Avery cheered at the top of her lungs alongside Colin. The spell had worked! Tracey was now out of the game! Avery couldn't believe it! Hufflepuff had a chance at actually winning! "You got this Emily! Keep up the good work!" Avery cheered. Avery watched as the last Ravenclaw was defeated. It was at that moment that she realized Emily was not okay. The duel had really hit her hard. She was worried for her friend and made a mental note to go and visit her in the Hospital Wing once she had been treated. The other girl was also being taken to the wing. She didn't know her, but she had put up a good fight. Though, she was no match for Hufflepuff! Avery sank down next to Colin. Her thoughts whirling like a tornado. She didn't know what to do. She knew it would still be a little bit before Emily was treated, so she still had a few minutes before she would leave. "At least Hufflepuff won today. Though, I hope Emily will be okay." Avery commented to Colin as she listened to the cheering and groaning around her. Though, she didn't hear the crowds. All she could think about was the duel. Suddenly, Avery awoke from her daydream sort of state. Remembering where she was and what she needed to do. "I'm going to go and check on Emily in the Hospital Wing. See you there!" Avery said to Colin as she waved and walked away. Ready to face her friend now that things were over.

Match 7

Watching as the 2 teams took to the stage Mylo hoped things would go better for Maisie than they had for him. Having found a seat next to Avis to watch their friend have her first duel Mylo couldn't help but hope that she had taken the advice he had given her to heart.

And although the duel seemed to be going okay, soon the Ravenclaws seemed to be outmatched as 2 of their teammates dropped to the floor and all three of the Hufflepuffs still standing, it was a sight Mylo themselves could empathise with.

As they saw Maisie take in the situation she was in he knew she wouldn't give up, determination written all over. She would be fighting till the end. And then he saw it.

She took up the stance they had taught her, making Mylo a very proud teacher.

Unfortunately the combination of a blindfold and a very very well cast spell, seriously Mylo had not seen spells cast that well often, meant that she still got to have a meeting with the floor. Not that it lasted long, as she got up very quickly. Although the Hufflupuffs rightfully took advantage of her state, and cast several spells at her luckily only one of which actually hit her.

But she was looking very injured, and Mylo could tell that one more hit would knock her out. And that hit came immediately. Even as Maisie tried to dodge it it was made very difficult by the blindfold covering her eyes and she got hit, getting sent to the ground again this time not to get up until she had been treated.

She had fought really well though, and Mylo couldn't be happier for her as she had gotten some really good practice in. After she woke up they would help her train some more, maybe teach her a spell or two that would serve her well in her next duels. They looked over at Avis who had been sitting alongside them the whole time shouting encouragements at their friend. "I'm going to go see her in the hospital wing, want to come with?" he asked, getting up to go and congratulate their friend.
