As Boris settled into his bed, he greeted the guests and took a quick look around. The fact that at least one of the people who came after him knew his cousin was a relief to the boy. Since Alliasta would be dealing not only with himself but also with his friend, he would have a little more time to himself. He will stay here for the duration of an event involving Hogwarts and other students, so he'd have to get used to it. It was a nice place, and the tent seemed spacious and comfortable. He hoped his guests weren't troublemakers. When the girl who introduced herself as Nova stepped forward, he listened calmly, trying to analyze her speech and movements—it was always good to be vigilant. Then his cousin jumped in, introduced himself, and mentioned Boris. Boris sighed, hoping no one would be bothered by Alliasta. "Yeah yeah I am her cousin. I am not study in Hogwarts my school is Durmstrang. And I will be third class" Boris introduced himself with a stylish and elegant voice, trying to be polite and formal, but still sporting a playful smile. He ran his hands through his hair, relaxing a bit. He didn't want people to see him as harsh, especially since he was such a gentleman. |

ᗩsai could feel the energy in the room shifting — light, fast, impossible to keep up with. The Japanese boy’s eyes darted upward as a blonde-haired boy with a tone tinted by teasing acknowledged him, welcoming him.
A brow furrowed as Asai flinched slightly, hands still placed in his lap like it was all he had control of. Which, in truth, it was — but the others didn’t need to know that.
He nodded back as a different girl with light brown curls also smiled towards him. Nova’s voice was warm and confident. Another girl, with black curls like soft night, was bright and unfiltered. Alliasta was her name, as he had come to know. She brought a sense of energy in. Another boy with pearly white hair, Boris, introduced himself, he had a polite but steady voice.
Everyone spoke easily, like they’d been waiting for this. Like stepping into a room full of strangers wasn’t the hardest thing in the world.
He tried to smile — small, quick, polite — and his fingers fidgeted with the hem of his jumper, twisting the fabric between them.
Knowing it was futile to slip quietly into the background, Asai drew in a breath and spoke up, voice steadier this time. “I’m Asai,” he said again. It took him a heartbeat too long to realize he’d already introduced himself. He winced internally, a silent oh no, but tried his best to keep a straight face.
He paused, hesitating for a brief moment, before he continued. “I’m… uh, from Mahoutokoro. Second year.”
He hesitated, unsure what to do with his hands now that all eyes had flicked toward him. The silence stretched for a half-second too long before he gave a small nod, as if that might seal the awkwardness away. “It’s… really nice to meet everyone.”
there seemed to be a short pause before another boy, all suave confidence, spoke up. He ran his hands through his hair, and Asai turned his gaze to the ground.

ℭCaspian grinned widely at Nova as she responded, amused by her flat tone. He wasn’t sure if she’d meant to sound that unimpressed, but that was half the charm — she didn’t have to try. Everyone in the room began introducing themselves in turn, and Caspian leaned back slightly, taking them all in with a curiosity that was quiet. filing away names and little details.
He made a mental note to remember their names, though he knew some of them might slip through the cracks later. From bright and cheery Alliasta, whose energy filled the place with easy warmth, to shy, soft-spoken Asai, who looked as though he might rather melt into the background. The contrast between them made Caspian’s mouth twitch faintly.
He turned toward Nova again, his expression softening slightly as he caught the faint glint of amusement in her eyes before she looked away.
He found himself smiling before he realized it, quickly covering it by shifting his weight and sitting down on his chosen bed. The mattress dipped beneath him as he dropped down comfortably, elbows braced on his knees for a moment before he leaned back, exhaling. The exhaustion from the day hitting him. he wasn’t sure if it was from the journey itself or the endless introductions and formalities that came with going and also meeting people somewhere new. “You two should probably choose a bed,” he called out, glancing toward Alliasta and her cousin with a faint smile.
He nodded toward the vacant ones that were placed across the room, and couldn't help but wonder which one of them would end up snoring the loudest. He was already picturing himself tossing a pillow at whoever it turned out to be in the middle of the night.
Reaching up, he ran a hand through his hair to push it back, only to have it fall right back into place in that usual, but infuriating disarray. A faint resignd sigh escaped him. He’d long since accepted it, There was no winning with it, his hair had made that clear. It had its own plans, much like everything else in his life. It was ridiculous, but at least it was consistent.
Leaning back on his elbows, he cast another quick glance around the place. “So,” he said after a moment, tone casual but laced with that edge of curiosity, “any of you planning to actually sleep tonight, or are we all just going to pretend to unpack until morning?” He paused a moment's while, thoughtful. “Or,” he added, tone lightening, “maybe we could play a small game or something — something to get to know each other better.”

Nova blinked in surprise as she processed what Caspian proposed they all do to pass the time. A game when the majority of them hadn't even opened their bags and suitcases yet? She snorted amusedly, wondering if it would be something absurd like dunking their heads in the pond for the longest or maybe just truth or dare, but with some sort of twist. Knowing Caspian, absolutely nothing was off the table.
She shifted on her feet, turning to face him with a raised eyebrow. "A game? We haven't even been in this tent for more than 20 minutes yet, and you want to cause chaos?" She asked, tone lighthearted as she glanced around the room once again. They all should probably wind down a little, but with the current assortment of people inside the tent, it seemed as if a quiet afternoon wasn't possible.
Alliasta seemed to be vibrating enough to power the whole campsite, and Boris had probably aged a few years just by standing next to her. Poor Asai looked like someone had dropped him into a live talent show he’d never auditioned for, trying to hide away and blend into the background. Caspian sprawled across his bed like he was posing for a magazine, and Nova rolled her eyes just to counterbalance his entire existence.
The more she looked at everyone, the more she realized it might actually help to break the ice. “Well…” She tapped her fingertips together thoughtfully on her thigh. “I guess starting camp with something fun doesn’t sound awful.” Then she raised a finger sharply, aiming it at Caspian accusingly. “But I swear, if your idea of an icebreaker is Truth or Dare on the first night…” She paused for effect. “…I’ll go sleep in the forest with the frogs. And don’t think I won’t.”
