Alone together  Private: Clodagh O’Donnell   Finished
Olivia was relieved when Clodagh changed the subject. Books were much easier to talk about. Olivia held up the book and showed it to her. “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander,” Olivia replied, smiling a little. “I love that book. It gives a very good picture of magical creatures. Newt and I have very similar views on creatures, and he was a magizoologist, just like my mother.” Olivia felt a small lump in her throat but swallowed quickly.

“I really like reading. This is one of my favorite books too,” Olivia said, rooting for Quidditch Through the Ages. “Even though I’m not that interested in Quidditch in general, it’s a very interesting read.”

Then Olivia felt the train start to lose speed. She looked out the window and saw Hogwarts far away. "It's just as magnificent as ever," Olivia said, looking at the castle.

She packed up her books and looked at Clodagh. “Nice to share a compartment with you,” Olivia said, closing her suitcase. “Good luck now and hope you have a good year.”

Then the train started to slow down and outside the window Hogsmeade station appeared. Olivia stood up and when the train stopped completely she disappeared out of the compartment.

A new year at Hogwarts was here.
