Her introduction had gone completely unnoticed; the girl who she still didn't knew the name of ignored her, too busy flirting with the host to pay her any mind. Oh, okay... Embarrassment flashed across her face and she immediately looked around, trying to act as if she hadn't just been thrown out of orbit. At least Sebastian did answer her question: No one knew how many would come, but even that felt like a mediocre response. They probably didn't mean to sound dismissive, or in the girls case, acted as if Linnéa was air. Merlin, if she hadn't regretted coming before, she definitely did now.

The next time the door opened, Lin looked over in hopefulness, hoping to see Quentin walk in through the door, but was disappointed every time it was just another girl she didn't know. At least they seemed nice, she thought, but she inevitably felt a like a bit of an outsider when Lyanna, the only person she'd seen around her common room, chatted up Victoria like old friends. She was the only one here who didn't know anyone, it seemed. Well, except for Syrah. Linnéa glanced in the direction of the Slytherin girl who stood by herself, unfazed, wondering what she was doing here. It really didn't seem like her scene, but maybe she'd just assumed? Maybe behind that ice cold exterior, somewhere deep, deep down, was a girl that wanted to feel appreciated and loved?

Linnéa was about to approach her when the door opened again, and this time she did light up when she saw who it was. Quentin! Thank Merlin! He'd already spotted her though, already on his way over to her with a smile on his face. It melted away any pent up anxiety on the spot. Her cheeks flushed a bit at his compliment, and probably some leftover from the utter humiliation before, curtesy of a certain Gryffindor brunette. No names mentioned- She didn't even know her name.

"Hi! Thank Merlin you're here, I was feeling like a total outsider. What are we even doing here?" She leaned in to whisper in disbelief so only he heard. How the fuck had she thought this was a good idea? Sighing, she pulled away to give him a once over. "You look great though." Reaching out to feel the soft cable knit between her fingers, "I love your sweater, it really suits you." It made him look like a scholar, if about 15 years too young.

Quentin took in the room and she followed his line of sight, assuming he was thinking what she was thinking. "I wonder if any other girls here are not straight." Or else they were in for a pretty bland evening. Lin thought girls were pretty and wouldn't mind kissing them, personality was more important to her than gender, but she had a feeling she was one of the few- if not the only one- who felt the same.

"Can I get you a drink?" Quentin asked her, nodding down to her empty hands. Actually, that's exactly what she'd been missing. Linnéa nodded. "Yeah, I'd love to." The two of them walked over to the snacks table and let her friend give her a drink. There was probably no reason to suspect that there was anything else than juice in the drink, but if anyone would sneak in stronger stuff to an underage party, it was someone like Sebastian. Accepting the glass from Quentin, she sipped experimentally. Definitely just juice, she thought and took another sip.

Sebastian decided to welcome them to the party then, and she turned in his direction. It was honestly difficult to listen to what he was saying, since it was kind of distracting to look at him directly, but all he wanted to say was that the games shall begin. Glancing at Q, they followed and took their seats on a cushion each. The game mechanics were easy in terms of spinning the bottle... Kissing however... Linnéa was pretty fucking nervous for that, depending on the bottle.

Since no one else took the first spin, Linnéa decided to not be a lame bitch for one, and show that she could be fun, and shuffled out on the floor to spin the bottle. While it spun, she prayed to whatever gods there was, hoping for a good result. Holding her breath, she watched it land on a girl that she hadn't seen before. Or more accurately, she hadn't seen her arrive at the party, assumedly a late arrival, but she knew the girl as a fellow first year hufflepuff. Stelle, or something? How could she not have noticed her, when she literally was one of the prettiest girls she'd ever seen? Which just made this so much worse. Not only was she making Linnéa nervous: was she even into girls?

Gauging her reaction but thinking she just saw uncertainty overall in her expression, Linnéa wasn't sure what to do when she crawled over to her side of the circle. "Umm... Hi. Stelle right?" Linnéa greeted the girl, face burning crimson at the mere proximity, before she leaned forward and planted a simple peck on her lips. Nothing more, before she all but ran back to her spot beside Quentin. Hoping and praying she just hadn't made a fool out of herself.

