The moon hung high in the sky, barely veiled by a few lazy clouds drifting over the forest canopy. Stelle walked along the dirt path, a mixture of uncertainty and quiet excitement shimmering in her blue eyes. The cool night air played with her curls—now loose and slightly unruly after undoing the bun she had worn to the dance. She wasn’t entirely sure what to expect; she had accepted the invitation out of politeness, yet something about it had stirred her curiosity.

“Come play and make bad decisions with us at Happy Place—just casual fun.”

And well... sometimes, one must allow oneself to act on impulse. Or so she hoped. It felt less like a spontaneous decision and more like a quiet challenge: a test to see whether she could truly adapt to new experiences or if her deeply ingrained sense of propriety would always hold her back.

The cabin appeared at the end of the path like an open invitation to let go. Soft, glowing lights hung in strands from the trees, flickering mischievously as though they knew something she didn’t. Music and laughter drifted from within. Stelle paused at the entrance. Through the partially open door, she saw silhouettes dancing, lounging, and talking—students gathered in relaxed clusters around pillows scattered across the floor. With a gentle sigh—more nerves than weariness—she pushed open the door and stepped inside.

Warmth and light immediately embraced her. The atmosphere was inviting, slightly chaotic, and utterly enchanting, as if the space itself was woven from the kind of magic that only arises when nothing is planned and anything can happen. Jars of enchanted sweets glittered on a nearby table, alongside a spread of curious homemade potions with unidentifiable flavors.
She removed her cloak, offered a soft, reserved smile, and stepped further into the room, guided by curiosity. There was an unspoken promise in the air: tonight was not meant to be taken too seriously. And for once, Stelle didn’t feel the need to be perfect. Tonight… she could simply enjoy herself.

She recognized very few people in the room—save for Harvey, who appeared to be in the middle of a tense exchange with another dark-haired boy. Taking a breath, she turned away from the scene and allowed herself to take in the rest of the guests.
One girl in particular caught her attention—a presence so striking, she instantly reminded Stelle of the women of the Divogenia lineage. Her long, sleek hair was as dark as midnight in a silent mausoleum, and there was a quiet confidence about her that captivated. Without hesitation, Stelle approached. She adjusted her curls slightly, and with a composed smile and gentle ease, made the first move.

—Hello, I’m Stelle. And you are…?—. she asked, her voice soft but sincere, eyes focused. —You have truly remarkable hair—.
