"Oh, I would love that, thank you!" Lucille let out as Maisie offered help with broom racing. Lucille was certainly not as proficient as other children on a broom, with most of her childhood having been spent doing more Muggle activities than wizard ones. She knew the basics, but already there were some children in her year who could do amazing things on a broom, and Lucille was not one of them.
As Maisie talked of the dresses she had sewn, Lucille's eyes seemed to widen. She found tailoring and stitching and sewing so intriguing; the mere idea of taking some fabric and turning it into a beautiful garment was fascinating. Lucille thought back to her own booth at summer camp when Maisie mentioned hers, with the bouquets. She was about to mention it, before remembering that Maisie already knew of it.
"Well, I suppose you already know of my passion for flowers. Other than that, I enjoy art. I can never get the hang of painting, but I do enjoy sketching and inking." Lucille's voice was bright and energetic now, remnants of sleep completely gone as she turned into her normal self.
They reached the door, and Maisie said her goodbyes. "You certainly will. I love coming here," Lucille said, looking back over her shoulder at the library once more. She opened the door, and spoke again. "This was nice, and thank you for waking me up. I look forward to the next time I see you." It was perhaps a more formal goodbye than usual, but the excitable tone in her voice made it feel warm and inviting. With that, Lucille exited the library, making her way to the Gryffindor dorms.