"Just what the hell do you think you're doing?" Thaniel imagined his mother's voice echoing in his head. He put his palm to his head as if it would make the imaginary voice disappear, but it only turned to his father's saying, "Snogging?? Really? That's what you were expelled for?"

"It's fine, you're not going to get in trouble... Just stop worrying," he told himself, lightly beating the palm of his hand against his head. Thaniel always worried, though, and that worry would only grow stronger as the door of the fourth-floor rehearsal room came into view.

He hesitated to think of all the possibilities, good and bad.

'What AM I doing here? You don't even know any of these people. You were probably only invited to be the virgin sacrifice of some new Hogwarts cult. You literally heard 'kissing party in the rehearsal room' and suddenly you think you're Big Billy Bad Ass, coming in to steal all the girls at the party? Girls aren't even your thing! You like plants and sports, and reading, and pretty much every single thing girls think is lame. You've never even a kissed a girl. OR A BOY!? Oh crap, what if I have to kiss a boy?'

His face twisted in confusion, his eyes looking up as he imagined what kissing a boy would be like. 'That's weird', he thought as he shrugged his shoulders and let out a soft laugh under his breath.

His eyes fixated on the Rehearsal Room entrance again, his thoughts pausing as he watched a Hufflepuff girl enter the room. The kissing party room. His mind began to race again.

What if I kissed her!? She was pretty! What if she hates it? Should I leave? No...

Thaniel took a deep breath and boldly walked up to the door, shaking away his reservations to conquer the kissing party and finally make a friend! (And kiss someone.) He raised his fist to knock. Was he supposed to knock? He pretended to knock to test how it felt. It felt weird. I shouldn't knock. Did that girl knock? Was there a secret knock? Oh, what the hell!

Thaniel had won the ongoing battle in his mind and he gripped the doorhandle and pushed it open.

"Ermm.. Hi, everyone," he said. Standing in front of the door awkwardly. "I... umm... is this the kissi.. the party?" Thaniel noticed his hand had floated to his temple, pushing his finger tips tight against his forehead, likely there to shame him for almost calling it the kissing party. You're so lame his fingertips would have said, had they had minds of their own.

"Sorry, I heard there was a... umm... party? I was going to see if it would be, erm... cool... if I hang." Thaniel thought that what he was saying was anything but cool. The other kids would probably start laughing any second now. But with another bout of awkwardness, he pushed his feet forward and began walking toward the ring of pink and red pillows. He hated pink, so he chose a red one next to, OH GREAT MERLIN IT'S THAT GIRL!"

It was the Hufflepuff girl from the corridor, the pretty one who had just walked in. Thaniel felt his face turn as red as the pillow under his clenched ass cheeks, and a knot tied itself in his stomach. "I'm Thaniel." he blurted out at her. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. "Sorry... erm... I'm not really used to hanging with other kids." he explained earnestly.

OH GREAT! Now they KNOW you're a virgin! You might as well have just ASKED to be the virgin sacrifice! his mind was screaming, reminding him that he can't just breathe away his nerves. But suddenly his nerves were calmed. As his eyes darted from face to face, they were interrupted by a feeling he had never had before. He felt his pupils dilate as his focus was drawn to one of the other two boys in the room. He was... beautiful. His chiseled chin, his perfect hair. His skin was practically glowing. His heart rate slowed, and he felt calm when he looked at him, as if he was looking at a statue.

Okay, well, it's obvious why everyone else is here now. he thought, pulling himself back to reality. He glanced at the bottle on the floor and realized it was facing the Hufflepuff girl next to him, and he tried to read the expression on her face. Realizing she had probably just been kissed by one of the two other guys in the room, his heart fluttered in embarrassment.

"So who's next?"

When Tori saw Lyanna, she immediately hugged her. She was very happy to see someone she knew.

"Lyanna, I missed you so much. How are you? It's good to see someone familiar here. It's nice to see you without the superior potion. I think tonight will be very different."

