He wasn’t allowed to harm any of the students there, not even the death witch. Apparently the professor had called a temporary cease fire, even going so far as to stop demon as she tried to hit him with a book. It should have been a victorious moment for the boy, but it wasn’t. It was annoying and infuriating. He should have been the one to kill her, not the professor. Why had the professor stopped her, anyway? Just because of some stupid no fighting zone?
With both eyes mostly black, the boy fought to maintain control over something he didn’t even realize was fighting back. He was going to just walk away. Walk away as if nothing had happened and not look back. Not fight the death witch, not do battle with demon. But walk away. And so walk away he did. It had taken a herculean effort to force himself to go away, the presence of the professor the only thing keeping him in line. If the prefect stepped too far out of line, that would be it.
The professor would kill him and replace him with the next prefect. No one would even realize Kaegen had existed. And that wasn’t going to happen. Leaving the room, pupils still squirming and swarming, the young boy headed for the great lake. He was going to sit down and cool off. Listen for a bit, maybe. That would be nice.

"I was thinking that this fool was wasting space here at Hogwarts and should be dealt with, but of course no one ever knows anything about anything and what to with infestations like, him, you guys just sit here and let him say whatever he wants and hurt other people's feeling and give him chance after chance after chance. So you know what? Me, a first year Ravenclaw decided to help out everyone and get him back for being dumb, but everyone just likes to use dumb magic to do everything and not fight back with their own force. That's how weak everyone is, depending on something you don't even understand to take care of you."
Her face was red with anger, thinking she was just going to get in trouble for throwing a book when this mosquito had threatened to kill her more than once and nobody wanted to do anything about it. She was starting to not like this school, but she still wanted to learn magic to beat anyone who stood in her way. "If you're going to scold me for doing what other people are too afraid to do, then I don't care, at least someone was brave enough. Everyone is always scared of something."
Skylar glared at Kaegen. "I wish it would've hit you in the face, you stupid Bully. You hurt my friend and you won't get away with it!"

Amanda winced at the professor’s cold tone. She knew that he wasn’t particularly fond of students, so why did she expect any different. Amanda didn’t have any time to answer her own question because that’s when the slight chaos began. She was used to chaos and craziness; she had to deal with Kaegen trying to kill her every other day. And apparently, she wasn’t the only one who had been wronged by the crazy Ravenclaw Prefect.
The girl Skylar from the hospital wing stalked over angrily and threw a book at Kaegen. Amanda was just about to silently mourn for the book when Professor Barclay stopped it in midair and scolded Skylar. Then Skylar spouted off about how nobody ever stood up to Kaegen and let him get away with making death threats left and right. Amanda whole heartedly agreed with that argument. She had never once heard of any authority taking matters into their own hands and reprimanding Kaegen for his actions. Skylar’s words were a little harsh, however, but Amanda was sure that she had probably said similar things to Kaegen at one point. It was getting hard to keep track. Then Skylar said that Kaegen had hurt her friend. Amanda briefly wondered who that kid was and if they were alright.
I should probably leave while I still can. “Um, well, it’s been real nice talking to you all, but I have to go now.” Amanda turned around and scurried out of the library, taking her book with her.

Amadea, it appeared, was not having very good luck. All she wanted was a brief time to read the book that she had just finally acquired from the library in peace. Of course, she could have simply walked away and found another place to sit, but Amadea was already feeling comfortable in her nice lounge chair and didn't want to move. Unfortunately, it seemed as though some dramatic events were unfurling in front of her.
First of all, there was Kaegen Deathmote, the enigma of a Prefect who always introduced himself with a long monologue that Amadea didn't really care about. If she was being honest, he frightened her. Amadea had only interacted with the Ravenclaw a minimal amount of times (which was something she was quite grateful about) but each of those instances had been quite odd. For example, Kaegen was now asking Professor Barclay if he had permission to murder one of the other students who was in the library. Clearly, there was some bad blood between them, but resorting to killing seemed a bit over the top to Amadea.
Suddenly, the girl grabbed a book and decided to throw it at Kaegen. Amadea almost leapt out of her seat in surprise, wondering what on earth could cause such a thing to happen. Did they really despise each other that much? Sure, Kaegen was kind of weird and scary, but Amadea felt as though hurting someone else because they hurt your friend was kind of hypocritical. Plus, no one should be disrespecting anyone in the first place.
Amadea was really unsure of what to do. She really, really wanted to get the heck out of there, which seemed as though was a common thought between some of the students. One girl even scurried away while she still could. Amadea felt as though she should do something about the situation. Thankfully, Professor Barclay seemed to be handling things by himself.
"Can we all just calm down?" Amadea asked, trying to make her voice not waver too much. She looked helplessly around, wondering what she should say or do and wishing that she hadn't come here in the first place. Clearly, she had a lapse in judgement thinking this was a good spot to do some reading.

Striding into the Library, a tall boy in a blue cloak slammed into her, and kept walking out the door. Turning to stare at him, she saw it was that psychopathic Raveclaw prefect, Deathmote. How was even promoted to a prefect was an absolute mystery. He was clearly insane. Glaring at his receding back, she flipped her hair, and continued into the Library. Seeing as Professor Thurston was surrounded by a small army of students all arguing about something or other, she sighed. She wanted to discuss some *muggle* theories with him, see if they had any merit, or if wizards had managed to prove/disprove any of them. Oh well, she’d corner him later.
Wandering the book shelves, Evany searched for a multitude of titles, her mind pondering possibilities. The potential if muggle technology was combined with magic... almost anything would be possible. If they could study how apparition worked, it might hold the secret to unlimited teleportation. Evany grabbed various books off the shelves, each one containing some variation on the Multiverse Theory, Wormholes, and Interstellar Travel.
Setting them all down on a table, she sat down and opened a book titled ‘Magick and The Worlds’. Flipping through the book, she found very little mention of planets or universes, realizing instead that the book was discussing the ‘worlds’ of various magical creatures. Sighing, she put her head in her hands. Had no one even considered this before? Glancing up, she saw the argument was winding down. Finally...
