Anna walked to the cashier, but there was a small line in front of it.
"I guess people who work in hospitals have a lot of unexpected shifts...", the blue-eyed answered. "My mom has them sometimes, too."
How could an auror not have unexpected shifts from time to time? It was only natural. Though Anna could understand a mother having unexpected shifts, the little Blackberry failed to Nova's annoyed tone, and any displease in her voice or expression that was noticed would have been related to not having her mother's presence in the moment.
"I never went to Florean Forstec--For--That. How is it like? I mean, what even is it? And, and, you also have brothers? I didn't know! Are they younger or older? Wait, let me guess, younger? Because you mentioned they're kids?"
And she began to get hyped again, forgetting the line.
"I have a younger brother, his name's Oliver, he's super cute! And annoyingtoo, but my auntsays that prettymuchallyoungersiblingsliketoannoytheiroldersibling, well, she says my dad used to LOVE annoying her backthenbut I'm not sure if it's true?? He was supposed to enter in Hogwarts this year but he actually decided to travelwithmy aunt, the one I just mentioned, instead of coming with me to Hogwarts like he always promised... Bummer. I'd love to annoy the life out of him here. Oh, what are your siblings's name? And since you said 'two kids', you have two siblings?? I think I'd go crazy with two Olivers..."

Anna giggled upon being asked if her mother was a Healer.
"My mom doesn't heal injuries, it's pretty far from that. She's an Auror."
It eventually was Anna's time on the line, and so she paid for Cloud's treats, who soon began to try and steal them off of his owner's hand. Hearing that Nova's brother was also an Oliver, the little Blackberry giggled.
"If your brothers have red hair, they'll be clones. Your sister's name is so cute..."
Anna began to move towards the exit, and seemed curious about the "Florean Fortescue" store.
"You know, I never really went to the Florean Forsteky--Florean Forstec--"
A frustrated sigh escaped from her lips, but she brushed it off.
".......That ice cream store. I haven't gone to any ice cream stores before, either... We could go there!", she declared cheerfully. "My parents are in the Apothecary Shop though, but if they happen to pass by, it'd be nice if our parents got to meet! I'm sure my mother would like you."
To be fair, Bethany Blackberry likes the majority of Earth's population, and the exceptions are truly very few. Then again, she also made a significant amount of enemies in her school time.
At last, Anna walked outside the store again, took the tasty looking owl treat, and carefully handed it to Cloud, who looked at it as if it was a handful of ambrosia handed by Hera herself. He quickly took it from the blue-eyed girl's hand and began to savor it, finally satisfied.
"Aww, you like it, don't you, boy?", she squeaked, stroking one of her fingers on the owl's wings. He allowed her to.
"Now that Cloud has his treat, I want mine. We should go to the ice cream store now."
Anna raised her head back to Nova, allowing the little owl to joyfully eat his oh-so desired little treat.
