Welcome to the second page of Pyce's ency. While the first page is all completely relevant to Pyce and the story I'm building, this page is less so. There will be less coding, less drawings, and as you might already be able to tell, an out of character approach that wasn't there earlier.

As Pyce's twin, Hecate probably has the most notes on him (aside from Stella- But most of her information is much newer than anything Hecate has.) And while I have plans for both twins that span nearly all of their school years, Pyce's is a lot more fluid, with most of their things (stats, abilities, events) plotted out. Hecate on the other hand, has fewer things worked out, but what he does have is far more concrete, picked out to either be a stand-alone and thus not need to play off of Pyce, or something directly interacting with one of their events. For example, Hecate will eventually have the Nonverbal Magic ability, with its presence mainly there for emphasis. (The emphasis being that he doesn't use nonverbal magic because he is panicking.) But in general, Hecate would be referred back to more often than any other single character that I've made for Pyce (Including Stella, sorry girl.) Being twins, and incredibly close twins at that, it only makes sense that Hecate is doing something that Pyce might offhandedly mention.

So this post will act as a Hecate tracker of sorts, that I, or anyone who may want to, can see what he is/will be up to. It's got basic info (all the stuff an ency needs, as well as his eventual abilities (minus the stats. I am not working that out, sorry Cate. I am a liar apparently)) and a vague timeline that tends to go hand in hand with whatever Pyce has got going on. Please keep in mind that while he is currently a first year, I'm just offloading everything I have for Hecate so far, so things that would be unlocked in later years are going to be filled out for the sake of convience.

While near completely identical to Pyce, there are a few differences here and there that may help to tell them apart more easily. Hecate has noticeably more freckles than Pyce. His hair is also much longer, going down to about his mid back and is dyed white. Like Pyce, Hecate also has glasses, and while his are still round, they are smaller and silver.

Hecate is very mischievous and cunning. While he doesn't share his brother's wit, Hecate is smart in his own right. He's an absolute prankster, but quite empathetic and friendly as well. If you're kind and polite to him, he tends to respond in kind. And if you're not? Well- Hecate is not against cruel pranks.

If you befriend him, he is loyal to a fault. If someone tried to turn Hecate against his friends, they would find this incredibly difficult, if not impossible. However, if anyone, friend or not, tried to turn him against his brother, they would likely never see Hecate again.

Hecate is rather sneaky, walking quietly even when he isn't trying. Does he enjoy when people freak out when he suddenly appears behind him? Yes.

As a warning! Hecate is a bit of a klepto. There is not any particular pattern to what he takes, but it isn't usually important to whoever he took it from

Actually, there's going to be nothing for some time, so if I could just skip ahead real quick-

Gains animagus ability with Pyce. They specifically get this ability together

Pyce gets their birthright. Kinda spoilers for Pyce's story?-> When I used the name Pyce, I knew I was going to be passing down a certain *cough* event, that the two characters I made prior to this one share. While the method has been different every time, two things stay the same. 1.) It happens. 2.) It happens when Pyce is 16. (You may notice that a simple "Pyce survives" isn't on there. Rest assured, survival is the majority, just not a certainty. Poor Pyce #1)

Nothing is mapped out for after the "event." The only reason it got this far was that, to be honest.

Spells and Potions

This list is actually identical to Pyce's (for quite obvious reasons.) Even IC, these two would know the same set of spells. There is, however, eventually going to be an exception to this, as I have plans to give Pyce the Restricted CoMC ability later down the line. (This technically means nothing at the time I'm writing it, as there isn't anything the ability provides. Yet. Pyce is getting it either way.)

Please note: While I have no plans for Hecate to form PC relationships, if someone wants to meet or befriend him, I would not be against it. If someone asked, I would probably allow them to godmod Hecate, just so he can have something a bit more round.

I think there is something wrong with me and the fact that I need to make this.

That being said! This serves as a way to keep track of dNPC houses beyond those mentioned in Pyce's ency already while not excluding those characters either. Why am I doing that? I have plans later down the line and I fear if I don't write this here, I may contradict myself. Also, if someone is named here, they have either already been referenced, or are just related to the Rotanskis (or Drakes) in some way (for example, Baker and Watkins are both last names from Maeve's side of the family) There are a lot of faceless assumed houses since Pyce is half-pureblood. As noted previously, Pyce and Hecate hail from a long line of Ravenclaws (from Maeve's side of the family) and Slytherins (from Finn's)