After a while, she separated from her friend and took chocolate from among the snacks and started eating it. The room was starting to get more crowded.

When she finished her chocolate, she sat on one of the pillows on the floor. She never thought she'd have her first kiss like this.

With the thought of turning the bottle, she turned the bottle and made it turn. When the bottle stopped, the bottle itself paused. She didn't expect this. When the other end of the bottle came, she saw that it was stopped by the girl who introduced herself as Syrah.

"Hey I didn't want to meet like this but I'll be quick"

She immediately kissed her lips and pulled back after a few seconds. This abundance had to be predicted.

"You're not uncomfortable, are you? Although kissing a stranger is a little uncomfortable."

Tori did her hair her old blonde color and sat back down.

Stelle watched curiously as the bottle spun on the floor, not much anticipation. It wasn’t the first time she’d participated in such a game, though she’d never taken it too seriously. When the object finally came to a stop, her eyes followed the direction it was pointing and came upon a girl she didn’t know well. She remembered seeing her in the hallways, but she didn’t know her name. Before she could process much more, the girl(Linnéa, if she’d heard right)strolled over and greeted her with a shy “Hello” before leaning in and pressing a kiss against her lips. It was quick, barely a brush, but enough to notice that the other girl was tense. When Linnéa hurried away, Stelle blinked a few times and smiled pleasantly, as if to reassure her that everything was okay. She wasn’t surprised or uncomfortable, much less confused. She knew she didn’t like girls that way, but she didn’t feel like the kiss had been a problem either. She couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh. It was just part of the game. Still, seeing Linnéa's flushed face, she felt a small urge to reassure her.

—Yes, my name is Stelle. Nice to meet you—. she said lightly, accompanying her words with a gentle smile.

She couldn't think of anything else to say without making him more awkward, so she simply turned her attention back to the circle. She adjusted her dress and sat down on one of the pink cushions, looking around in a relaxed manner. Stelle blinked when the door opened, her attention shifting from the bottle to the boy who had just entered. She didn't know him, but his awkward way of speaking and the way he seemed to struggle with himself gave her a sense of familiarity. She had felt that kind of awkwardness in her first month at Hogwarts too, trying to fit into social situations without knowing exactly how.

When he sat down next to her, his hurried words took her a little by surprise. He seemed nervous, so much so that Stelle felt the urge to reassure him somehow. —Hello, Thaniel—. she replied with a soft smile, tilting her head slightly. —Don’t worry, I think everyone here is the same…—. She gestured to the bottle, implying that the whole situation was somewhat awkward and new to most of them.

She watched him for a moment, wondering if she should say anything else, but then she noticed his gaze fixed on someone else in the circle. She wasn’t sure what was going through his mind, but his expression seemed… fascinated. Stelle decided not to comment on it. She didn’t really feel particularly interested in him, she lacked the “it” factor, so far. In general, what caught her attention the most was that there were few boys. While it didn’t bother her, she felt more comfortable kissing boys than girls, but she would never deny that they were all very pretty.

—I guess it’s my turn to spin—. she said, distracting herself from the matter and bringing a hand to her hair. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before leaning forward to take the bottle and held his gaze as it spun. At the tip of the bottle, her eyes met a Ravenclaw boy. That caught her attention, she didn't know any Ravenclaw people, but he looked nice. What was his name? Quentin or Harrington? She approached him, noticing Linnéa at his side, she gave them a friendly smile.

—Excuse me, you touched me. Can I kiss you?—. she asked softly looking at him. She was probably going to kiss him, but she didn't want to be rude and come out of nowhere to kiss him without permission. She smiled softly looking at the boy curiously, waiting for his answer.

