Rian hurries over to an empty seat and plops down. Without paying attention to his fellow Hufflepuffs, he starts scoffing down food. "A little of this and that!" He said to himself. One would think this slim lad was starved at home. Or just incredibly rude.In truth, Rian since starting his trip to Hogwarts has barely eaten or slept. Not to mention, this being the first time he's seen so much food.

All of this right now was heaven for Rian. He hasn't genuinely thought a great deal about conversation. He didn't even know if he was at the right table. Rian never really had friends. Nor did he just casually talk, so even if there wasn't food, he wouldn't know how to start.

After eating some more, Rian felt full. He let out a long sigh, feeling satisfied with how much he had eaten. Just then he had remembered something important. Where he was.He looked back and forth around the table in embarrassment. "Oh... uh." He felt awkward, and hoped he did not leave an unfavourable impression of himself. "H-hi. I'm Rian Pack. As you can tell, I'm quite hungry."Is all he could say. He slumped into his chair and didn't pick up another piece of food.

AHH! I'm late again!

After standing at the large doors for awhile and soaking in all the insults from Slytherin students Eleanor figured it was time to finally go and take a seat. There wasn't much that Eleanor knew about the place or its inhabitants. Scratch that -- Eleanor knew next to nothing about Hogwarts. In fact, she never even knew that magic was real until she got her letter; and even then, she didn't truly believe it until she was informed of her family's past. Alice was well, ignorant, oblivious to the world of magic. Now, she was only ignorant to most of it.

Eleanor sighs as she walks over, taking a seat and setting her intertwined hands upon the table with a tired aura. Her piercing eyes scanned the food as well as the others sitting around her. This was the Hufflepuff table. Everybody there looked small and meek, quiet and shy save for a few outgoing faces. Eleanor knew from the beginning of this journey that she wouldn't grow to join those outgoing faces. She'd stay forever under the radar, out of sight and out of mind as long as she'll be able to. She won't step in the limelight unless absolutely necessary.

So, Eleanor scoops of good amount of food onto her plate, cocking an eyebrow when the plate of food before her refills before her eyes. She's not that surprised. After all, it's a school of magic so she shouldn't be. Similar to science, anything is possible. Right? She doesn't dwell on the thought too long as she begins eating and unashamedly eyeing her peers.

I prefer isolation, thank you very much.

Once she was sorted to Hufflepuff, Mary started to walk towards the table, hoping to find a seat. While coming closer she was able to see more clearly her comrades. There were boys and girls and most seemed to already been talking to their close neighbors. She decided to sit next to a red hair girl who looked exhausted but also a bit lost. Maybe she was a Muggle and didn’t know much about magic. She couldn’t imagine how strange it should be, she was always surrounded with magic even if she also had muggle friends.

She sat but didn’t really know how to start a conversation nor if the other girl wanted to be distracted. That’s when her stomach remembered her how hungry she was. She looked on the table and saw smashed potatoes just in front of her plate. She took a generous portion then started to look for some meat. The little girl noticed some chicken but she could reach it. There was her excuse to make contact with the girl on her right!

"Excuse me, could you hand me the chicken please? I'm Mary by the way, nice to meet you."

She smiled while pointing the plate she wanted. She hoped she didn't made a bad first impression.

Lex was now just looking around. Despite only eating bits, it made him full. He went back to his usual habit of observing things. Cracks, lamps, and the sort. He sat properly as he rubbed his eyes, a little sleepy. However he chose to avoid being surprised by small things and stay alert. He ignored comments going around the table, not feeling up for socializing even more. He's had enough toda-

Wait what is that? Lex sees something incoming. Gre-no silver, translucent... NO NO NO RUN RUN RUN START RUNNING! His mind fully went to Flight mode and silver eyes dialated. He barely suppressed a yelp as he swallowed it back. By instinct he bolted, very VERY fast, almost tripping and falling but managing to run a bit farther away, before his legs buckled and he faceplanted on the floor, frozen. His whole body shook as he tried to get up, to no avail. His limbs are not helping as he threw confused commands, tangling them instead. Sometimes he hates his twitchiness.

