@Dennis Tumberton & @Raizel VoltrouzMeyra smiled broadly at her friends, her heart still pounding with excitement and adrenaline within her chest. She couldn't still believe that they actually managed to get that letter from her mother's office.
There was a small voice in the back of her mind that was telling her that what she did was wrong, and that she crossed a line in breaking her mother's trust. But she kept those feelings squashed under the weight of her enthusiasm and the idea that she would finally get to know the origin of that letter.
"Well...now we eat our cookies and drink our tea!" Meyra replied lightheartedly to both her friends, even if what she really wanted was to leave and open that piece of parchment that now felt like if it was itching inside her pocket.
As if summoned by her words, Harumi gracefully approached their table carrying with her their order on a silver tray, "Here it is." She said, smiling gently at them in a warm, motherly way as she placed their cups and plates in front of them on the table. "Call me if you need anything else, enjoy it!" She said before leaving them to get back to take care of the other costumers.
When her mother turned her back on them, Meyra let out a sigh she hadn't realised she had been holding, It would take some time before she could stop feeling guilty or afraid that her mother would realise what she did. "If she finds out I'm dead..." She said in a murmur still looking at her mother as she got further away from their table, with a dramatic expression.
Meyra sighed, before turning a small smile at Dennis and Raizel, "Thank you guys, you don't know how much this means to me." She said, picking up her cup between her hands and taking a first sip on her hot tea.

An important one too. Well, she's just glad that it went well and judging by how Harumi reacted when she just came to give them their drink and food, she doesn't suspect a thing. She probably didn't even notice Meyra disappearing from their table all thanks to Dennis.
“As long as she doesn't find out, you’ll be fine.” Raizel responded with a low voice, picking up her own cup to stare at the liquid. “Doesn't look like she suspects something.” She took a sip, side-eyeing where Harumi disappeared once more. It bothers her a bit on why her aunt would hide important information from her own daughter. She says it's important because Meyra had to do the whole sneaking thing complete with a plan and even a distraction to keep her own mother busy. Her real father… intriguing. Families sure love their secrets and keep their children in the dark. She should've known by now, especially with how her own family hid a side until they just couldn't keep their ties severed for too long. No, more like they came to haunt them.
“You should thank Dennis more, he gave it his all.” He did, indeed. She barely did anything other than being lookout. Although Raizel thinks he was genuinely asking about what he could get for Meyra from her mother. Did Aunt Harumi ever give him an idea though? She'll probably know if Meyra started getting giddy over an item. “So, any other plans?” Raizel asked, eyes falling back to the younger Gryffindor as she leaned back on her seat. She might have more things up her sleeves, secrets that she probably wants to unravel. The first discovery often leads to something deeper that one would want to keep diving into. Until then, she's just gonna enjoy the tea and cookies.

Secrets and Tea Leaves
Harumi circled back around to the table to bring out their order. Dennis, in typical fashion, started to snack almost before the plates were set. He ate when he was nervous. That’s not entirely true. He also ate when he was happy, sad, excited…the point is, if there was food to be had it was most assuredly going in his mouth as if by automation. He remained quiet but watchful as the girls started to figure out what their next steps were. He thought the answer was simple. Raizel was a year above him, surely she knew a slick tranfiguration spell that could be used to hide the note. They could walk out of her having given Meyra a “gift” and everything would been above suspicion. As it were, the way they set about whispering he thought it was only a matter of time before they peaked her mother’s interest.
Dennis still said nothing as he continued to eat, breaking only to drink the tea. He also paused briefly to consider Raizel’s glowing report of his diversion. If only he had learned something valuable. He did, however, managed to keep Harumi from catching his girlfriend so that was something at least. His mind turned back towards the letter and he wondered what could really be so important that she couldn’t just ask her mother about it and had to sneak in to still an envelope. He couldn’t even imagine having to sneak around his own mother to learn about his father. After all, they lived in the same house! It was definitely too late to suggest she just talk it out with her mother though. The deed was done. He looked at the pair waiting for one of them to make the next move.