Quentin had hoped that Linnéa would be happy to see him but he couldn’t deny that the sense of relief that washed over her face when she saw him boosted his ego just a little. He chuckled at her comment. “What do you mean, ‘what are we even doing here?’ I’m only here because you asked me to be!” He grinned down at her, but then when she reached out to feel his sweater, and her fingertips lightly brushed against his arm underneath, he felt a warmth spread through him.
“You look great though. I love your sweater, it really suits you.”
Okay, now he was beaming. And all the time in front of the mirror felt well worth it. “Aww… thanks,” he said quickly, trying to be nonchalant, though his reddening cheeks might have been a tell. His glance around the room seemed to have Lin doing the same, but her comment was not what he had been thinking.
“I wonder if any other girls here are not straight.”
He hadn’t missed the ‘other’ part of that sentence, not that it mattered, but he’d been wondering if Sebastian had actually planned on inviting any other guys or if he just wanted all the kisses to himself. Other people must have been questioning him about the same thing since he suddenly pointed towards Quentin, exclaiming that he ‘told you so’. Quentin glanced down at Lin again. “I don’t think you’ll have any issues finding people willing to kiss you, if that’s what you are worried about.” He wasn’t sure exactly how a ‘kissing party’ worked or what they were in store for, but he didn’t think that she would lack for suitors regardless. That’s when he’d glanced at her hands. “Can I get you a drink?” When she agreed, the two of them crossed the room towards the refreshments table.

Quentin filled two glasses with some sort of concoction. Punch or something. He started to hand it to Lin when the door opened up and he glanced up to see her enter. The girl had long, curly blonde hair that hung in waves down to her hips, framing her white dress with green accents, and swaying slightly as she walked. She had bright blue eyes and near perfect skin, but it was the smile. The smile. She glanced around the room as she entered, her expression demure and elegant and… mesmerizing. Quentin stared, starstruck. In his enraptured state, he forgot to hand Lin the drink, instead holding it, frozen in place. She must have taken it from him at some point, but he didn’t really notice. “Wh- Who is that?” He asked no one in particular. Maybe Lin? But his eyes never left the girl as she crossed the room. It was then that Sebastian called for everyone’s attention, to get the party started. That announcement kind of pulled Quentin from his trance and he blinked several times. “Wait. What’s happening?” He glanced at Lin, but she was already staring at Sebastian, who was still talking, and Quentin turned his attention to their host as well, who was leading them all over to a set of cushions positioned in a circle on the floor, and a bottle in the center.
“...It’s simple really. Just spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on, you’ll snog. Easy?”
Quentin nodded, his eyes drifting over to the gorgeous blonde girl once again. He knew who he wanted the bottle to land on already.

They all took their seats on the cushions, just as someone else entered, greeting them all, albeit a bit awkwardly. Quentin had seen him in passing in classes, though they hadn’t interacted at all really. He couldn’t remember what his name was, but he did feel a pang of jealously flare up suddenly when the boy ended up in the seat next to the captivating blonde girl in the white and green dress, and the two almost immediately started chatting. He was so focused on their interaction that he was completely caught off guard when Linnéa almost immediately started into the circle and spun the bottle. His jealousy flared even more when her bottle immediately landed on the girl who had drawn his attention so thoroughly, and he watched Lin approach her with a tightness in his stomach.
“Umm… Hi. Stelle right?”
Stelle… So that was her name. A name as enchanting as the girl herself. Quentin watched with bated breath as Lin leaned in, feeling a sense of relief as the kiss was rather chaste and hurried. He grinned at Lin as she hurried back, her face red. She’d done fine. It was a good first kiss to start the game in his opinion, though he wasn’t sure how wild things were likely to get. Based on most of the people here, it might be like that all night. That didn’t stop anxiety from roiling inside him when Stelle leaned forward to spin the bottle, her serene expression a stark contrast from his heart hammering in his chest. Quentin held his breath as the bottle spun, and time seemed to stretch on forever as it slowly spun in lazy circles, until it eventually found its final position. And it was pointing directly at him.