What was that anyways? He couldn't think, his heart was pounding. He might've sprained something but he can't feel it right now. Everything was pounding. Chants to run echoed in his mind, similar to the ones that screamed at him while he was being chased by rabid dogs.

Arceus walked into the Great Hall and saw Lex face plant onto the floor, he swiftly walked up to him and bent down "Lex? You ok there dude?" He then saw a grey translucent kind of air coming towards them, and saw Marcus looking over and guessed what was going on, and quickly moved Lex and himself onto the side where that ..spell? Wouldn't hit them. He looked down to Lex and saw his face was a bit red he didn't know if it was from face planting into the ground, embarrassment or both, but he guessed both. "You ok Lex I heard that from the entrance" I making him feel worse aren't I? He thought he held our his hand to help him up, "Dude that was mean.. do you know what it was?" he asked, "I'm guessing It's a curse or jinx though" he looked at Lex and saw a bit of hair at the back of his hair was gone, the spot was only the size of a tea spoon but it made him angry. No one messes with my friends he thought, he didn't want to confront him because that would make things worse and he might also get in trouble but he would remember this.

While she was waiting for the chicken plate to be handed to her, out of the corner of her eye she saw an almost transparent… wind? And then the guy sitting about 3 or 4 students on her right got up and start running towards the door, the probably spell following him. He had almost reached the doors when he felt. Mary was felling really sorry for him, she would probably hid for three days if she would have felt in front of almost everyone. She was about to get up and check him if he needed help when one of their class mates entered the Hall and got closer to Lex, if she was not mistaking. Even if she didn’t know the guy personally he was part of her House hence he was like her family. Before she could think about what she was doing, she stood up and almost yelled towards the Slytherin table
Hey! It’s the Great Hall here, not the duelling club!

She sat back, her face as red as if she had a sunburn. Maybe that was not very clever from her to talk like that to a Slytherin. Beside she was just a first year and the guy that seemed to have cast the spell looked pretty tall so he was probably a second year or even maybe a third year.

(Slytherin Table to Hufflepuff table)
Marcus looked up from his food at the middle of the Slytherin Table, glaring at the one who yelled at his table "Why do you assume it was anyone of us, I mean we are all here enjoying a fine meal, sure we still have our hair but obviously we could of been framed and the actual person who did something is amongst your three tables, plus if we actually wanted to prank everyone it wouldn't be hair-loss spells..bah pathetic" He shouted back to the girl with a cold tone "Also a simple hair-loss jinx took half of every table down, so...what does that say to The Gryffs, Claws and Puffs defensive abilities, I only saw one shield spell and that was at the Gryffs table, Great looking shield by the way Arya!, if I could award points you would receive somewhere around 40-50 for your house, anyway back to my current argument" He shouted once more then pause to catch his breath "Of course you can all assume we did it because of the past history of our house, but how mature does that make you, true we are eleven years old for the first years that still doesn't mean you can't make a mature decision, now if you all will excuse me I will get back to eating my food!"

The Slytherin's boy reaction made Mary sick to her stomach. He wanted to be a jerk fine, but he could at least take responsibility about his actions. And he was the one talking about maturity?! The black haired girl had nothing against Slytherin House, after all it was her father's house, it was just the boy’s actions that made her mad. She wanted to let go, it was probably not worth it but she knew it was them and probably the boy that answered to her, even if she had no prove. She wanted to get back to her plate and all that made her lost her appetite. She stood up and started to walk towards the door, she noticed someone at the Gryffindors table panicking about having lost some hair. That’s what made her change her mind, and she walked up to the Slytherin table and stoped at the left of the boy.

I have nothing against Slytherin and if you knew me you would know, and yes I have no prove that it was you, but I’m not stupid. Around you nobody seemed surprised about what happened. Now if you’ll excuse me I have better things to do than lose my time with you. But please enjoy your fine meal.

She stressed the last words quoting them after him. Once she finished her monologue she walked back towards the doors, hoping nothing would happen to her. *Stupid, impulsive ass* was all she could thought about her.
