seemed to be bothering her… like a lot. Good friend huh… The older Gryffindor thought, tapping her finger on the table once more. As much as she wanted to keep watching them as she eavesdropped, the people behind them were more… eyecatching, one being so obvious that he was listening in much like herself.
Oh. Ohhhh, was that… the guy that failed his Confringo a lot of times? She knows that face anywhere despite her poor memory in remembering faces and people. His performance in a certain duel had been engraved in her mind that he had become someone she could recognize. So, the people with him… her classmates huh, Ara Villa and Ava Winchect. Never knew he was good friends with them… actually, never mind. Wasn’t Ara hurling insults after insults at him during their Duel? Poor Mahlioz had to put up with their antics and she couldn’t blame Ara either.

Azzure froze.
The jab to her chest — the way Meyra said those words so easily as if it was a given. It rubbed Azzure wrong.
She didn't want to believe it, didn't want to even think that she somehow fucked up so hard that Violence — the only person who was on her side, had chose to leave without a word. For choosing a guy after everything they've been through.
Was it always Dennis? Was Azz only fleeting fling for her? Did Azzure misread what they have — has Violence never really liked her?
So much was running through Azzure's brain — her eyes fell to the floor, a pit growing in her stomach.
The silence lasted for barely 15 seconds, but it felt like forever. The only thing that broke the stalemate was Azzure's hand slowly coming up to pull Meyra's hand way from where it pointed at her chest, setting it down uncharacteristically gently on the table.
"I'm sorry I jumped you about this subject." Azzure drawled, her voice low as if Azzure was choosing her words carefully. Perhaps she was being a bit too forthcoming, perhaps this was a bad idea—but Azz wasn't thinking clearly.
Azzure was angry. At Violence, or at herself, at Dennis— semantics didn't matter, Meyra had stretched an already open wound.
"I'm not letting him have her without making him jealous first... Do ya wanna take some anger out? Maybe pull a prank or two?"
As Azzure spoke, she leaned in, looking at Meyra straight in the eye. The lovestruck girl was nowhere to be seen, replaced with something sharper.
If Dennis wanted Violence, Azz will make sure he feels every ounce of paranoia and jealousy he made her feel.