Quentin had almost never been shy around anyone. Guys. Girls. Old ladies. None of them made him nervous. But his mouth was bone dry as the girl approached, a hypnotizing smile on her face. She spared a glance and a smile to Lin beside him as she crouched down in front of him, getting on his level. Wait. Were there other people in the room? Did anyone else even exist other than the two of them at this moment? Honestly, at that second, Quentin couldn’t be sure. He stared at Stelle, his eyes wide.
“Excuse me, you touched me. Can I kiss you?”
She was asking him? Quentin opened his mouth to respond but no words came out. Actually, no sound at all came out. He tried in vain to answer her a few times, before he cut his losses and instead just nodded slowly, his enlarged eyes never leaving her own. Such a gorgeous shade of blue. Like bluebells blooming in an untouched meadow. He waited impatiently for her to cross the distance between them, his heart battering his chest so furiously there was no way that she couldn’t hear it…

Syrah barely reacted when the bottle stopped on her. She just stared at it for a second, unimpressed, before glancing up at the girl across from her. Tori. Someone she didn’t know, didn’t particularly care to know, and certainly wouldn’t have chosen to kiss if she had any say in it. But this whole thing was a stupid game, and she’d already committed to being here. So when the girl leaned in and kissed her, Syrah didn’t flinch or hesitate—she just let it happen.

It was quick. Mercifully quick. And when Tori pulled away, Syrah remained exactly as she was, blank-faced and quiet, as if she were still processing whether or not that had even happened.

Then, finally, she blinked.

“Well.” A pause. “That was a thing.”

Tori was talking, asking if she was uncomfortable. Syrah exhaled slowly, looking at her with an expression that was hard to read. “I don’t make a habit of kissing strangers,” she said flatly, “but I wouldn’t say it’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.” Another pause. “It’s not the best either.”

She leaned back, adjusting her position slightly, arms resting lazily over her knees. “You seem weirdly enthusiastic about all this,” she muttered, tilting her head. “It’s a kissing party, not the Triwizard Tournament. No one’s winning anything.”

Her gaze flickered to the bottle. She wasn’t sure why she was still talking. Usually, she didn’t bother. Maybe it was the sheer absurdity of the whole thing, the fact that she was stuck here, kissing strangers, when she could’ve been doing literally anything else.

After a beat, she sighed, reaching forward and giving the bottle a spin. “Whatever. Let’s just keep going.”

Syrah stared at the bottle, her expression unreadable. Of course. Of course it had to land on him.

She exhaled sharply through her nose, gaze flickering up to meet Sebastian’s. He looked entirely too pleased with himself, which made her want to roll her eyes so hard they got stuck.

For a moment, she considered just getting up and leaving. It wasn’t like she cared about this stupid game. But then she imagined the smug look on his face if she backed out, and—ugh. No.

She stood up from her position on the floor, taking a step toward him with a resigned expression, her movements slow, deliberate. When she finally stood before him, she didn’t smile. She didn’t smirk. She didn’t say a word.

When she got close enough, she barely brushed her lips against his before pulling away just as fast, straightening like the whole thing had been a complete waste of her time.

The contact was quick, mechanical, as if she were just checking off another task on her to-do list. No emotion. No care. Just... done.

“There. Done.” She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, more out of dramatics than actual necessity, before settling back into her previous position.

Anyone who knew Kostas Woods, granted not many, would agree that the least likely place to find him was at a kissing party. Some may argue that they didn’t expect to find him anywhere near other humans at all. Although they weren’t inherently wrong about that, there were only so many things to do around the ancient castle, when his only company was me, myself and I. In the end, his arrival to the fourth floor rehearsal room was just a coincidence that happened to align with the planned date for the party. It had been virtually impossible to miss the news when the himbo Gryffindor had all but run around the castle, inviting anyone in sight. Mostly girls, he’d concluded, but not exclusively. Had the guy expected to be the main attraction when he planned this event? Probably. And that might be one motivator for him to show up, though the main reason was that he frankly was bored out of his fucking mind. If there was any place to cause some rupture, it was at an event like this.

It didn’t bother Kostas at all that the party had already begun and rest of the party guests most likely didn’t expect him, that his presence was disruptive. He pushed the door open and entered like he belonged there, with an air of cool indifference around him. The only thing missing from the image was a dark looming cloud that came with the package. He didn’t even bother to introduce himself before he claimed his space around the circle, cooly glancing around the circle once to acknowledge who was there. No one he knew personally, obviously. It was an open invite, was it not? It hardly mattered, he didn’t give a shit either way.

A blonde girl was currently crouched in front of one of the few boys, seemingly on her way to kiss him. The boy that, judging by his starstruck expression, looked like all his christmases had come at once. The boy was struggling to form words at all, which came across as ridiculous to Kostas. Nevertheless, it made him take a second, more scrutinizing look at the girl. Kostas could kind of see the appeal; she had an aura of allure and beauty that fleetingly caught the eye. At best he could describe it as foliage on top of no substance. Kind of like how muggles liked to pimp up their cars and cover the most basic models in foil. It made them look momentarily high value, despite still being the same cheap car underneath. Of course, he wouldn't have regarded her this closely if the ravenclaw boy's behavior hadn't been both annoying and pathetic. If he had been a different person, he might even have had a similar reaction to the girl. But he wasn’t. Not even close. Not to say he wouldn’t kiss her if the bottle said so–- he would, but few things impressed him. Sickly sweet blondes in frilly dresses were definitely not one of those things.

After that ridiculously stupid display was finally over, the game moved on. Kostas had still not said a word to anyone when he moved out to spin the bottle, still looking mildly bored. It was only further emphasised by the end result, when it had stopped in front of one of the shaggy looking boys. Since he didn’t come here with a specific goal in mind, it wasn’t the end of the world, even if he didn’t have much interest in boys at all. Granted, he didn’t have interest in anyone except for the intent of toying with, but at least he found some girls worth looking at. In the grand scheme of things, he didn’t actually care, but to say he was thrilled would be a severe overstatement. With an unreadable expression, trying to decide how to maneuver this, Kostas moved over to the boy. He raised an eyebrow at him before taking the highroad. Seizing him by the back of his neck, he pulled the boy towards him, a mild scowl on his face before their mouths crashed together. If the other boy was into it was none of his concern, it was just a part of the game. It wasn’t tame, nor particularly scandalous– or maybe it was to this lot for all he knew, but it was a kiss.

“Adequate.” Kostas commented dryly when he’d pulled away, expression still void of any emotion regarding the kiss. It was safe to assume that it had no effect on him.
OOC note: I know, Kostas is an asshole. The timeline of the game was a bit confusing, but he jumped in after Stelle and Quentin finished.

She leaned forward slightly, her expression calm as she searched his face for any sign. His eyes were wide, as if they were caught in some kind of spell. It was funny how some people reacted that way. The boy tried to respond, but the words seemed stuck in his throat. Watching him struggle, Stelle felt a small pang of amusement. Still, she didn’t rush him. When he finally ascended, his face still tinged with surprise, she leaned in calmly, closing the distance with a natural gesture. Stelle noticed out of the corner of her eye someone watching her with a different intensity than the rest. It wasn’t the dazed, bedazzled look some saw her with, nor the curiosity typical of a game like this. No, there was something sharper in his expression, as if he were meticulously assessing, looking for something in her to judge. That was striking.

The distant murmur of the room faded into the background as she brought her face closer to his. For a second, her eyes searched his, wondering if he was going to react at any moment. Finally, her lips brushed his in a soft, brief but deliberate contact. A kiss she barely forced for an instant before she pulled back with the same ease with which she had approached. She wanted something soft but natural, not wanting to make him uncomfortable either. She pulled away a little, directing her blue eyes to his.

—Your turn—. she said, giving him space to react.

With a calm gesture, she pulled away from the boy she had just kissed and settled back into place, running a hand through her hair to gently throw it behind her shoulders. It hadn’t been a bad kiss. Nor was it particularly memorable. But the stunned gleam in Quentin’s eyes had been entertaining enough. She knew how people saw her, but this time it had had a special gleam.

Her gaze wandered naturally around the room until it met the observer’s. A boy with sharp features and an inscrutable expression, with something about his countenance that conveyed a certain disdain, though he carried it with the comfort of someone who was used to looking at the world from a distance. For a moment, her eyes remained fixed on his, measuring, exploring. There was no particular reason for holding her gaze, beyond simple curiosity to see if he would look away first. Some people were like that, Stelle thought. Elusive and hard to impress, as if the entire world had to prove to them that it was worthwhile before they would bother to partake in it. Sometimes, she even wondered if these people wanted to be captivated, or if they preferred to convince themselves that nothing was ever enough for them. She said nothing. There was no need. Instead, she let a slight smile dance on her lips, not mocking or particularly friendly, but the kind of smile that leaves a question hanging in the air. Then, as if she had never been paying particular attention to him, she looked away. He took a deep breath and carefully stood up, walking towards the table with food. She wasn't going to deny it, the boy from before had caught her attention, at least momentarily.

date. [ 02/19/25 ]———event. [Valentines Day Party ]——————------------------------

He’d barely had the time to introduce the game before one of the girls were quick as fuck to shuffle out on the floor and take control of the bottle. Sebastian was a bit surprised that the seemingly shy girl had it in her, but liked the energy! Sebastian watched with mild intrigue as the bottle landed on another blonde girl, one that arrived a bit late, and they shared a simple peck. Okay, lame. A bit tamer than he’d expected people to kiss, he thought a bit disappointed, but maybe that was to be expected of two prim and proper Hufflepuffs?

Another boy entered the room and awkwardly introduced himself. He was welcome to join of course, but Sebastian grinned with his eyebrows raised when the boy, Thaniel, began word-vomiting things that made no sense. Except that he wasn’t used to hanging out with other kids. That part was clearly obvious. “Oh, we can tell, honey.” Yet, Sebastian thought it was funny and a bit endearing, in a really dorky way. Then Thaniel came to rest his gaze on him. Seb looked back at him with a smile, expecting him to say something but could only see him fading further and further away, seemingly lost in thought.

Lame kisses seemed to become somewhat of a trend when even the next kiss between the latter girl and one of the boys was chaste and simple. Even if everyone could tell that that boy was thristy as fuck for more. Sebastian watched his wide-eyed drool in amusement, a bit surprised he didn’t leap forward to kiss her again. Maybe he was exaggerating in his observation, maybe not. One thing was clear to Seb however, he was whipped.

“Someone left an impression.” Cheekily commented on the boy’s behaviour after they’d kissed, though without any ill-intent words. Sure, the girl was obviously a pretty girl, but not necessarily more than any of the others in the room. At least according to him, who unbeknownst to himself was one of the few immune to the charm oozing off of her. Instead he was more concerned with this: was he the only one who intended to snog properly here?

Around this time, they were joined by another latecomer. Sebastian wouldn’t have thought anything of it, if that person wasn’t one of the more, if not the most, unfriendly people in his house. Okay, let’s be real, he didn’t think much of it anyway, but it was surprising to say the least to see him there. The host would have smiled at him, if the boy had spared him as much as glance when he joined them. Excuse me? This was his party after all. Not as much as a hello? Frowning with a mental eyeroll to being ignored, he fumed quietly, fine, be that way, bitch.

It might only be him, but it felt like there was an increase in focus when the girl that had successfully rendered the other boys speechless— or more accurately, rendered one of them speechless, meanwhile the other had retorted to word-vomiting– left for the snacks table. Wonder why that was?

After another kiss or two, it was finally Sebastian's turn. Obviously, he wasn’t desperate, but it would be kind of a waste to host a kissing party without getting any kisses. It was another blonde– Fuck, how many blonde girls were there here?! Anyway, this was one of the more bitchy blondes. He drew that conclusion because she’d looked overall disinterested to be here, and after staring at him like she contemplated just leaving, approached him with a resigned expression. Like it wasn’t a privilege to put her lips on his? It wasn’t like he was holding a gun to her head!

“Could you look less happy to see me?” Sebastian asked her humorously when she hadn’t even pulled a muscle.

Safe to say he hadn’t expected anything groundbreaking, he wasn’t disappointed nor surprised when the kiss, if you could call it that, was nothing more than a brush of lips. To be fair, he did press forward a bit more, to get some pressure, but it still could not be considered a real kiss in his eyes. It was fine. It was still only the first round.

What was not fine however, was that she had the audacity to wipe her mouth afterwards, like he’d been some drooling dog that had slobbered all over her! Sebastian was a great kisser, for your information! He was truly baffled. Not that he would tell her this, but that honestly offended him like nothing else. Call him dumb, stupid, poor!(that was obviously not true) But that could actually be the last straw that broke the camel's back. If he hadn’t been the host of this party and had an image to upkeep.

“Wow,” His tone was as lackluster as that so-called kiss. “Next time, kiss like you mean it.” This was said sweetly, acting as if he wasn’t greatly annoyed. But you could bet he was!

Closed Spin the bottle PV group
Thaniel's nerves faded once Stelle introduced herself and comforted him by explaining that everyone in the room was in the same boat as him. Most of the kids there didn't know each other, so he wasn't alone in his singularity. He smiled at the nice girl next to him in appreciation for her calm demeanor, and secretly, his hopes of kissing were heightened.

Unfortunately, he watched that dream die as Stelle spun the bottle, which landed on Quentin, and she indulged him in a kiss that the Ravenclaw boy was obviously all too keen to receive. A kiss that should have been Thaniels, but he wouldn't let his jealousy for a girl he had just met ruin his night. Besides, more interesting things were surely soon to come.

After Stelle retreated to her seat after sharing a kiss with the star-struck Ravenclaw, Thaniel watched as another girl, Syrah, reached for the bottle and spun it. He could tell they were both thinking the same thing but for different reasons. Of course, it had to land on him! Thaniel watched as the girl leaned over and kissed Sebastian, whose eyes were stripped of excitement when the girl gave him little more than an Eskimo kiss. But, of course, Sebastian would be a gentleman about it and throw in some constructive feedback in his suave, flirty voice, letting her know it would be a lot better if she put some emphasis behind it.

After Syrah's lackluster kiss, Thaniel's eyes widened as another all too attractive guy entered the room, this one, much more confident than anyone else and much more... rude. He didn't say a word as he entered the circle. He observed for only a moment before taking the bottle himself and giving it a spin. Thaniel's eyes were fixated on the bottle as it spun round and round until it slowed as it neared him. And of course... His first would be a dude. Thaniel's eyes widened a little and he felt a mix of embarrassment and nervousness rise up in his throat.

The boy leaned over the circle and with an eyebrow raised, he put his hand on the back of Thaniel's head and pulled him in. Thaniel felt the sting of the boys teeth colliding with his lip and he was certain that it was busted. The guys lips pressed firmly against Thaniels for a moment before he released his grip from the back of his head and retreated to his seat. It all happened so fast. His first kiss, was with a dude, and it was... awful. He tried to hide the expression on his face from telling the all too confident guy that he was probably not as good at kissing as he thought.

His lip still stung, and Thaniel licked the blood from it as the guy who kissed him said, "Adequete," as if his review held merit.

"Thanks...." he said, trying to hide the look of confusion and violation he felt so strongly. "I guess that means it's my turn."

Thaniel grabbed the bottle, hoping it wouldn't land on the guy again. He didn't think he could deal with kissing that dude again. He may have been attractive but damn it he was an over confident asshole. He gave the bottle a spin and it rolled out of place a little as it spun in circles several times, finally landing on one of the girls. Thank Merlin, he thought, briefly flashing back to the kiss he had just endured.

"Well.... I guess you're the lucky girl," he said, playfully. He didn't want to come off as an asshole like the other guy. "Do you mind?"

Thaniel leaned forward, less nervous than he thought he would be, and placed his hand gently on the girl's face. He tilted his head sideways and felt his eyes close as he slowly leaned in, closing the gap between her lips and his. He held the kiss for a few moments, noticing how soft her lips were and how unpainful it was compared to the last one. It felt nice. He retreated a little and opened his eyes with a slight smile on his face. "I'm Thaniel, by the way," he said quietly to her, giving the girl one last look of admiration before finding his seat again. "That was really nice."
